Rebels With A Cause
As light returns to the Core Worlds in the form of the New Republic, many worlds abroad still exist in lawlessness or under tyranny. The First Order itself presses against former Alliance territory as it snakes through the core. The standard must rise and arms supplied to those willing to fight the good fight.To stand up for what one believes in is the torch which lights the way and rekindles the old morals in the hearts of warriors. Yet all movements are slow, they must start somewhere and are often snuffed out. Are these qualities, sought after by democracies and unions, inevitable?
Not without sacrifice.
The Starbirds are a single cell of mixed individuals with a similar goal in mind. To overthrow tyranny and bring freedom to not just the worlds of the fallen, but those that have resided in the iron grip for as long as can be remembered.
They exchange few numbers, no industrial backing, and no underworld connections for grit, tenacity, and heart.

This is half an interest check and half a faction ad. Rebel groups are by no means original, but I'd like to get one rolling and see about engaging with the factions at large with a few fun threads. The Starbirds are but a small cell, working to disrupt some of the operations of larger empires in single systems, while attempting to drum up support of locals and individuals abroad to grow their operations. They are by no means elite, the term rag-tag is more appropriate.
The focus of the Starbirds is on the beginnings of a rebellion, as well as creating a fun and classic rebel feeling. The roots which supply the trunk. Wherever it goes from here is up to the players involved.
The aim is to further the roleplay of members and factions which come in contact with the burgeoning cell.
