The Right of Passage(Paddy Mission)

Varus stopped at the edge of the tunnel behind Jake and simply watched him. The way Jake moved and acted he could tell that he had already been noticed. He was far too calm to have not known that he was safe with Varus to near him, and as he waited for Jake to take in the experience and remember that moment, the young Knight couldn't help but to remember his own experience looking for his own crystal only a couple of years prior.

It had been and interesting journey, and on his own he had made friends, but he had also remembered that when he'd gone on his first mission he would have preferred to have gone alone. He didn't get that choice, and now that he thought about it, he realized the necessity to have someone with you on a planet as vicious as Ilum.

Jake turned slowly to face his master, and when he had, he also saw Savara Rein, or rather her force ghost. He had missed her, and the only other time he had seen her had been on Rhen Var when he had traveled there with a group of other students and their masters. "Hello, Masters." Jake stated, knowing either [member="Varus Shatterstar"] would notice the force ghost behind him, at which point they would be able to have a discussion between the three of them, or Varus would be quite confused. Either way It would be an interesting ordeal to go through.

Varus said nothing for one reason and one reason alone. This was not an experience for him. It was an experience for Jake and Jake alone. That was why, when he felt the cold chill of another's presence and realized there was a spirit among them that lingered, made manifest by the force, he didn't move a muscle.

He chose not to acknowledge it, but both Varus and this apparition were aware of one another, and the both of them were also very much aware that the other knew of their presence. That, Varus had figured, was why the transparent form of Jake's prior Master passed by him, gently gracing his shoulder with her cool, unnerving touch as she approached Jake.
