Skajin var Imret bought this vessel as a celebratory gift to himself after achieving the academic rank of Sava. It served as his personal transport on any number of entomological research expeditions and always brought him back safely. In recent years, many of his life's most challenging milestones took place aboard the ship: learning about the genocide of his homeworld, for example, and discovering his Force-sensitivity.
Since Skajin embraced his path as a killer of Draelvasier and protector of refugees, this ship has seen combat many times, usually in the sense of a fighting retreat. Skajin arranged for heavy modification to the shield generators, augmented the engines for quick getaways, and replaced the original laser cannons with a light turbolaser turret and an aft seismic charge launcher. Skajin transformed much of his home-away-from-home space into quarters for refugees and Kubaz commandos...and his beloved xenoentomological lab into a facility for dissecting the Draelvasier.
The vessel is named after the sleens — Force-attuned, dark-oriented, insectivorous, low-profile lizards native to Dagobah.
