Name: Serin(Darkhounds)
Biology: The Serin were bred, created, and forged by Moridin and the technicians within his lab over the course of the 400 years where the galaxy was consumed by the plague. The beasts were created using the baseline hounds known as Howlrunners. From there they were selectively bred through a number of years to have the traits that Moridin wanted. Eventually only the strongest, largest, and most powerful of the Howlrunners remained. These subjects were then tainted with Moridin's own deathly essence. Each one was injected and fused with a piece of one of his artifacts. This corruption twisted them, broke them, and transformed them into the Serin a completely new species wrapped in the power of the Darkside of the force. The Serin resemble their cousins the Howlrunners quite fervently, although they are quite different in a few ways. The start of these differences is their ability to hunt with the darkside of the force(much like Vornskr), they are also stronger, and faster than regular Howlrunner's. The Serin's mouth's and claws also drips with an intensely deadly poison, it is not exactly known what the poison consists of although it is known that just a few drops is enough to paralyze if not kill a full grown human male. Along with these traits the Serin are also capable of “disappearing” with the use of the force shrouding themselves within the darkside and blending in with surrounding darkness.
Sentience: Non-sentient(Intelligence level of a Clever dog)
Strengths: The Serin are fast and strong seeped in the corruption of the darkside they make the perfect servants. They are also completely loyal to Moridin and Moridin alone.
Weakness: The same thing that makes The Serin such great servants also makes them quite easy to kill. The Darkhounds can hardly think for themselves and are often unable to figure out even simple problems, Also because of their nature The Serin are intensely susceptible to the lightside of the force.
Diet: The Serin are entirely Carniverous finding Force Sensetive beings to be the most apetizing for some reason.
Behavior/Temperament: Serin are entirely violent. Their whole nature means they will constantly fight with not only one another but anything they see(unless ordered to do otherwise). The only times they are docile are when they are around their Master.
Communication: The Serin when on the hunt communicate with one another through a series of barks, growls, howls, and body signals. When not on the hunt Moridin speaks to the Serin through verbal commands and influences of the darkside of the force upon their minds. This also allows Moridin to manipulate the creatures from afar.
Planet: The Serin exist within the labs of Byss, and no where else. They are an artificial species and do not dwell in the wild.
Culture: No they’re dogs.
Technology: n/a
History: As of yet the Serin have no history. The Darkhounds were born in labratory's and dungeons on Byss, forged by the Dreadlord to be the perfect pets for his future. There they have been sitting within stasis pods, waiting for their master to wake them up and bring them back into the darkness of his presence. Since Moridin has just awoken, the beasts will now begin to appear.
Intent: The Serin will be Moridin's pets, they will appear as NPC's beside him in most threads and in some threads will serve as assassins(if requested). Basically they are a new Sithspawn I want to introduce as the other one's didn't really...fit.

Yes i know, but Tuk'ata have a certain level of sentients(says so in the wookiee) and they don't have poisonous fangs/claws. If you like i can change the Serin from a subspecies of Howlrunners to a subspecies of Tuk'ata?
