The Precursor.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
She sat silently this time in the garden at the top of her home, the light side nexus created by her and the Order of the Grey as they had set up. She smiled as she felt the wind slowly move over the area and her eyes remained closed. Another battle had been done the week before, another period of death and destruction, it was all too constant now a days but that is what it meant to fight for something like the Sith.

Her eyes did fall over to the steps now, there was one other person that would be in the area at the time, it was that person she now expected to appear as Daeda too looked over that way from where she sat.

Vulpesen leaned against the threshold of the nexus, looking over to [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] as she relaxed in it. It was good to see her with such calm after the battle they had been through and as he stood int he light, he couldn't help but savor it. Sure he might have been a sith, but there was a time when the jedi were not a symbol of corruption and inefficiency. A time where the light was his greatest ally. He took a deep breath and took it in, relishing it and letting it flow through him. Of course, this would change when he left, but for now he allowed his memories to take him away for just a moment. "Good to see we both made it out in once piece. More or less."

She smiled as her hands turned on him now. "Vulps, its good to see you perfectly fine as well. There is certainly no one else that i am glad to see here and now." Her hands crossed on her lap as she stared at him for a few long moments and smiled even more as her friend entered the nexus. "Beautiful isn't it?"

He nodded and walked over to join her. The armor had long been taken of and now he was in his simple black robes, loose fitting and comfortable. Strange, even as a sith, his clothing from when he was a jedi hadn't changed. It had simply become far more suitable. "A bit scuffed up, but I've had far worse. At least this time, I had a chance to find out what this new body of mine can do and now, I can tell that I'm not even done with the changes. I wonder what else I'll learn to do." He dropped into a sitting position next to Alexandra, his usually formal movements having become casual and completely relaxed.

"Just dont go using a litterbox or doggy bags or something, else i really will start thinking Zarro did something to you as a child." She smiled as her friend sat down next to her and focused on the thoughts that drew into her mind. Her friend and her had once more survived... only that would be their last fight together, as she had already set fate into motion, her hand closing around the rainbow gem she had in her hand before she slid it into her robes carefully, making sure Vulpesen didnt see it.

Vulpesen chuckled and leaned back on his hands as he relaxed. However, he felt a shift in Aleandra's presence. It wasn't a happy shift by any means and honestly, he hated that fact more than ever considering the peaceful state he was currently enjoying. He turned his head to look at her, worry covering his unmasked face. "Whats wrong Alex?"

"Things are just... its all too much to tell the truth. I wish i could just stay here in this garden and never have to fight or worry about what happens in the galaxy again... all the death and destruction is too much, i dont want to fight anymore." She held back the urge to let the sadness take its hold on her voice or worse cause her to break into tears, but it was there and unavoidable as it welled up inside her. "What is wrong with this galaxy that war must happen every day."

Vulpesen heaved a small sigh as he listened to her words. "People take what they wish. No one's motivations or beliefs are the same and such truths are bound to collide. If not jedi and sith, then mandalorian and echani. There are always conflicts, but it is only when they rage on entire worlds that we call it a war. Conflict is a part of life and though we may wish it gone, we cannot escape it. No one can, leas of all you and I who were born in it and have lived it all our lives. The best we can do is hope that we will earn our peace and do so without facing the final blade of an enemy."

She smiled and looked at the man, her friend that she would hold true past all else as she just stared at him for a few more seconds. "I hate how wise you are sometimes Vulps, can't you just act your age sometimes and not be an old man." She placed both her hands back on her lap, the rainbow Gem gone from sight as she sat there beside her friend.

He let out a small laugh and shook his head. "I was raised among quick witted merchants and hagglers, from there I ran through the streets of the galaxy's scu holes and learned from masters far older than either of us. Then, I became a warrior of light and from there I have become this. The question is, how can I act my age when the time comes? And even if I were to do as such, I would much rather that you do the same and escape the sadness that I've constantly seen plaguing your mind."

Her face shifted as he mentioned that sadness, her eyes falling a small bit. "Vulps... i know that you've seen it, but its something im handling, don't worry... You trust me to know what i am doing, right Vulpesen?" She used his full name, a thing she rarely did as her mind and eyes nothing but a dead seriousness to them.

He let out a small sigh and turned and thought for a moment. "Alexandra, you've been acting strangely, and coming from me, that's quite a statement. Also, when I consider why I'm acting odd in terms of others, I have even more reason to fear your plans. I want to trust you but at the same time, I don't want to see you make any mistakes you might regret, all in the name of finding an easy fix."

"Ive thought this through a million times Vulpesen, this is the best course of action." She looked at her friend and cast her eyes down once more. "Please don't worry about my plans, i dont want to cause you to ever worry about me or what i will do. Just... do not worry of me please." Words had grown softer as she continued to speak, trying to keep away from that thought of what she was going to do soon.

He shook his head and continued to watch her despite the downcast eyes. "As far as I'm concerned its my job to worry about you. You and everyone else in this galaxy, but more importantly and far more presently, you." He grinned at her, diffusing at least a part of the tension. "And yes, I do realize that its one of the things you hate most about me."

Alexandra smiled as she heard that and she looked at him with a happy expression, just before she hit him in the arm. "It is, and you dont need to worry about me any more than others... i mean i know im your friend but that gives me no more special privilege than that of a random stranger on the street there Vulps." She continued to smile, the look of sadness gone from her.

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

He chuckled and rubbed his arm where she had hit him before laying down on his back. "You know, until now, I thought I was the one with all the big secrets. Next thing I know, you're spinning my head with all these hidden things you've got locked up inside your white haired skull." As he spoke, he turned his head to face her, continuing his view of his companion.

She smiled and lay back too, letting her vision be level with his. "Oh? Tell me then, what more secrets is it that you keep in that trained skull of yours, did Zarro feed you treats when you were a good boy?" She smiled at him and let the joke hang in the air as she lost all thoughts about getting rid of her memories, no longer needing those thoughts at the moment.

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

He grinned and rose an eyebrow at her. "I told you that I would reveal everything once we get back. The question is, do you want to hear it? Once I tell you, I'll admit that there's gonna be a bit of danger. So for me to trust you, I suppose that you must understand that in even hearing me, you are showing an equal amount of trust."

She paused for a long moment, thinking it through and carefully before she nodded slowly. "I wish to hear it and i promise you that the trust i hold in you is absolute, though what is so bad that you must be sure of that... did your research actually bring you so close that you have found what you are looking for?"

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

Vulpesen nodded at her question and moved his head to hers to speak. He trusted her not to put surveillance on him, but he still preferred to take absolutely no chances. From there, his lips would move, whispering the words of his plans, every single detail from the moment it had started to the moment he intended to end it. Such would make her the only person with said knowledge, a fact he should very much like to keep true. "Oh, and by the way, when it happens, I want you to be the one running at my side."
