The Tainted Chorus does not exists, at least as far the public is concerned...
Yet its influence reaches far, a invisible hand pulling strings beyond the sight of common eyes.
There are many that follow the call of the Dark Side, but the Chorus does not merely serve the dark, it only exists within the shadows that blind the light.
Sith, Witches, Dark Jedi, anyone who hears the dark whisper working in unison with the other shadowy elements of the galaxy.
Criminals, Assassins, Pirates, Corrupt Politicians, Shady Businessmen, anyone that prefers to stay out of sight.

The Circle of Shadows
To be called into the Circle is not a privilege taken, but one given. From behind the curtain those with power and influence oversee and manipulate the happening inside of Chorus space without making their presence known to anyone. Masters of the Force, Crime Lords, Businessmen, Pirate Kings, Politicians, they all gather in secret to form the Circle that rules the shadow of the Chorus. No meeting of the CIrcle will be held at the same place twice, and not even those that are part of it know anyone who shares the rule with them. Carefully they look over the galaxy, calling in the selected few with the right talents, wealth and influence to aid them in their quest for living and ruling in the dark where no light can reach.
The Twilight Fleet
Composed out of smugglers, scavengers and pirates the Twilight Fleet is not a naval force in the more traditional sense. Instead of forcing the various individual ship crews to work together directly, the fleet mainly shares Intel over current positions, asteroids drifts and possible targets, allowing others to hunt more effectively. The Twilight Fleet almost never acts in a combined full force strike, rather using their shared Intel and individual ships to set traps and ambushes whenever possible, for blood, swag and booty. While some members of the fleet mainly raid and pillage, others set their focus on smuggling and trade, including the support of their pirate allies.
The Tainted Legion

Much alike the Twilight Fleet the Tainted Legion is far from traditional. Serving as the main ground forces of the Chorus, the Legion marches without banners, a seemingly independent band of marauders that share chaos and mischief among those they are tasked to raid and plunder. Instead of enlisting men and women as soldiers, the Legion is composed out of freelancers, bounty hunters, mercenaries and anyone else willing to raise their weapons as emissaries of death and destruction in the name of nameless, faceless force that waits within the dark.
The Runners Collective
Some people are born soldiers, some people are gifted businessmen, and some selected few have some far more unique talents. The Runners are the private field agents of the Chorus, a encrypted network where freelancers can pick up well paid high profile jobs. The options of the Collective do not stop there. Some jobs need more than one talented person, but a handful of highly skilled individuals that all have their part to play for the mission to be success. Not only networking, but the gathering of intelligence can be done by with the Collective, as paydata from previous runs can get posted and brought from every member, as well as from selected outsiders.
