The Redwind is a modified L4000 Transport, enhanced by Jasper Kai'el and donated to the New Jedi Order to serve as a transport for non-hostile ventures. Rather than shuttle Jedi to various missions, the Redwind exclusively ferries those on educational or spiritual retreats to their destination, with equipment onboard to support small classroom education, meditation, relief transport in association with the Shield Core, and various other ventures. For situations where an escort may be necessary, Jasper insured that a starfighter was capable of attaching itself to the top of the transport, though it is otherwise only lightly armed to emphasize it's intended role as a non-hostile vessel. Rumor amongst younglings is that Jasper acquired the vessel by defeating a pirate crew, but no evidence exists to support this theory. The vessel is currently flown by Jedi Pilot Seydan Toth.
