I could be interested in joining (not leading) but in my mind a Rebel Alliance is like 95% NFU membership and I don't see that happening.

honestly, that's how I'd prefer it. The WSR is pretty openly NFU friendly. Between the military side, the Guild of Wild Spacers, and the general rebel cells, I'd more like to push that side of it than just having yet another jedi faction.
