Darben had no idea what he was meant to expect from the answer to his question. The man, he had never mentioned again to Stardust. But, apparently Cynthia had been in the relationship with them. It was not the first he had heard of such a thing, yet still it surprised him. Even if he should have somewhat expected it, he knew Stardust and his relationship was...open, so to say. Yet, as Ca went on, Darben could feel his fist clenching. He recalled the memories. The pain the man caused after. That he could remember.

Ca calmed his mind when she spoke of him, directly. Of Darben, being a family man and hard working. "Wasn't always like that. But Star, she changed me. For the better...used to either be out drinking or passed out on the bed...what kind of father would I have been?" he asked, but that was more to himself. He had adopted Renla before meeting Stardust. And while Renla had been the joy of his life, if Stardust had never came along...

"Thank you. And I will be sure to never bring it up around her. I am sure she is just as fearsome as the Dragon herself." And he had seen the Dragon first hand.

Also Cynthia told me not to do that, invasion of privacy and all that.” The small holo projector began to float away from the window to a different spot in the room. “Either way you went through a rough patch and pulled through. Now I'm sure Star missed you from her time away and would like to be with you too.”

Cynthia never really understood any of the force stuff. She has never experienced it herself, actually only times she's witnessed it was others using the mystic powers. “Impressive.” She said imagining that it must've been a difficult task. “Well I know nothing of the force so that is a side of her I cannot nurture, but teaching her what I know about leadership, how to fight and the many ways to defend those who need it is something I can most definitely do.” The woman blush from Stars affectionate words making her smile lots. She would look around after a moment to see if she could see Ca. Mostly wondering if she was keeping out of trouble. There wasn't much the AI could do to get in trouble but it was somewhat like her and trouble followed usually. Just from perception she could just hear Darben talking in the other room but could exactly hear what was being said.

Maybe he was talking to his daughter or Ca, possibly even himself. Either way her attention snapped back to star again. “Well I'll say right now the new house on vanquo will be a few weeks till it's finished so if Darben is okay with it I could stay here. Get to know the kiddo and darben some. but once the house is done there will be room for all of us to go there. Might be able to move some of the stuff in the cargo bay of my ship into it too. Been getting things from all over… That reminds me. I'd like to go shopping at some point., I like to get something from every new world I go to. Something I've gotten into. I just think it's nice to have nice things that I can attach a story too. Also sure you and Darben can show me the sights.” The clear memory of this world would be one of the few that was a happy one.

Jesting as she chuckled at that thought of brigh forming a whole new clan. Musing on that thought she truely wondered which way brigh would go, would she be like her mother and travel the path of the force or would she go and become a mandalorian...time would tell indeed.

Darben Skirae felt...at least somewhat relieved to having heard that. That she didn't look him up or anything. If anything, it would not have news of his shady dealings before his time on Commenor. Dealing in the black market, not being as kind as he was now. But his daughters and Stardust had helped a lot to bring this new self about. "Stardust has helped me a lot...I was a lot different before Renla, before Stardust and Brigh. And it would be good to earn the trust of all of her allies, and friends." A lot more different.

Darben nodded in agreement. Yes, he should go back by now. "Yes...thank you." As he began to head back, he couldn't help but listen in. And smirking, he came around the corner. "Yes, you are welcome to stay!" he said, grinning at his wife. He wondered if he could trick her into thinking he had heard everything.
