The Silver Invitation (Connor Harrison)

Hearing out his whole speech made Yura realize how serious [member="Connor Harrison"] was about his order and his work. Good. At least she knew there were those like him in this order of Silver Jedi who were committed to protecting people like Jedi apparently were supposed to. His whole talk of how dangerous the Sith were, something else she didn't know about, was also a little moving. If there were those like her who used their power for evil then there had to be people like her willing to step in and stop them. It had sounded as though Conner was trying to make sure Yura knew what she was walking into, but she already knew this was the right choice. And she always did whatever possible to make the right choices.
"I don't think I'd regret any of it. If you and the Jedi are going to help keep people safe from bad people, then I'm going too. I want to make sure my family and everyone else is safe. It's one of the best choices anyone like me could ever make."

Nodding in approval, Connor indicated the mansion through the woods, and the tree where Angelica remained.

”We don’t police the galaxy and tell people how to live their lives, but if we see potential and greatness then we’d be stupid to ignore it if we can make use of it, as I have done with you now.”

They walked back towards the tree-house.

”My transport is suitable for two, and I am ready when you are. Do you need time with the family, and Angelica? She’s going to miss you, remember that. If you don’t feel you are ready to leave then I do understand. I can wait outside for you when you’re ready if you wish?”

With [member="Connor Harrison"] mentioning it Yura looked back to both the mansion and then the tree house. She could see Angelica still peaking out and looking, giving Yura sad face when she could tell her friend knew something was wrong. She sighed before looking back to the mansion, seeing Mr. and Mrs. Fontaint having come out and looking out to see everyone; apparently hearing both the commotion and then wondering what was taking everyone so long.
She looked back to Conner and said "Yes. Let me just have a moment with y family. I won't be long."
The first thing she did was go to speak with Angelica. She escorted Conner back to the tree house to wait until she was done. Hopefully she wouldn't be too long. There would be a bit of a talk on how since Yura was the special one it was bound to happen, but as far as she was concerned Angelica was special to her. A little more convincing and the like to make sure she knew that Yura wasn't leaving her for any bad reason. However there was something else that Conner would see.
As Yura needed to climb up into the tree house her skirt wouldn't exactly hide everything. There'd be a brief moment where Conner would be able to see everything. But seeing that would also give him a great revelation about Yura. She was a man.

Knowing he would never see the Fontaine family again, Connor stood by the tree and let Yura take over. It wasn’t his place to tell them that was happening – he had made it clear why he was here, and for some reason he expected they would be happier for the maid to leave for a life away from Alderaan rather than their own daughter.

Glancing up at the tree to give a little wave to Angelica, ever so curious, Connor simply raised his brow slightly and brought his head back down. He smiled a little to himself, out of wonderful embarrassment. It seemed Yura wasn’t quite what…she…he…seemed?

However, this wasn’t an issue for Connor – he was not one to judge, to question or press about an individual’s sexual preference and choice of lifestyle. Yura’s heart was in the right place; however it would be worth mentioning if pressed for her emotional state and confidence as a Jedi, so nothing would hold her back and prove to be her kink that, if exposed, could push her the wrong way.

After a day of long goodbyes to the rest of the Fontaine family Yura was ready. All she had packed with her was a suitcase worth of things she wanted to bring, though apparently she wasn't opposed to staying dressed as a maid. Her excuse was "Jedi sound like servants of peace. And since I'm already a made, I guess it already counts." Despite the logic behind that Yura was still comfortable how she dresses, as with everything else in her life. In the end she was standing out front of the Fontaine mansion and waving goodbye to everyone before turning back to [member="Connor Harrison"] and nodding that she was ready.

Watching Yura say her goodbyes, Connor had given his word whilst she was packing he would take care of the girl, to watch over her and ensure she was protected from the dangers beyond the safety of mansion walls.

As she was finished, Connor turned with her and placed and hand on her shoulder.

”You’ve taken your first step into a much larger world. I’ll get you to Voss, get you settled and introduced and then we begin your adventure.”

He turned and smiled.

”I think you’re going to be a great asset to the Silver Jedi, and I look forward to seeing you flourish.”

Yura's confidence was boosted by his words. As she followed him and would eventually leave the planet Alderaan she would keep a pleasant smile and an open mind. Things were changing and that was what she liked to know. If time was coming for change she was ready for it. But she would never forget them. She would never let the memory of the Fontaines, her family, leave her. They'd stay with her through thick and thin, the good the bad, and so on. They would be her drive to continue down this path. That was her promise to them. She would become a Jedi, and she would do so proudly.
