THE TECHNO EMPIRE
Who are we?
The Techno Empire is the successor to the TU, and follows it's ideas and motives. We are a conglomeration of companies and governments, united under a single banner to further the aims of the empire, as decided by an executive council comprised of all the respective groups that are part of the empire. This allows for us to support upcoming businesses, and help them to grow, as well as providing a collective power to defend it's affiliates.
What was the TU?
This was the motto of the TU:
"The Techno Union rejects the mindless tyranny of the Sith, the bureaucratic sluggishness of the Republic, the barbarity of the Mandalorians, and the militancy of the Protectorate. Here, the government occupies itself with the business of building a powerful economy based on the development and export of cutting edge technology.
For this region, the capitalist ideology dominates. The belief that every individual has the right for personal advancement prevails among the planets of the Techno Union. Everyone has the right to follow their own path.
In the beginning, the Techno Union was little more than a collaborative think tank. First for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, then the Abrion Systems Authority, and finally for the Abrion Corporate Alliance. Now the Techno Union has assumed direct control over the federal government, ruling in a minimalist, streamlined fashion. Each world is allocated to dictate its own affairs as the residents see fit, but the Techno Union takes a keen interest in making sure worlds are developing efficiently and maintain high economic productivity."
Why is it being rebuilt?
The TU was bogged down in bureaucracy, and there was a lack of activity within it. Still, it's core ideas remain strong, and many feel that it should be recreated, stronger than ever before. We aim to build on the foundation of the Union, and create a new empire to run the galaxy as a true government. We also aim to improve the company aspect of the faction, and the creation of ground breaking technology. One of the main problems with the old TU is that it lacked a purpose, a idea that it held dear. With the TE, we aim to fix this lack of direction.
Why should I join?
The Empire has a great potential to succeed from it's forbearers, and is ready to take off on it's journey to restore the Union to it's true potential. For those of you who are owners of companies, the TE can be a great ally. By joining us, you get a say in the running of the entire empire, and support in all your ventures, as well as protection. We also respect the desire for a normal life. In all other parts of the galaxy, war and aged ideals make it hard to just live your life.
