READ THIS FIRST:OK, so now that I've got your attention...
No, the Rebel Alliance is not a Communist faction. However, that does not mean that certain sects (especially in the leadership) are not pushing a socialist agenda.
Yeah, yeah, joke all you want. Call us names and put us down. The truth is, that's exactly what happened in the beginning, and we're still here six months later.
"Is this a gimmick?" you may ask. And, truthfully, I would have to answer, "Yes, this thread is a gimmick. It got you to look, didn't it?"
But the reality is that this faction is a story. It always has been. And now that story is meandering its way towards the rise of Selectivism, should we stay the course.
I've had to face a lot of adversity in the creation, management, and advancement of this faction for its entire existence. I know a lot of people don't really like it. Maybe it's just not you're thing, and that's fine. We may never be popular; I may never be popular. That doesn't matter to me. The question is: Why give up now?
I hope there are people out there who are willing to join in this adventure, even as we are transforming into something new and possibly unappreciated. It doesn't matter what others think, as long as you're respectful to others and have fun. That's what this faction has always been about, aside from just progressing our stories.
If no one joins, that won't kill me. I have people with me already. But I would love it if you do--and if not, I hope to see you mix with us in threads down the road.
