PREMISE:

It is day five of your stay at "The Fort". Some weeks ago you were invited to the Second Convocation of Sojourn: an annual event where mega-capitalists, entrepreneurs, politicians, and criminals come together to discuss business while enjoying the finer things in life. Away from the prying eyes of would-be adversaries and the scrutiny of others the galactic elite convene upon a moon at a secret gathering to join the company of those that they ordinarily would avoid. The event has offered a wide array and variety of dishes from over a thousand star systems; entertainment in the form of gambling, or blood sports; and you have even participated in several excursions into the nearby forest to hunt local game.

Your hostess-- an enigmatic individual known only as Her -- has now invited you to attend a meeting to discuss a new opportunity that has arisen in the wake of the PLANETSHIFT. Galactic hyperlanes and trade routes are in disarray. Star systems and entire worlds have been relocated. Star sectors are set to be redrawn. The subsequent disruption to commerce across the galaxy has invited catastrophe but to those who possess a keen eye can see the potential of a new burgeoning market. You have been proposed to join a new conglomerate which shall call itself THE INTERGALACTIC SPACING GUILD with designs to shape new lanes of trade and commerce in the affect regions of the known galaxy.

In order to facilitate this venture the right pockets will need to be greased, minds swayed and the backing of the corporate elite will have to be acquired. Control the trade lanes and with it comes an abundance of wealth, influence and power among the galactic powers. The galaxy remains your oyster . . .

With the conclusion of The Sundering Dawn event I have now elected to go ahead with this thread which I proposed back in March. I have restyled the premise and ideas for meeting to make for a better more localised story for all participants. Looking for all corpo, politician and criminal characters to participate. ♥

Unfortunately lack of interest this month means I will have to cancel this public thread. Unfortunate timing back in March and my desire to try and participate in TSD first probably meant that the people who showed interest earlier this year had been lost.
