Percival Io
Missionary Man

- A gemstone which changes color in the presence of any individual, object, or entity who means the wearer harm
- Danger Detector: When in the presence of a malevolent individual, the gem will "sense" their evil intentions and change color from pure white to black, alerting the wearer (and everyone else who can see the gem) of the danger the individual poses.
- From a Certain Point of View: While it is usually Dark Siders seeking to do evil, the gemstone isn't a Dark Side detector; it will not change color if the person in question doesn't explicitly intend to harm the wearer. This is because of the imbuement of the gem, which was intended to be quite specific in alerting the wearer of danger. If the intentions of the person are muddled or uncertain (as in, they aren't sure of their own desires toward the wearer) then the gemstone will not change color.
- Force Voids: Exposure to Force-nulling matter such as ysalamiri or void stone will render its effects inert, reducing it to merely a pretty piece of jewelry.
- Fragile: The gem is fragile and breakable. If it falls from a great enough height or sustains a strong blow, it will shatter.
Discovered among the treasures of Khemost, these seven pendant necklaces are constructed from druzy quartz imbued with the Force. When in the presence of a person or thing who desires to do evil to the wearer, the gem dramatically changes color from milky white to inky black.
Archeological evidence points to the seven necklaces having been constructed by Lavinia Stormborn (hologram pictured right), a Witch of Dathomir who lived during the Gulag Era. As Lavinia is virtually unknown outside of Dathomir, where she played a relatively minor role in the history of the Singing Mountain Clan, it is unclear how the necklaces ended up on Khemost. The most popular theory is that Lavinia at some point had an encounter with the notoriously greedy Darth Mammon, who may have taken the necklaces as loot after defeating the Dathomirian in battle.
The pendants, dubbed "The Seven Sins" by the archaeologists who first discovered them, were "lost" during the House Io Civil War. Their current whereabouts are unknown, but they were most likely confiscated by members of the rebel group known as the Doves. At least one of the necklaces has been accounted for, having been given to Thel Hahn by Percival Io along with other treasures looted during the battle for Khemost.
