Special Features:
The initial body of this blade once belonged to a nameless Sith Lord, whose drowned tomb Talatheen stumbled upon during one of his adventures; it was he sole treasure he claimed from such a place and, through some strange fixation, he became driven to reimbue life into the ancient saber. While a great deal of repairs were necessary, the most important, and rarest pieces, were salvaged from the mess; the synthetically produced crystal, most of all. While most Sith Lords allowed their blade to take upon the crimson color for which they are renown, often referred to as 'bloodshine blades,' either through some unknown desire or perhaps through lighter intent the blade had taken upon the oddly bright azure color more akin to that of the Jedi.
While, prior to his induction into the One Sith, a large majority of the parts, or the means to produce them, came rather easily, Talatheen had the oddest time attempting to get his hand on a pair of cycling field energizers, as well as a magnetic stabilizing ring - an item that nearly cost his life to retrieve when he, calling upon his criminal instincts imparted by his unruly associates, turned to stealing them from his acolyte peers. Regardless, he was successful in his endeavor, only a bit more bloody and more likely to go to Hell for it; the things he had to do to worm his way out of the situation unspeakable, though, arguably, not wholly illegal. As far as he knew.
The completed form was then, upon an act of the Amalgam's aesthetic taste, painted black; while the initial bronzium finish was intended to match that of his helmet, 'The Ghost of Moraband's Autumn,' he could not help indulge in the present hope that the bleak darkness of the hilt would contrast the bright, visceral blue of the actual blade; a choice he certainly does not regret.
