The Tables have Turned

Metus joined his master as they disembarked, and listened to his words while trying to keep pace.

"Of course my master. Self-determination is what got me this far in life instead of a pathetic death, and training to become strong seems to be the way of the Sith. With or without a master."

Years of struggling to live on Coruscant taught him this lesson well, encouraging him to become physically dominating to earn credits and take what he wanted. The Sith seemed to demand such growth as well, but it would take time to learn the various lessons of the force since there were so many that required more than just brute force. Meditation and intense study were things Metus was not used to, and in even this small time the student has learned more than he ever would have continuing his life as a simple thug. It was smart of him to seek out the Sith, as the Jedi would have probably raised him as a weakling.

"And if this master of yours was but a simple stepping stone to your current position, why call him your master at all? He seemed to be more of a tool that you used for further training before being discarded."
