The Right Thing

The Pantoran Admiral had purchased what he wanted some days ago. Now, he had to go to a meeting to see about this ship, as well as for other projects as well. It seemed that Krayzen Dratos- the original founder of the project had taken a leave of absence. Malos was still in contact with him, but Malos was now the second in command, or at least the de-facto head of the project, something that he liked.

Knowing General Dratos better than most people allowed him to be able to know what he would do, and in the unfortunate case that Krayzen could not continue the project he founded, Malos Kas knew he would be the one to take over; he had been a major contributor to all of the designs that had been produced in the "Iron War" Project; furthermore, he had also made some innovative designs as well, and this one would be the latest.

"We are about to leave to Coruscant."

"Excellent; I will get my stuff ready." he stated.

Malos then went to his office, and got his datapad. He made sure to get his new SK2 Ripper, a design created by General Dratos. He practically used the designs that were created by the Anzati General, and he could not deny that his designs had allowed the One Sith to improve in terms of military technology. Malos however also knew that without good hands, technology that could change the galaxy was useless.

The Pantoran knew the One Sith Navy was a powerful force, and it had various veterans. Archaic designs were somewhat common. With the momentum the One Sith had however, Malos planned on asking for some designs to begin the phasing process immediately in order to put in more military resources that could be dedicated to build new starfighters. The Ephicanthix/Pantoran Captain knew that this design was a first among the One Sith, and that was why he hoped this starfighter could help the One Sith militarily speaking.

"Sir, the shuttle is here!"Malos' assistance stated.

"Give me a second!" Malos replied.

Finally, I found it.

Malos then began walking out of his room, going to the hangar.

Malos then walked out of his office, and he went to the hangar. He so two One Sith Landspeeders, and he thought about riding one of his own designs for once, but he decided not to since he knew this was not the appropriate space. The speeders were now commonly used in the One Sith Navy, and Malos was going to build a starfighter that was commonly used somewhat in the One Sith Navy, but it wouldn't be mass produced.

Soon, Malos arrived at the hangar, and it was here that he would prepare to leave soon.

"Sir, your shuttle is ready; all proper channels have been contacted to inform you of your arrival, including the defense fleet here, and on Coruscant, and so on."

"Excellent; I shall go to the shutlte then."

Malos then went to the shuttle, the One Sith Captain entering the shuttle via the exit hatch. He then went to sit down next to a chair, belting himself up despite knowing the inertial compensators would help protect him from inertia. Malos really didn't care though, as always wanted to have more than one safeguard wherever he went.

"Preparing to leave the hangar." the pilot stated, as he activated the engines.

The pilot then converted more power to the engines, and the hangar doors began to open, the ship floating in the air. When the hangar doors had opened fully, Malos so the pilot convert more auxillary power to the engines, and the shuttle went much more quickly in an upward vector.

Soon, it left the orbit/gravity well of the planet, and as it left the gravity well of the planet, Malos passed the flagship of the Captain that guarded this planet with a defense fleet. Malos felt that he was close to the rank of Admiral, and he knew that this design would propel himself even further to that rank. He would get to control more ships, and have more resources; with more resources came more designs. It also allowed him to have more independence, meaning he didn't have to go through idiotic Sith Lords, or Knights who thought themselves to be the next big thing.

"Preparing to jump to hyperspace in 3...2...1.."

The future Commodore so Coruscant. He thought about moving his company there, but he knew that the planet would become a land of devastation if the One Sith fell. Thoughts about the One Sith falling started to flood his mind, Malos remembering the terrible dream that he had. He never liked that dream, but he knew some positive things had come out of it. Firstly, he knew that he was much more loyal to the One Sith than all the factions he had served in. Secondly speaking, his desire to make the One Sith survive had made him much more productive at his work, and that was good for the One Sith, as Malos held a key position in the overall military structure.

"Sir, we have arrived at Coruscant. Adjusting trajectory in order to approach the hangar."

Malos didn't respond. There were times for no reason he found the pilot telling him what he was doing to be annoying, but he knew that it was all for the best. The One Sith Captain however knew how to operate a ship very well, and that was why he kept a vigilant eye, despite liking the pilot. In the land of war, you never knew who could betray you, or when it could happen.

Malos so the ship descend on Coruscant. After a few seconds, the hangar was within visual sight, and Malos so the ship continue to descend toward the hangar. Slowly, but surely, the ship hangars opened, and the pilot of Malos' shuttle stopped moving the ship in any manner except in a downward vector in order for the ship to touch the floor, and land in the hangar.

The Captain then left the shuttle, via the exit hatch, and nodded at General Dratos' soldiers.

"Welcome again to Coruscant Captain Kas."

"Thank you commander. General Dratos offers his greetings."

"Thank you for that Captain; my men are here to escort you to the building immediately."

"Yes sir." Malos stated.

After leaving the exit hatch of the ship, Malos so two of his own speeders, his own designs. Despite, as stated before, having been a major influential factor, and technically designing the other designs with his other OS designers, the One Sith Captain knew design was something that he had done most of the work with, and that was why he felt it was his own design.

Before moving, he pressed a button, and two shields appeared, both particle shields. The shields were in the rear, and aft sections of the speeder. Despite it being vunreable to flanking attacks, it had excellent defenses, including an active protection system. Malos had another idea for that system. He made sure to make a mental note of it, as he would use it later.

Malos then pushed the throttle, travelling the speeds of 350 km/h. The Captain of the One Sith smirked, mostly because he was proud of his design. It seemed every time he was near General Dratos, or had conversed with him, he would get slightly arrogant. While Malos had loyalty to General Dratos, and deeply respected him, he did not want to emulate his personality, but his own; Malos was his own man, and he wanted to make sure it stay that way.

"We are about to reach the building." Malos stated

The One Sith Captain examined the drivers that did not know how to drive. He also pityed those that lived in the underworld because of the crime that was prevelant there. When the Galactic Republic ruled this planet, indepedent repotrs suggested they were sloppy in dealing with crime in the underworld,as well as health isues. Malos helped make sure that that wouldn't happen here, and that was why he supported the security forces here, since they fought for One Sith stability like Malos.

It seemed a new faction among the One Sith calling themselves the One Sith Inquisition had come out in order to fight off stability; Malos had heard that they had come off in the awke of the death of the Dark Lord of the Sith's death, when the 501st, and the military had failed to protect the Dark Lord of The Sith. Despite recognizing the faults, Malos did not like the One Sith Inquisition; he believed them to be a destabilized force that needed regulation, like the rest of the military.

Most importantly however, the One Sith Captain did not like the fact that they had the largest independent fleet in the One Sith(but the One Sith Navy was still the largest). He did not believe that it was necessary, and the One Sith Captain knew that there was some rivalry going on between both factions; another more secret motivation for him developing weapons was because he wanted to make sure the One Sith Navy was in top shape in order to make sure they had the advantage.

"We have one more minute till we arrive there." Malos stated., talking to the soldiers that escorted him via comms.

That one minute made him thnik about Isamu Baelor, and his military forces. He knew what General Dratos felt about the One Sith Inquisition, and the Anzati powerhouse had informed him that he had told [member="Darth Erebos"] about it on one occassion. Nevertheless, the Sith Lord, and future One Sith Admiral didn't really care at all. If Isamu Baelor didn't like the Inquisition, Malos would be slightly releaved.

"We have arrived at the building." Malos stated, coming out of his speeder.

After exiting his speeder, Malos went to the entrance of the building, where he o scientists working on what was going on. The non force sensitive then so the commander, and motioned the commander to come. Malos then so the commander tell someone that he would return soon, and he also the equipment of the One Sith soldier that guarded this base.

"Captain Kas, you requested to see me."

"Yes commander; I just have a simple question for you."

"What is the question captain?"

"The question is simple: have there been any illegal transfers of information, a scientist becoming a traitor, or any hostile even that has occurred?" Malos stated.

"No sir, none of that has happened. The way you left this building the way it's people were is the same way you will find it Captain Kas.

"Excellent. General Dratos wishes to offer you a promotion to Warrant Officer; will you except."

The man then blushed, something that Malos could see due to his cybernetics; the man accepted, and he looked happy despite having a helmet one.

"Good; he has also ordered that you pick one person from your squad to replace you, and he will support you in your decision to promote them."

"Thank you for relaying the message Captain Kas.'

'Your welcome."

Malos then went to the building that hosted the Iron War Project, and he began to see some new designs; he then remembered that his Teta-Class Independent Stations were beginning to be produced as he spoke. His monitoring station was something that made Malos proud, since they would now be warned much more quickly by Galactic Republic, or Galactic Alliance attacks. He had heard the alliance had been creating new ships, so Malos planned on creating new ships as well in order to much GR ships, and Galactic Alliance ships.

"Where is the head scientist." Malos asked an assistance.

"He is in the meeting room sir."

"Thank you." Malos stated.

Malos then went to the meeting room, and when he went to the meeting room, he so the other One Sith designers, obviously working on a new design for the military forces.

"Welcome Captain Kas to Coruscant."

"Thank you; I would like to mention that you guys have worked diligently today, so you can have the day off. Let the designers in your respective departments continue to work however."

"Really? Thank you sir" the head scientist replied.

"You deserve it."

Malos then so then leave, one by one. He looked at their uniform, and he could see they wore military uniform. Technically, they were part of the military, but there were One Sith engineers that had gone to their respective military academies and hadn't really seen battle; for Malos however, he had received training on Pantora, and further training in the Republic, so knew that he didn't really need to go the One Sith Naval Academies; nevetheless, he went, but he got out quickly later as he had already been accepted.

Malos cracked his knuckles, and snapped his fingers, a large hologram appearing. "Let's see what we have here now." Malos stated.

"Ok, I can see that the hull is made of Alusteel. I'll have the hull comprise mostly of Matrix Armor instead in order to make the ship more durable. This is probably going to reduce the speed, but I have a few ideas on how to mitigate that weakness so it doesn't affect the design. I'll also add in some Duraplast with Alusteel reinforcement, Glasteel viewports, as well as G-32 Evasive Plating, as well AR-0B damage reduction armor component. This should allow the ship to be able to have a high resistance, as durability is going to be one of the key components of the ship if it is going to do well in it's role. " Malos stated.

"For the weaponry, I plan on having two solar ionization canons, both weapons generating considerable power requirements in terms of a starfighter generator, as well as the damage output being quite high. I estimate that each solar ionization canon is worth 3 laser canons,. They also have a high damage output as well, which should help the ship fight off enemy starfighters. If this was a bigger ship, I would have used agrocite fuel, but I cannot do that I will also added in other missile launchers to be able to help the ship in a dogfight. The armaments should therefore be satisfactory. " Malos stated.

"In terms of shielding, I plan on adding in heavy redundant shielding systems in order to help the ship. I am well aware that there are weaknesses for this, especially in terms of speed and maneuverability. I am not sure how it will affect either, so I hope the G-32 Evasing Plating can be able to mitigate the weakness. The shielding will the deflector shields, but I plan on adding in molecular shields in the future; going to another part of the systems then."
