• Appearance: The Sword of Kaine is a hulking figure, perpetually clad in matte black armor and outfitted with an entire arsenal of lethal weaponry. But beneath the armor is no living creature, at least not in the traditional biological sense. Wearing the armor of the Sword is an artificial humanoid, commonly referred to as a Human Replica Droid. The HRD's features are purposefully kept blank, no discernible facial features at all beneath their leering helmet. But, much like the armor it wore, the artificial body was only a shell, a vessel, for the true driving power behind the Sword.
  
  Safely secured within the HRD's chest cavity was a peculiar device of ancient origins, a Rakatan Mind Prison. This particular prison has been altered in that the minds trapped within it can influence the world around them through an interface matrix between the prison and the host HRD. The prison itself was roughly trapezoidal in dimensions, sitting somewhere between eight and ten inches in length from top to bottom, and four to five inches in width. The prison sat inside the HRD's chest, right where the heart would have been on an anatomically standard Human.
