The Soul Saber was forged by Anak Darkstar to harness his hell spawn powers on Dathomir. The weapon is composed of basic saber componets, the hilt is crossguard and the crystal is a Tainted Night Sister Crystal that he retrieved from the planet.
The Soul Saber and Anak’s Soul are One, if the weapon is destroyed, he will return to The Void. For this reason he carefully crafted the hilt from a mixture of Beskar ore and Durasteel that he collected from a dead Mandalorian’s armor and had a Mando Forger caste the hilt.
At the pummel the hilt opens up to collect Ichor and souls, which makes the weapon vulnerable to damage.
