Lily couldn't believe it. She stood there stunned that Ala could be so wrapped up in her own emotions and pain that she completely ignored the fact that what had happened was a minor misunderstanding that could have been solved very simply. Instead, Ala burned a bridge. Pushed Lily past a line that the Echani could no longer just stand around and forgive. It had all become too much. The false accusations she faced when counselling caution about Quinn Varanin. The lies from Lorn and Zark, fellow council members, about how the meeting would be handled and then their belief that they had done the right approach. And now this. The Order had already been provably divided by Lorn, Zark and the others signing up for the crusade, Lily was just attempting to offer an olive branch to prevent further discourse.

To show that the doors were always open for those who wanted to seek help or talk without feeling judged. But Ala didn't seem to wish to recognise that. Clenching her fist, Lily felt the frustration as Ala walked off without even allowing Lily the chance to talk or explain her view or side. No, she had to stand there, get berated and say nothing. That wasn't the way that she was brought up, that wasn't the way that she saw how the Jedi should be. Something had been broken over the years, she knew it.

She knew that Kito Kito would be waiting for her but Lily could move. She was rooted to the spot and trying to process everything. Whispering a condemnation was not a sure fire way of preventing everyone from assuming the worst. Ala had left and then stormed back in to only talk to Lily. That was going to leave impressions, assumptions in everyone's mind. It would be ridiculous to assume nothing else.

"I am done." Lily muttered to herself, feeling a bitter exasperated sigh leave her body. The Echani sent a message to Kito I must leave and sort some things out. If you wish to come with me let me know, I will discuss more on what happened in private. A message sent through the Force to her Padawan before Lily walked back to her room.

There was much she had to do and much she had to figure out in the form of words.

The remaining arguments began to fizzle out into the quiet mountain air. There was little use in debating those who could only see the galaxy through the lens of ancient texts and political treaties. While fracturing the Order had never been Lorn's primary objective, the widening rift in the courtyard felt entirely inevitable. More and more of the gathered Jedi were aligning with the proactive approach, their silent resolve outweighing the vocal protests of the few who still hesitated. Soon enough, the impending tide of war would render all of these philosophical disagreements completely moot.

Turning back to the assembly of those who remained, Lorn gestured to the weathered structures surrounding them.

"You may use Shiraya's Rest as a sanctuary to stay, train, and become familiar with one another," Lorn announced, his voice carrying the heavy gravity of a frontline commander. "We will clear out the debris and make this outpost our temporary home between deployments. Prepare yourselves. The era of complacency is dead, and the true fight for the galaxy begins now."

Turning his back on the courtyard, Lorn signaled to Briana and Rik to follow him into the inner chambers of the structure. They had operations to plan, sectors to map, and a crusade to build from the ground up.
