STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Strength: Skilled combatant, especially in close quarters. Partly thanks to his extensive time by himself he spends a great deal of his free time training his own combat endurance and stamina. A'Runda is also a skilled marksmen, learning from how to handle ranged combat from the Tuskens.

Strength: Clever, often using his extensive and surprising adaptability in situations to over come challenges he faces on his own. Spending extensive time developing rather unique and practical solutions to the problems he faces.

Strength: Disciplined, this almost feels like it should go without saying. One doesn't live their whole life virtually clothed head to toe every day and not have at least a great deal of self control. Because of this he has maintained a great deal of resistance to the corruption of the Dark Side. The temptation of it never fully managing to get a grasp on him.

Trait: Shi-Cho Specialist: A'Runda Utilizes the first form of lightsaber combat. The simple broad motions and attack patterns carrying over well from his tribal fighting style as a tusken, especially with a double-bladed lightsaber, using direct fluid movements in his fights. The style carrying well when dealing with multiple opponents. Being a rather emotionally charged fighting style it could be seen as a Proto-Juyo but much more raw and less refined. More of an unknowing side effect rather than something intentional.

Weakness: Ignorant to many things, given his very local background with his clan. This often applies to things like much of galactic history, social norms, and basic technical knowhow. A'Runda is something of a fish out of water. Also even though he's quite fluent in Galactic Basic and competent in Huttese, he still has trouble a fair amount of words, and has a generally hard time with reading and writing.

Weakness: Limited Force Abilities, despite being aware of his sensitivity to The Force he has never been too great at using some the signature universal powers, Telekinesis ect. Most of his abilities are focused inwards on his body and improving his physical and mental feats. This is partly because A'Runda has never been properly trained.

Weakness: Not Tech Savy, naturally growing up on in a tribal society with the most sophisticated technology being a bolt action rifle A'Runda is not very good with technology and mechanics. Especially when it comes to computers. Thus when it comes to flying and maintaining ships he is rather dependent on more proficient droids.

APPEARANCE: A'Runda has through his life has lost a good deal of his muscular and athletic body. Over time becoming more lanky. Even with much of his tusken heritage seemingly behind him he still keeps himself considerably concealed with garments. His features are rather weathered, for his age. Half his face being marked with tattoos from his tribal life. Typically wearing a long flowing overcoat and wide brimmed hat.

Early Years

BIOGRAPHY: As an infant his parents moister farm was raided by the Tuskens. He never knew his parents or what they were like. This fact about himself being a great mystery he'll very likely never know the answer to. Being only a baby, and out of sympathy, the Tusken Raiders adopted him in to their clan of Rok'urkus, and named him A'Runda, after his adoptive father Runda. In a tightly knit clan, he would grow up with them. Being taught their language, culture, and customs. At the age of 15, into the path of adulthood he killed his first Krayt Dragon with his own gaderffii stick.

It was a long hunt, and one that he had to do alone. Methodically tracking down one of the various beasts to its own layer. There he fought the dragon on his own. A horribly dangerous task but was pivotal in proving himself worthy as an adult tusken and member his clan. Unknowing in the passion filled thrill of life threatening battle he channeled the force through himself and his gaffi stick. Being able to brutally slay the beast with supernatural ferocity. After the fight A'Runda was overcome with mixed emotions. Part of him thrilled that he could prove himself. However, the way in which he did it frightened him. As if he didn't feel like himself when he did it. Afterwards he gutted the beast and found a small gem within it. A legendary
krayt dragon pearl. However, he sensed something greater about it. Like there was a connection between himself and the crimson orb. Nonetheless he returned back home to his clan a victorious young man. (A'Runda would later find out that his pearl contained a rare kyber crystal within it.)

Not long after his force sensitivity was becoming apparent. His clan grew worried, making him more of an outcast. The clan elders spoke of the force as a mysterious power given to only a few, something that has given misery to clans in the past. They spoke of a demon in black, from the stars, with a bright red blade that was said to possessed the same power. They feared there was a prophecy that link A'Runda to the ancient tails of the demon from the stars, that it was very likely his destiny. Because of this, A'Runda didn't have much time left with the clan. Not much longer he left the his clan at a rather young age, where both his clan and him figured it was for the best. For A'Runda he didn't want harm to come to his clan and family, especially if it came from his own hands.

The Lone Tusken (WIP)

Quickly, A'Runda had to learn how to survive in the outside world. Spending much of his days on tatooine. Learning the new customs of the galaxy. He was fascinated with how much more there was outside of his small clan. Yet would never forget his background and who he was. He was a Tusken Raider. But over the years as he searched for answers to his force powers he grew more and more upset and frustrated. Experiencing a lot of grief for leaving his tribe. Yet he was determined to ward off what he saw as the "demonic" nature of the darkside. With the aid of the other local people of Tatooine, the Jawas, a much less hostile species they helped A'Runda better understand life outside of his tribe. In exchange as an athletic warrior he offered the diminutive people his muscles. Through the Jawas, A'Runda was able to befriend an old protocol droid. Which greatly aided in A'Runda being able to learn new things, primarily language. Also helping in reading and writing things for the tusken, offering him much more opportunities in his life.

Eventually A'Runda's presence went noticed by a stranger when he was visiting one of the more urban settlements on Tatooine. The individual sensed the young man's connection to The Force and offered to take him under his wing. Seeing this as his golden opportunity, A'Runda eagerly accepted. Coming to learn his mentor was of a niche order of force adepts, The Warden of the Sky. Through them he was able to learn a good deal of the fundamentals of space travel, navigation. The Force was something of a secondary aspect for him. But A'Runda was taught some in history and philosophy and the importance of using The Force responsibly, unless it were to be his undoing. Learning the basics of the lightside and the dangers of the darkside.

However, most tragically A'Runda's apprenticeship was short lived before he could get that far into his training. His mentor having been slain by pirates during a bloody boarding action. Cutting his lessons short and relegating him as woefully untrained. The only solace being that A'Runda had his mentors old journal passed down to him. Which proved invaluable to him in the long run in warding off the easy seduction of the darkside.

Equipment:

A doubled bladed lightsaber. Ignited it creating an unstable bright white blade, the condition being produced from a rough unpolished dragon pearl. The blade itself also produced a howling noise.

I'll look forwards to possibly an encounter with you as well. However, over the years I've developed strong attachments, it would be very difficult to let go of them.[/div]

Well-made OC. I'm notorious for not putting as much detail in character backgrounds as opposed to my few official posts... You've easily outdone me, and crafted a very memorable Tusken character, at that!

I especially love the use of the Krayt dragon pearl in the crafting of a lightsaber. Very creative and just plain fun to imagine. Should she encounter him in the Rebellion era, I wonder how he and my Bothan folklorist of Jedi would get along? So many fun things to imagine.

Happy Creating and roleplaying, good Sir! It was a pleasure to read of your creation, and thanks for taking the time to share him with the rest of us!
