- What is the Brotherhood?
A brand new Sith group with the emphasis on exactly that, new. It's a full on experiment to see just what happens with a group of Sith come together where none of their past pedigree, accomplishments, or history matters. What does? What you do as the Faction grows. Force User or not. The idea is to make a place for people who might not want to try a Sith with the sheer amount of past so many Sith organizations have and a place to start fresh and new for those who want to start over.
- What do you mean Force User or not?
Exactly that. Knowledge and accomplishment is what matters to the Brotherhood. What you do for the organization, what you help the Brotherhood learn or do, that sort of thing will end up determining what level of influence you have in the group.
- Influence? What's the leadership?
There is no real leadership yet, and that's the point! These first threads are all about showing which characters people flock to for leadership in character. It'll be a council, but who you support or if you try to get your own support is totally your choice.
- What if I don't really know how to write a Sith?
That's also the point! Some folks will just know more, but with the group being about sharing knowledge and making Sith stronger together, it's a good place to learn more.
- What makes this different from other Sith groups?
Unionizing. Rather than rallying behind a center figure or group, the 'leadership' will be flexible and ever changing. Activity is what pushes someone into the council/leadership so there's always an active figure that doesn't rely on just one or two people. Will Sith fight? Always, but it won't be as blunt as killing and destroying each other.
- Why would a Sith join this? Why would a nonsith join this?
They're tired of infighting. They have a desire for knowledge but don't care for trickery. They're crazy and it doesn't matter one way or another to them.
- Is there a system for accolades or trials?
Not at all! Activity is what will push anything forward, and whatever the story is you write is what will end up deciding what a trial or an accolade would be. Write with people, have fun, and the rest will form itself.
