OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a secluded, secure location to be used for secure storage, imprisonment, and meditation.

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Temple of the Unseen Eye
  • Classification:Dark Temple // Storage Facility // Prison]
  • Location: Malachor
  • Affiliation: Antherion, The Sith, The GenoHaradan
  • Accessibility: The structure itself is a ways away past the starship graveyard, out in the dry wastes of the planet, nestled atop a sheer cliff.
  • Security: Due to the ill fortune that has fallen on the temple, it has very little in the way of internal security, and has lost much in the way of external security. As it no longer is airborne, the climate disruption array that was once its deadliest weapon has been disassembled and placed into storage for later deployment. Instead, all focus is on external defense - the structure itself is not only surrounded by an electromagnetic shield, but is likewise protected by several layers of sensor-muting technology and false signaling message repeaters, as well as an ancient (yet effective) 'Black Ice' cloaking device provided for by Adegan Crystals.
  • Description
  • The faintest shimmer in the air was all that marked the presence of the shield enveloping the temple. When it flickered for just long enough to allow entry, no longer, what was then visible was a work of decrepit grandeur. Geometric forms suggestive of fractals and intersecting platonic solids made a cradle for a complex cleanly formed into an approximation of a tesseract. The exterior was layered with shifting, shimmering patterns to deflect sensor beams, and the entire structure had sunk partially into the lifeless ground under its own weight.

POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Storage Units: Antherion considers being within the Temple of the Unseen Eye security enough for all intents and purposes... for now, at least. Malachor's strength in the Dark Side is great, and it nestles within Sith space - a furious radiation that provides enough cover for the storage of certain objects. These areas once provided food and water for troops, but instead now house valuable objects that he wishes to keep secured, including his Seed of Rage.
  • Control Facilities: The droids that once were intended to defend the structure are, for the most part, scrap. Instead, Antherion employs the minimum number of droids on a closed intranet to execute the bare minimum functions of allowing him in and operating the cloak field.
  • Life Support: Now, the building only needs to support one living being, and will not be in air. As such, this amounts to a few rooms - a water reclaimer, an atmosphere moisture filtration system, and a small hydroponic facility.
  • Information Center: The structure initially was intended to keep an eternal finger on the pulse of Malachor. Instead, the computer centers now process information gathered from a Holonet and various covert things brought personally to monitor certain galactic political trends.
  • Prison Center: Designed to hold non Force-users, this structure is a holdover from the original Panopticon.
  • Internal Generator: Although power is limited, an additional magnetic rotary has been added to supplement the structure. Now that its repulsors are deactivated, its considerable

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

It was supposed to be his throne. Things were going so simply. He was to seize power on Malachor, seize control, and reap sizable profits and underworld influence by supplanting the awful Darth and taking what by right was to be his. No, no such luck, none at all. With the annihilation of the Spire, his floating fortress was reduced to a hovel in the wasteland.

The last thing Antherion wanted to do was let it go to waste. In a fit of prodigious rage, he massacred his agents and allies and hostages, and left the droids to tend to the undefended, weaponless, yet hidden structure. In time, it began to grow on him -- there was use yet in the lessons of failure, and he would not be an ungracious student.

As he walks the sweeping, arcing hallways of the Temple, he focuses his anger. Like his own self, each passage seems to lead to a hidden center, yet only forms an endless, labyrinthine intersection of passages around a hollow, deadened heart. This is his ultimate sanctum, a dark place, not to fight or hide, but simply to be.

A cool evolution (devolution?) of an approved sub. I've got no problem with any of this. In fact, I wish more people would let their personal flagships get wrecked and roll with the consequences. Nice work.
