The Tides of Destiny

Tide Bringer (Protector of Mon Cala)
Tyluko awoke from a restful night of sleep aboard The Ocean's Pride. Tyluko looked around the room and saw the morning sun gently shining in through the windows. Iris was still sleeping peacefully next to him; Tyluko smiled at her gently before carefully getting out of bed. First he went into the cockpit of the ship and sat down in front of the computer. He had recently been in contact with a ship manufacturer called Lyth Meran to place an order for the construction of customized starfighter with submersible capabilities. He smiled as he saw a message from her that stated that the craft had been constructed and would sent to him shortly. He needed this fighter to travel while The Ocean's Pride would remain on Mon Cala as a temporary home. He also took this time to send a message to the Order of the Silver Jedi, in hopes of being accepted into their order. He shut down the computer and decided that some morning practice would do him good.

He walked through the ship and noticed Oomy recharging in a corner. He was careful not to make any noise as he walked towards the exit and gently lowered the ramp of the ship. As Tyluko stepped outside he smiled as he could feel a gentle breeze and could smell the salty spray of the ocean. He stepped out onto the warm sand quickly stretched his body, it was time to do some training. He took in a deep breath.....breathe in and then he breathed out. He then quickly set up a makeshift target before heading down to the water's edge. "Feel the Force.....I am one with the Force" He told himself. He outstretched his hands and focused his thoughts, thinking of the movement of the water, feeling its motion. He slowly used the Force to form the water into a sphere, bringing it close to him, condensing it. He condensed the water, pressurising it, and using the Force to strengthen it. He paused for a few moments and then he snapped his arms forward launching the sphere towards the target, striking it head on. "A little rigid....but good overall."

Iris would wake not too long after, she would attempt to get up too fast. She would hit the floor with a thud, she would grab her chair and pull it to herself and finally after a few minutes of struggling she would get into it and dressed

Thwack! Tyluko once again struck at the target with a water orb. He had been repeating this pattern trying to get it to hit just right. Tyluko put his hands on his knees to take a short break. All those years of being in stasis had put him slightly out of practice with his hydrokinetics, if he wanted his skills to be good enough to use in combat, he'd have to get better...and more creative. He took a deep breath and once again stretch out his hands to call on the Force. He focused his mind as best as he could, manipulating the water into a pressurized orb again. However this time he slowly started to swirl his hands in a circular motion, forcing the water to form into a halo of pressurized water. He then started to increase the momentum of the water, spinning his hands faster, increasing the speed of the water in the halo. The water began to churn and writhe as it accelerated faster and faster. Tyluko then focused as hard as he could, picturing the target in his mind. After a few moments he suddenly brought his hands back to his side and swinging his arms forward stopping with his outstretched hands directing the water at the target. The water broke free of the ring following the motion of Tyluko's arms and launching forward at the target rapidly. The Force imbued water struck the target dead center shattering the target to pieces. Tyluko smiled at his results, and proceeded to draw the water out of the now soaked sand and directing it back to the ocean.

Iris would look for Tyluko in the ship and not finding him she would then head out onto the beach "Hey there stud." She would say rolling a bit closer to him, she had big plans for the day

Thwack! Thwack! Tyluko hit his next two targets in rapid succession obliterating the targets. He was pleased with today's training, he smiled to himself as he put the water back in the ocean. He was getting better at controlling the water the way that he wanted, but his form was still rigid and he needed to be able to come up with more elaborate techniques. He thought back to the way the village elders would fight trying to remember the way they connected with the Force to move the water. He also remembered that at this point in time he had really only had been practicing one form of of Dolphinarian Hydrokinetics; The Way of the Tides. This form was used often by the Tursiopas Dolphinrians which is what he was. Their form controlled water in its liquid state but he would also have to master the forms used by the Orcaisa Dolphinarians and the Amoza Dolphinarians. The Orcaisa controlled water in its solid state using ice as a weapon, while the Amoza used the gaseous phase of water in the form of mist and steam. He was startled slightly as he heard Iris come up to him and speak, he was so deep in thought he didn't even notice she was there. He turned to her and smiled, she then mentioned something about plans she had for the day. Tyluko tilted his head curiously "What exactly do you have in mind?"

Tyluko forgot that they still needed to build a house, he had been so focused on his training and joining the Jedi that he had completely forgotten about it. He felt bad that he probably wasn't going to be around much to help build it but he hoped that Oomy would be able to help alot. "What design did you have in mind?"

Tyluko was intrigued by the design he tilted his head at it curiously. It wasn't like any house head seen before but he trusted Iris's judgement. "Will this be on the beach or out on the water?"

Tyluko looked at the spot that she was referencing and smiled as he gazed upon it, thinking of the possibilities. He looked back to her, "I think the spot has great potential" he said with a smile.

Tyluko looked at the list and thought for a moment as where they might be able to get some of the metal they needed. "Well I think their are several underwater ores hidden throughout this region that we could mine."
