  • Turn on a Dime: Though she may not look it, the Sgiath was an extremely well-tuned and well-loved machine and built to make the snap turns required to fly in Pamarthe's rock races. Though long since its martial prime, in the right hands the Sgiath could outfly most military interceptors.
  • Weak Armor: A solid ion blast or even a military-grade handheld blaster can shoot this thing out of the sky with its shields down
  • Weak shields: Even a handheld military-grade ion rifle can deplete this vessel's shields. It only takes a few shots to completely slag this ugly ship.
Starting its life as a vessel in the service of the Outer Planets Alliance Free Navy, the long since retired vessel made its way onto Pamarthe long before the OPA fell apart and was the main family ship of the Senn household for some time. Endless tinkering eventually made the craft into its current state, a classic Pamarthen Cutter. Built for speed and maneuverability for friendly races and the occasional market run, the small privately-owned fighter dubbed the Sgiath by the Senn family had two seats. The second seat was mostly a passenger seat but had controls for the ship's gimbal-mounted rotary laser cannon which, while up to military standards, was more or less the only weapon on the vessel outside of its single concussion missile launcher. It wasn't meant to fight off pirates but could fly and sortie with the Pamarthen local defense militia if need be even if the Senn's military flying days were long over.

The vessel was most often used by farmhands who needed to fly to one of the far off island markets for something the homestead needed for the farm or occasionally for farmhand family trips if they didn't have a ship of their own. Ultimately Mikael Senn, the patriarch of the Senn family, intended for the vessel to go to his daughter, Thalia Senn, before she ran away from home to join the Jedi Order. It was even the vessel she learned to fly in, spending countless hours over the years in the air behind the stick with her father or mother or some other farmhand guiding her along. It wasn't much, but it was their ship and it did almost everything.

Lovely submission, very flavourful. For future reference, the Manufacturer should be linked to your bio, but that is a very minor issue in the grand scheme of things; I'll therefore be approving this as is. Enjoy.
