Contract The Ralltiiri Trade Summit

Her eyebrow came up as the man spoke and she more looked at him. "It is your station you shouldn't need another company to advise you on the workings of your own technologies. It is not as confidence building for a meeting in the long run." She said it and offered a small moment of thought. This meeting had slowly boiled down to she was not entirely sure. There was less and less people talking now. She had asked for clarifications about the role they wanted for Sasori which didn't really seem to be needed. One company with a station, one government sponsoring the corridor. Ra and Vulpesen may be able to offer security but she was more observing now.

Alexi di Garthos leaned back slightly, letting the last murmurs of debate fade into the quiet hum of the summit chamber. Her hands rested lightly on the table, fingertips brushing together as she regarded the delegates still present.

Very well,” she said, voice calm but carrying the weight of authority that had guided the session from the start. “It seems we have reached a general consensus, or at least an understanding, of the framework for this trade corridor. The Khonshu-Class Path Stations will serve as the backbone of this initiative, with oversight coordinated between the Imperial Remnant and participating planetary governments. External advisement - such as that from Sasori - is intended strictly to ensure smooth operations, not to override or dominate control. The stations remain under the governance of those who sponsor them, as we have discussed.” She paused, letting her words settle, eyes scanning the room. “Those with lingering concerns are, of course, encouraged to submit formal notes after the meeting. This ensures the dialogue continues without stalling the initiative. Otherwise, I consider the matter closed for the purposes of today’s session. We will move forward, and each party here will be kept fully informed as the corridor becomes operational.

A small, measured smile curved her lips. “
Thank you all for your time, attention, and contributions. Let us hope the next steps are as productive as today’s discussions have been.

Anaara looked for a moment but remained quiet for it. RIsing when they were all dismissed and wondering when she had actuaally agreed to anything. She had asked questions but was now being assigned. Seemed less cooperative then strictly order based and they were being made to advise on another company to ensure smooth operations... interesting and she looked at the economic biot as it walked with her. "I don't recall signing any documents to formalize Sasori's involvement."

She spoke looking at them with a flick of her eyes to the side as she moved and the biot spoke. "You did not appear to. Formally no one did and verbal agreements are questionable as any recording would have you asking more questions about the operation side of things." Anaara was checking on parts of it though as she walked and brought up her interface overlay. "So projections how much do we stand to gain for this?" She said it and the economic biot spoke with a look.

"Based on projected earnings and market value of such a corridor, factoring in a divide among all the ones involved and salaries of those who would be on the project. We might make a baseline project if the route is used for roughly seven thousand years. Sasori's incentives for skilled labor just pays more then most of these routes would make and we have more profitable endeavors throughout the galaxies." It spoke as the entanglement biot spoke looking at them.

"Legal is suggesting use it as a tax write off." That got a small head turn as she looked over it with a grin. "Now that would be interesting." She said it and was mentally thinking about in for a small time on the route back towards the shuttle. "Charitable economic development of a region does sound good on paper as it were and government tax credits could be used to pay the salaries of the workers for their consultation fees in the pursuit of their jobs with the stations." She shrugged. "Send it up the chain, we'll see if anyone wants to try and make a business deal but most seem to be quiet."

Ra did not immediately move when Alexi brought the session to a close.

For a moment, she remained seated, her golden eyes resting on the slowly dimming projection as the corridor lines faded from the table's surface. The discussion had traveled a long road in a short time. Technology, governance, economics, and politics had all been woven together with varying degrees of confidence.

When she finally rose, it was with the same calm composure she had carried throughout the summit.

"The concept itself is sound," she said evenly, her voice measured and clear. "Stable trade routes have a long history of reducing conflict between neighboring regions. In principle, that is something most governments can support."

Her gaze moved briefly toward Alexi.

"Lady di Garthos has proposed a framework designed to preserve neutrality beyond the stability of any one world. That is a prudent consideration."

She allowed a small pause before continuing, careful and deliberate.

"That said, the United Protectorate of Sovereign Systems has not entered into any formal agreement today. Our presence here was to observe the proposal, participate in discussion, and better understand the intentions of those involved."

Her hands settled lightly behind her back.

"Commitments of infrastructure, governance, or security require formal review before any government can responsibly endorse them."

Her attention swept briefly across the other delegates before returning to Alexi with a respectful inclination of her head.

"We appreciate the invitation to take part in the conversation."

A faint warmth touched her expression.

"And we will follow the development of the corridor with interest."

With that, Ra stepped away from the table, leaving the initiative in the hands of those who had chosen to claim it today.
