Caedyn Arenais stood within the conference room aboard the Vagabond Heavy Cruiser awaiting his new guest, his gaze staring out through the transparisteel view port, mind heavy in thought. Since the attack of Den Velmor, followed up by the skirmish with the Bryn'adul, the Order had been rife with high priority assignments and met with numerous questions and accusations from outside peoples looking for information into what they were doing regarding the current warring state of the Galaxy.

Today, Caedyn hoped that they would atleast be able to answer one of the questions posed to them; 'Where have the enslaved been taken, following the attack of Velmor. When will the people see their loved ones again'. It was difficult to deny the outcome of the investigation taken into the actions of Darth Thuyrn, and the likelihood that those the Sith had managed to take from Velmor, were out of their reach by now. Still, they had to try...

Which had brought Caedyn Arenais to the orbit of Amar, in which the Silver Assembly had organized for him to meet with a fellow Jedi colleague to undertake a mission into Sith Space. The assignment objective was straight forward, there no two ways to read their orders to follow up on the possible lead of a slave trading operation, and dismantle it. Easier said than realistically done, their mission was of a discrete nature and there would be little if any back-up were the two agents to be apprehended by the Sith.

What's more, this would be their first meeting. Caedyn and Rafiq knew little of one another, and as curious as this was, it seemed that would soon change over the coming assignment for which they'd find no other friendly company within sight once they hit their objective location.

The Vagabond would see an old ETA-Actis-class interceptor make trajectory towards it. The IFF transponder would signal friendly with the call sign "Star-fox" attached to it. " Vagabond, this is Star-fox requesting permission to land!" The soft mellow voice of Rafiq would be heard over the comms. He of course was expected and had already sent his security clearance codes to Vagabond's command.

"You are clear to land Star-fox!"

"Thank you Vagabond!" He politely responded while guiding the jedi interceptor towards the designated hangar. The small star ship maneuvered in, with it's pilot following ground crew's signals on where to land. Moments later and a gentle touch down, the Amaran would do a quick after flight check, diagnostics and systems before powering her down. With a flick of a switch the cockpit would open and He would clamber on out with great ease, even with his small stature. Rafiq was excited to have a mission again, though he was use to working alone he welcomed the chance of being teamed up with another Jedi. Though He was not detailed in the specifics of the mission, he could only assume that it would have to do with some form of sabotage. That assumption was easy for him to make, the council only calls upon him when they want a target to be artistically destroyed. The tiny fawn colored over sized eared amaran with the cute cuddly looks had a natural talent in engineering and a great love for explosives. His master still tells the haunting story of how his refresher explosively regurgitated its contents after pressing the flusher.

Rafiq stepped down from the last step and adjusted his Jedi robes. He took in the Vagabond's hangar fully, he loved the bustle. Mechanics, pilots and droids working endlessly on their assigned tasks for the greater good.

The Vagabond wasn't alike his Father's Judiciary Destroyer, it wasn't of Imperial design but from the Outer Rim of which had been supplied to him by a contact within the Outer Planets Alliance. The interior was immaculate, the floor so polished that Caedyn could see his own reflection as he walked towards the main Hangar where Rafiq Rafiq had been assigned a landing zone.

This sector of the ship held another difference from the formerly mentioned. The Vagabond boasted immense power in it's defensive and offensive capabilities, but she was no carrier by any means and so the Hangar itself was comprised mostly of smaller Transport Craft, Troop Dropships and Caedyn's own Repertoire. What this did mean however, was that there were plenty of spots available for the new arrival to be welcomed in; and thus came their inevitable meeting.

"Master Rafiq" Caedyn arrived before his fellow Jedi Knight, addressing him formally by title and bowing as was the typical Jedi custom; "Allow me to welcome you to the Vagabond. My name's Caedyn Arenais" he introduced himself. Though most might miss it, there was reason in leaving out his own title as a Jedi; it was a sign of respect to his peer both in a show of transparency but also elevating the importance of their role without boasting his own. Though nowadays it was almost natural habit for Caedyn.

"Please, this way" Caedyn gestured encouragingly for the two to walk; "I've had quarters organized for you and your fighter will be seen to by the deck crew here, but I think it's best we move to the Conference room before we talk business".
