[member="Zak Dymo"] if you would like to come on a trip are welcome

This was not something she did a lot of the time, Matsu stood on the exploration ship as several of the newest systems were being tested and she had a small smile on her face. The worlds she was bringing her padawans to were hanging in the map room created with the emitters while she looked them over. The small tea cup in her hands rising to her mouth as the recalled what had been happening recently and she popped her neck loosening some of the muscles.

Taking a sip while she saw the worlds they were setting up for, a training/camping trip to get to know all of her padawans better and she wanted them to get to know each other. Create a bond and friendship so they could work together to work on their own things while they were here in the unknown regions of the galaxy and going to a world that was covered in jungles and older ruins then most had seen. She was moving through the ship when they reached orbit.

"Alright I hope you are prepared padawans, make sure all of your equipment is ready and packed." She said it more with a small grin grabbing her satchel and belt while she moved. The different sabers on her hips and thighs, a small blaster for protection and now thanks to the work they had been doing healing cubes and crystals the padawans could charge for themselves. There was a look at the loaded ship while she was moving into it and letting them get in.

Heading down to the planet was a quick trip with not much room besides distributing tents for the padawans and sleeping bags they could use. She stood there before speaking when the shuttle touched down in a clearing of the jungle. "Welcome padawans to the Unknown regions of the galaxy, for some of you who have been with me you know expeditions in some of the older ruins showed more then just pre-republic artifacts."

Matsu was letting the door open while she stood in a light brown robe securing a small book on her belt. "Some of those me and other researchers tracked to here and other worlds." She let the shuttle doors hiss as they opened and slowly the smells of the dense jungle came with a rush of air while Matsu turned to motioned them forward with their packs. She held the one with the sonic emitters to keep animals away and with motion trackers.

"Come along and we'll set up a small camp and then we can begin training for each of you, these worlds have it all for the skills you have wanted to learn and practice. Might even find some ruins or special things should you wish to use it when your time comes to construct a lightsaber." SHe had another look on her face while going and touching lightly the damp trunk of a tree before starting to set up the sensor with minimal effort it could clamp on.

Note: there is no posting order, post when you like and can and we'll be practicing skills while also exploring. If you want to work on dev threads or stuff dor yourself feel free.

Xander grabbed his gear making sure everything was there before making his way towards the door. He stopped when a face he didn't recognized asked about the training.

Xander smiled clasping the man on the shoulder.

"What you have to understand about Master Ike here is the unknown part is the biggest part of the training." "Survive, adapt, and over come."

He chuckled letting go of the man's shoulder starting off behind Matsu. He called out behind him.

"Unconventional is the way she works.............guess you didn't get the same speeches the rest of us did." "No worries."

The small Nautolan sat on the floor of the shuttle.

A datapad was in his lap, containing several beginner's books on lightsaber construction. It may sound like a strange topic for a beginner's book, but younglings and padawans were introduced to lightsabers and, by extension, the electronics that went into them, at an early age. There was even a technical manual, written in a sort of 'for dummies' way.

A youngling's toolkit was nearby, as Master Ike had introduced the youngling to more detailed work than he'd done before. Now he was learning about tools and what they were used for, or with, or how to make things out of more complex materials than just paper and crayons. Not that he'd outgrown paper and crayons, as evidenced by the many myriad drawings and roughed-out sketches spread out before him. Each detailing a different idea of what his lightsaber would look like.

He needed to find out more about cyclical ignition pulses.

That was what allowed some lightsabers to operate in ocean environments. Which, after the disaster that had been the mission to Mon Cala, Zak definitely wanted a lightsaber that could go in the water with him.

As Master Ike spoke about pre-Republic and old stuff, and older and more older stuff, the Nautolan looked up and had to shield his eyes from the light flooding into the ship from the jungle world outside. Packing up his stuff into the small backpack that he'd brought, the small Nautolan came bounding from out of the shuttle just a few steps behind the two human brahs.

He was wearing his usual sleeveless tunic, without any sort of robe. He was still carrying [member="Nefertari Sovint"]'s training saber, as his own lightsaber was just an idea in his head at the moment. And not even a complete idea yet.

"This will be fun," Bellin said to himself under his breath.

He sighed.

There is no way this was going to be fun.

The young Rodian sat alone as the ship flew down towards the jungle planet. He didn't talk. He didn't move. He sat. Bellin was not surprised that Matsu had requested that all her Padawans go on an expedition together, her motherly tendencies and protective nature suggested that she view her students as her family. It was almost reassuring to have a real family for the first time in his life, but for some reason, he couldn't work up the courage to talk to anyone else. He closed his eyes and listened to the Force, if it wanted him to be this way, then there would be no reason to panic. Right?

His thoughts were disrupted by a small, unexpected period of turbulence.

He opened his eyes as his body swayed for a few seconds before normal flight speed came back to the ship. He shut his eyes again. Only a few minutes passed before they landed. Matsu spoke for a bit, then opened the door.

Heavy sunlight beat down on the front of the ship where he, a young Nautolan to his side, and two Human males were standing.

Their banter between each other made Bellin smile. He waited for the younger pupil to walk onto the surface, before slowly walking forward and stepping on the soil. The light from the sun was becoming unbearable, he put his right arm over his eyes to shield them from the rays.

He walked faster and caught up with the youngling, then whispered over to him:

"Do you have any ideas on what planet we're on?"

Orihime listened to the one speak about speeches and she had a grin on her face having had several of those.... Well usually daily but the teenager was standing at the ready while she was moving with her attention towards them. She had her crystal... well one of them, the gungan crystal they had found in the fountain had been an interesting thing as it seemed to make the training blade she used shift through the different shades of blue like the sea. She let her robes flow behind her as she spoke and was standing there for a moment with her long hair in a tight ponytail and bouncing a little.

"Oh just wait untl you hear the one about how a jedi should act in public." The girl and since she hadn't given her name stood there with her pack and satchel, then produced a bag of chocolate covered peanuts while she was walking. "Now come on, we get to go on an adventure." She looked at the others there and the little one she wasn't certain who he was but he was short like her... that made him cool while she offered some from the bag to Zak and nodded. "Those are nice sketches" She offered a smile crouching down a little bit but not to much. "I am Orihime."

The youngling looked up as he was addressed.

Standing beside him, and bending down slightly to speak to him, was a Rodian. The small Nautolan had decidedly immediately upon seeing the inhuman padawan that he liked him. To start with, it was nice that he wasn't the only non-human. Not that he minded humans or near-humans. But there were a LOT of human Jedi, so it was a little ostracizing to have bulbous, black eyes and head-tendrils instead of hair. Zak had two arms and two legs, with five fingers and toes, but he still didn't looked very human. Plus, the Rodian was green. And green people were inherently awesome.

It was a scientific fact.

Kit Fisto? He was Nautolan, you already knew brah was awesome. Yoda? Green and served up with awesomesauce on the side. Plus, Zak was green. And how much more awesome could you get?

That being said, it would be best to not mention Zak's grades in intergalactic geography. "Uhh, she said this was the Unknown Regions," the boy remarked hesitantly, as his eye swirls spun through the smoke-like darkness within his eyes as he scanned the unfamiliar looking landscape. Trees. Grass. Dirt. All very foreign to the swamp and ocean-inclined. Turning his head back up toward the Rodian, the boy asked, "Is that the same as Wild Space? Or is that somewhere different?"

And then there was Girl Jedi.

The Nautolan's nose wrinkled with skepticism as the near-human teen paused near him, his heightened sense of cooties and gender discrimination alert to the street soldiers of the Pink Side of the Force. But, as she held out what appeared to be candy, Zak immediately decided that this Girl Jedi might not be so bad.

She was still a girl, though.

"I'm Zak!" the boy chirped brightly, popping a chocolate peanut into his mouth.

Wild space. The final frontier. Going with Master Ike to seek out new life and new civilizations, these were the voyages of one hopeful Padawan.

Kal'n had checked, double-checked and triple checked his equipment. This wasn't his first trip with Master Matsu and he made sure that he had the essentials. Both of his lightsabers were hooked onto his belt, a datapad was in his hand and a surveillance droid hovered at had level.

He was having the droid double-check its own calibrations. If this was anything like the last trip than he would want to record what they found. He had remained silent for much of the trip; between the final touches on his gear, studying what little preliminary information there was, and asking questions of Master Ike Kal'n hadn't had a chance to introduce himself to his fellow Padawans. Though he had met some of them already.

After they touched down Kal'n sent the small spherical droid out and had survey the immediate area, scanning for any signs of life and more importantly, danger. Kal'n brought up the rear, datapad in his hand. He lightly touched the screen at various places, issuing the droid commands and seeing what it was seeing.

Xander chuckled at Orihime.

"Nope heard that one too." "Apparently saber whipping people is not how a Jedi should act." "In public or anywhere for that matter."

He laughed pushing forward just slightly ahead of the group. He didn't know what the planet had in store for them but they were not going to find out standing around the shuttle. Xander watched the droid survey the area. Xander chuckled looking back and Kal'n.

"Cheater."

His tone was light hearted even as his teased his fellow Padawan. Turning Xander walked backwards a few steps holding his arms out wide.

"Who needs droids when you have the force?"

Xander smiled before turning back around. It was a rhetorical question. Even though Master Whitelight had been teaching him to better use the force he still was not strong enough with it to pick up everything around him for more than ten feet or so with any accuracy.

Nef saw her padawan getting on with other youth, and that was something she didn't want to get in the way of.

The Nautolan still bore the training saber she had given him, that was grand. She thought back on some of the things that had happened before Zak had come to the Silver Jedi; they had been crazy, but hopefully learning experiences. [member="Matsu Ike"] had invited the knight of the Republic on this outing, and Nefertari felt it an honor. Well...technically, Nef had been knighted under a different faction, but that was another story for another time.

Three hilts were on the lady's belt. Of course she couldn't wield three lightsabers at once, but the weapon she had obtained on Tatooine with her apprentice and [member="Gherron Vael"] just stayed with her for some reason. She didn't really know why, the green blade when combined with one of her pink ones made it look like the countess was swinging around a deadly piece of watermelon. Still, it was a powerful blade, and it was here to stay.

Training in a place unknown...what could be better for honing one's skills than facing down an unknown challenge?

Ah they seemed to be getting along and breathing in the scent of the jungle while she was setting up an area. The sections for a fire pit and a section for tents while getting the emitters set up for their protection. She waited for a moment letting her daughter converse with some of them as she had a small grin on her face moving to watch them. Then waiting a little while more for them to get settled with their things, Matsu rose up as she was speaking motioning with her hands. "Well I am glad to see all of you finding a way to get along. It is great to have you all here padawans and guests. This is jedi knight Nefertari and her padawan. I invited them because well it is always good to have someone as help and support. THat is the goal of this little expedition, I want all of you to help and support each other. Some of you are guardians in training some healers, some explorers... but you are all jedi and part of something bigger. Now there are some things here you should be warned about, this world was once the home to a dangerous group that disappeared several thousand years ago.... Recently wihin the last few centuries it was home to a warlord but he has since disappeared so be careful and watch out for anything. If you all wish we can explore the opulant palace he created and see the aurodium and crystal throne."

"Is that the same as Wild Space? Or is that somewhere different?"

That was actually a difficult question.

Bellin knew a lot of things, he was praised for his memory of planets and languages, he was hailed for being a model student and great learner, but this..... this was a stumper. Bellin looked up and away from the Padawan, then spoke:

"I suppose that if there had to be a difference between the two, it would be that the Unknown Regions have been mapped out more than Wild Space."

He turned and looked back at the youngling.

"But I don't know for sure."

Suddenly, an older girl walked up to the two, Bellin had hear her talking with one of the the other Padawans earlier. She bent down, gave him some sort of candy bar, and told him her name was Orihime. In return, he revealed himself to be Zak.

Orihime and Zak.

He interrupted them by sticking out his hand to Zak, signaling a hand shake.

"Pleased to meet you Zak and Orihime, I'm Bellin, Bellin Wail."

Carona Totsari

It takes true strengh to turn the other cheek
And in the corner of the ground was the smallest - next to the traveling youngling, this time.

Carona was mute, so it was no surprise that she hadn't pipped up to anyone; but even if she was able to normally communicate, why would she? The introverted togruta had steadily inched away from the group, even when one brought out those chocolate covered nuts... beautiful nuts, delicious chocolate... although, she did enjoy dark chocolate more than milk chocolate. The right kinds of dark chocolate were actually loaded with health benefits!

Carona had many snacks of her own, bantha jerky and moonflower seeds (with the shells) just to name a few. Now she wished she had backed several bars of dark chocolate.

But moving on from the food.

Carona was miserable enough being surrounded by people (not that people were bad, although she never got along with other younglings in the past) but then another knight was joining them. Yeah, great, a teacher to yell at her if she slipped up once. Now, yes, she had come to even enjoy Master Ike's lessons and company. Thing was, it was rare for Carona to trust other teachers like she did Ike. Most teachers she met as a youngling wanted someone big and tough. Despite the incredible potential Carona saw in herself force wise, she was a bug. A teeny tiny bug. She was so lucky Matsu found her...

Being in a "troop" was nothing new, the telepathic togruta had been in millions as a youngling. Carona barely ever made friends in the troops, looking so underage and being so skinny (despite all those seconds she had at dessert.) Being so small, and obviously being a mute, she was either ignored or bullied in her past. Carona was not looking forward to a scenario like this again. Nope.

None the less, she was here to stay. The padawan would have to deal with it.

After he hadd made sure he packed all of the supplies he may need and extra encase something happened, Leon stood up from his bed and slung his back pack over his shoulder and walked down the stairs heading to the front door. He let out a sigh as eh cracked his neck and opened the door before leaving anbd walking into the sunlight where he waited for his new master to arrive and then head to wherever the feild trip was going to be heald at

“Cheating?” Kal’n mocked hurt, touching a hand to his heart. “You wound me Xander.” He chuckled and checked the screen one more time before slipping the datapad away, if it found something interesting it would send a message. “Besides, I find it useful to use all of the tools at my disposal in conjunction with the Force.”

“Of course, if it’s too complicated for you I understand.” There was no malice in Kal’n’s words, simply a good hearted jest. Of everyone here, other than Master Matsu, Kal’n knew Xander the best.

“Master Matsu, what sort of group? Do you have any other information on them?” Kal’n spoke as he looked for a place to sleep. He was checking the trees, looking for two that were strong enough and the right distance apart for him to put his one man tree-tent.

Kal’n noted that the other Padawans were introducing themselves and getting along fine. He felt, for a moment, that perhaps he should do the same. That thought was pushed aside and he decided it was more important to get the camp set-up, there was work to be done. There’d be time for introductions later.

Orihime looked at Belin as she bowed her head and stood there to her full height. "Hello. Bellin." She was watching what happened as her mother spoke with a small grin appearing on her face. She had some ideas of what they could do and eating another piece of chocolate covered peanuts... well she had her tent and opened it. Her utility belt with equipment as she was thinking about where they could go and what she could find liking the idea of the throne. "Oh that sounds fun." Seeing the others and she saw Carona with a smile and wave of her hand while she spoke into the force like her mother had told her. 'Hey' She offered the bag to her while opening her pack. 'Got the most important part of camping.' She had chocolate and crackers with marshmellows. 'Late night treats.'

Matsu looked at Kal'n as he asked and she spoke. "The original group are not really known, from the time period it might be the ones who constructed the Kooloon temple sites across the galaxy or the Old city on Tython." But she wasn't certain while looking at her padawan's and spoke while she walked over to find the newest ones. "Come come padawan Daraphix we are over here. You have a tent and sleeping bag ready if not there are tents you can share and I will be showing you what we can all do as a group." She motioned him around the camp while getting a look on her face at Carona. She had had a chance to see some of her padawan's skills and the girls lack of self confidence which wasn't a great thing. She believed in the padawan and she believed in her skills while taking a seat around the fire pit as her hands came out. Raising up walls of solid earth with shaping while she brought the pit down a little deeper, a flame sparking in the center to create a fire while the small grating was balanced and placed for them to use to cook food and dessert. 'Carona, don't over think it my padawan the only one who will be judging you is me and you cannot do wrong while you are learning.... besides who else am I going to show what I found on my latest journey?'

Taking the Rodian's hand, the Nautolan shook it.

Taking a step back, the youngling pointed over toward a brunette human woman. "That's my master," the boy stated proudly to the Rodian and near-human padawan. "Her name is [member="Nefertari Sovint"], but everyone calls her Master Neffy."

Okay, so technically there was supposed to be a lot more to it than that. The Countess Nefertari Sovint of Rosedge, Jedi Knight of Chandrila. Or something like that. S-3DO wasn't here and Zak was about to get back into the page-boy herald poodoo that Master Neffy had put him through during the Jedi Shadow mission. And not just any Jedi Shadow mission either. Tapestries. As in, fancy curtains. They put their lives on the line -- and, worst of all, put Zak in worst children's clothing EVER -- for curtains.

Tenel looked around as she stepped out of her tent, skeptical of how safe this location was. She trusted Matsu, but given the circumstances she was in, she could never be too sure. Having a connection to the Hutt Cartel meant she had enemies around every corner, even in remote locations like this.

She didn't recognize any of the people who had traveled there with them and she prayed none of them would recognize her either. Considering the frequent leaves of absence she had been taking for Cartel business, she didn't expect them to.

She walked over to where Matsu was standing and leaned against a nearby tree, listening into her fellow padawans' conversations and deciding against jumping in.
