- Description: The Stormborn are, a tradition of specialized warrior for Witches of Dathomir. They tend to lean into a very specific practice of magick, specializing in spells to defend and harm, but pulling inspiration from storms, ranging from massive winter storms, to summer hurricanes, and anything in between. Wearing light armor, they are able to move quickly and quietly while using their axes and spears to enhance their Force powers.
- Membership: Membership is given from all Witch clans who may wish to join these defenders, however they must undergo the Ritual of the Storm.
- Motives: This tradition of Witches provides them an approach to defend their clan, as well as become legionnaires if they so choose.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
An ancient tradition among clans that support this path, the Stormborn are Witches who have undergone the arduous Turbulence, a ceremony that elevates their Force connection and provides them with spells from ancient Dathomiri. The ceremony is a closely guided secret but does require much sacrifice from the future Stormborn, both physically, mentally, and spiritually. Spending close to a season in deep meditative study and connecting with the ancients of their clan. They learn spells of which even the elders are not aware.
The Stormborn tradition is always in the background, with a few popping up every generation, however in times of great threat to Dathomir, many more will arise, slowly gaining in number, and strength, like many storms, before being unleashed upon the enemies of the Witch Clans, to dissipate just as slowly, back into the ether.
Once their use to Dathomir is or is not over, surviving Stormborns have been known to take a ship and seek their fortunes in the galaxy, among small warlording groups and criminal organizations, to fighting in vast militaries, even alongside people who were once a threat to their clan.
