"Consider it done Master"

Padak shakily got up, hearing his Master's order. He smiled at the joke, the activated his borrowed saber. He took a deep breath, letting the Force fill him, and surprisingly, the pain in his shoulder melted away. He didn't look at his shoulder though, too busy looking for the sniper. He spotted the Sith worshipper, high in a tree. Padak ran towards another chunk of ruin, speed enchanced by the Force. He struck down another cultist on the way over, then ducked down in time to dodge the sniper's shot.

He caught his breath, gathered the Force once more, the lifted a chunk of limestome with the Force. He used. it as cover, advancing toward the sniper in the tree. The rock shuddered with blaster bolt hits, but it held together. When it shattered, Padak used the Force to throw the dust at the sniper, blinding him. He then jumped imto the tree, slashing with his lightsaber. With a woosh, the rifle was cut in half, and the terrified sniper jumped out of the tree, breaking an ankle, and hobbled off as fast as he could.

Padak jumped out of the tree, landing not so gracefully, but without injury. He started making his way back to Darron and Rosa and the other Jedi there.

It had been years since she set foot upon the golden fields of Onderon, where beast riders ruled the land and her Queen reigned. Oh but that was another life. Beyond that which she dare not speak of; a time that was best kept in oblivion. She now served a new purpose, for which she was here for.

She'd seen Elara rush forward towards the turret batteries. Chaos abounded. With a stern and determined expression, A'dele followed suit. There were more turrets to take down. Rushing just opposite of Elara, the Iridonian's lightsaber ignited with a pale white hue, the Kryat pearl in it's core reflecting the purity that which A'dele seemingly stood for. Beast riders abounded as wretched snarls came at her, led by the cultists.

Her feet went dancing across the ground as her blade sang through the air, deflecting a volley of bolts her way. Why she was no martial expert, she was instead, a powerful adept in the Force. Aquamarine eyes glittered once before a sudden surge of energy swept through the Zabrak female, water falling down her torso and swept outward in a powerful Force Wave that sent the beast riders around her flying outward. Her brow set in determination and then the very ground under them began to shake as her arms spread wide, palms down to the floor, sending pulse after pulse of energy as she manipulated the ground and send a small sphere of earth shuddering underneath.

It would serve a purpose to allow Elara to dart quicker to the next turret. She would take the cultists on for now.

Rosa moved closer to Darron, her lightsaber dancing as she batted away the few remaining bolts that were coming at them from the turrets. Heeding Darron's command to watch his back but also use her force powers. As her blade moved she split her attention to a stone embedded deep in the ground close to them. She began to work the earth away around it, and twisting the stone from side to side to work it free. Eventually it came free and she moved it in line of sight of the turrets, the bolts were not enough to destroy the huge stone.

Holding it there she turned her attention to the skies to watch Darron at work, smiling to herself at his skill. Turning her attention to the stone once more she pushed it slowly towards the temple entrance, her intent to back the sith inside and seal them in. An issue they could deal with after they had dealt with the wildlife. But before her stone reached it point she felt his pain and despair hit her like a tidal wave. everything around her seemed to slow down, to become insignificant as she felt the great light blink out of existence.

The Grand Master.

Pain exploded in her shoulder as a blaster bolt found its home there. Its impact spun her and she let out a shout of surprise and pain as she dropped to one knee, her back to the fight. bad move, she though, forcing herself back up she pushed herself deeper in the force and moved to complete block Darron from their view as she told herself over and over again it was just a stun from a training saber.

"Darron!" she called to him, as a reptilian screech above told her they beasts were coming to feed. "Darron we need to move. Get up." She could feel the wind from the wings now as they bore down on them. "DARRON!" She shoved him to the ground she creatures clawed feet wrapping round her instead. Talons ripped at her clothes cutting deep. She gritted her teeth against it she slashed her saber at the drexls leg making him drop her, with a scream of pain.

She was falling. No! Never falling, landing. She mustered as much of the force as she could beneath her to slow her descent. Not falling. Landing. Not falling, landing. She hit the ground with such and impact the shockwave cracked several of the stones around her, though she had landed. She stayed there for a moment sprawled like a cat, trying to slow her racing heart when a warning flashed in the force making her dive forward as the turrets found her again. She slid behind rubble for cover, not daring to look at her sides.

The dust was clearing when the Geonosian Captain came in with his Company, blasting the remaining guards in the room.It was good news for her, Bravo was badly injured, half-deaf and tired. The Company was just about reaching its breaking point by the time Delta showed up for reinforcements. Overhearing the Commanders words on her earpiece-but just barely, Delila moved her group into a new direction :lockdown the area so a medical gunship could land.

Motioning to her group, Delila sent a pair of men outside to comm the Medical Frigate in space, telling them to have fighters escort a team down. They had wounded and dead- lots of each. Bravo had sustained heavy casualties but at least the Temple was cleared out for the most part. Delta was following their Captain onward within, the Commander was requesting help.

"Lock this place down and form a perimeter. We've got medical inbound" Delila had to all but yell to be heard. Her own ears were ringing and it sounded as if everything was underwater. She had no time to slow down. The Captain divided her company into three groups : one to secure a perimeter around the Temple and help the gunship land, one to secure the Temple, and one to start surveying their wounded.

The Temple was captured. The Queen had escaped (err, died by gut wound). The enemy Oceanic Navy was closing. And to Flint's great surprise, the Expeditionary Fleet was coming in through the Atmosphere? His com light buzzed to life,

~ "...Flint! Where the heck have you been!" ~
"Hello Sam."

Flint let Maelion assist him outside.

~ "I've lost three frigates already and I'm burning a path to you. What's the situation?" ~
"All clear now. The Queen ambushed us with a bunch of Sith Cultists. She's on her way to the Oceanic Fleet now. Where are you?"

~ "One minute out. I've got requests you need a Med Bird?" ~
"Yeah. Maelion took some fire and the poor girl needs a band-aid. Heh."

~ "Well. It's heavy up here. But we'll be there soon. Admiral out." ~

Flint smirked and looked across the vast rural area that surrounded the Temple. So much for peace and quiet. He began to give orders,

"Okay! ...Listen up! We've got an Ondi Navy to deal with. They are coming up the river now. We'll have gunships pick everybody up for Med Evac. No heroics people. Get back to the boats and we'll blow them up from the sky. Keep it tight. We're all going home."

He snorted and looked up at the sky. They we're almost out of the water yet...

~ "Commander! Their Navy has just erected a Paling! On their Flagship!" ~
"Damn it! A deflector shield on a boat!? ...How?"

~ "I don't know. But you'll need to knock it out before we can torch the Fleet from up here." ~
"Understood. Give me all the Gunships you got. We're going in."

~ "...In? Where! Onto their Navy!?" ~
"Yep. It's time I thanked the Queen for her... Hospitality, personally."

Flint grunted and turned to shout at the soldiers,

"Change of plan. If you can still fight? We're going sailing!"

Gezzo

Captain Gezzo, 73rd Infantry, Charlie Company CO
@[member="Delila Castillon"]

Gezzo heard that his company had met up with Bravo through the special ear piece the bug wore. At the current moment he and the queen had clashed blades, his buggy eyes starring down the Sith as activated his Comm with a click of his mandibles. Just as the comm beeped, notifying him that the channel to Bravo was open, he shoved the siths blade away and struck her in the face with the back of his spear. When the female warrior stumbled back Gezzo quickly began whistling and clicking into the device

"Delila, this is Gezzo, i'm a little held up with a Sith. If I don't make it to the LZ in time make sure my men get loaded up!" Before Gezzo finsihed he was already striking at the Queen. She was getting warn down, must have been all the fighting before Gezzo made his appearance. The Queen tried to swipe at him but he leaped backwards and clung to the wall behind him. In the blink of an eye he kicked off the wall right back at the sith and jabbed his spear at her legs, as expected she went to block the strike. When the Queen went to block the attack Gezzo flipped the spear and struck her hard in the top of the head with the back end of his spear before flipping it back again and jabbing it at her. The spear sliced through her side and impacted the cave wall, the strong cortosis metal not even bending as it impacted. He was just about to re-assume his stance when he felt a hot burning sensation around his shoulder and then he realized something else...he couldn't feel his whole left arm.

The Geonsian took a few steps back, in shock, as he looked down to his limb that laid limp on the ground. The Queen had cut his entire shoulder and arm off, probably barely missing his internal organs. Without warning he found himself flying towards the wall and hitting the cave hard before tumbling back to the floor, right next to his dismembered arm. He looked at it in shock...he had never been so badly wounded in a battle before...and here he was with no wings and no arm. The sith knelt down and put her blade to his neck and grinned cynically down at the bug.

"This is where you die, you Republican cockroach." she slithered out as she raised the blade for the final blow...but Gezzo was not dying in some Sith slime pit.

In one fluid motion Gezzo grabbed his detached arm and shoved it into the Sith's neck. The arm was sharp, as when it was cut off pieces of jagged exoskeleton remained. Like scissors through paper, the tough exoskeleton pierced through her neck and she stumbled back in pain. Gezzo then grabbed his spear with his remaining arm and shoved it deep into her stomach and pushed her into the wall. She looked at Gezzo with shock..shock that she had lost to such a "lesser creature" and the look stayed on her face as she slid down the wall and onto the floor. Blood shot from her wounds as she took her last breaths and her eyes lost the light of life until she was gone for good...

Gezzo tried to stand, but he felt so weak he could barely stand on his feet "Delila..I need help...help me." he clicked into his Comm and then the world went dark and he sank into unconsciousness.

Delila was busy setting her company up when Delta merged with hers, according to the message over the earpiece it seemed Gezzo was busy handling a Sith. Where were the Jedi when you needed them? Figuring some of his best soldiers stayed behind to assist their Captain, Delila continued her work. Boats were inbound on the river and she was setting that plan into action.

"Those securing the perimeter near the waterways : seek cover. We got enemy forces coming in. Find sheltered spots and fire at will.Show no mercy."

Chatter in her earpiece meant a Medical gunship was also on their way, coming in a click or so away to avoid most of the heavy gunfire. They were going to have to cart the most critical soldiers first. There was already a long line of soldiers lying on the ground, Combat Medics fluttering between them. The Captain let those specialized do their work, she would only interfere. Her Company ran like a well oiled machine due to their constant training and drills....

Hearing Delta's Captain cry for help over the earpiece, Delila yelled to Sergeant Malik "You're in charge, make sure we've got that waterway under our control."

Starting off at a brisk run, Delila pulled her A280 off her back and moved towards the chamber where the Captain was last seen. Perhaps she shouldn't go in so blindly but her comrade was down and in need of help. There had been no time to form a rescue team, she was it. Running down the corridors she had to side-step debris and bodies at every pass. Soon however, she was in the cave Gezzo had just defeated the Sith in. Looking around, she worked on catching her bearings, making sure no attack was at hand.

Suddenly, she saw the dead Sith and Gezzo...who looked equally lifeless. The Captain hurriedly rushed over to her fellow Officer. It didn't look good, kneeling down Delila took an assessment of the insect. Missing an arm and he looked fairly battered. She had no idea how to check for a pulse on such a being and decided to do what she did know. Standing, she took the Captain by underneath both arms and started to drag him back to the medical gunships LZ. Medics would be able to help him far more than she could.

"Stay with me Captain"

Gezzo

Captain Gezzo, 73rd Infantry, Charlie Company CO
Gezzo was pulsing in and out of consciousness, his vision blurring as he saw his arm falling out of sight. That was not what he was worried about though, the proud warrior had no worries of his injuries or how he would live the rest of his life a cyborg...no all that worried him at this moment was the spear of his ancestors that he had kept with him ever since he left Geonosis

"My spear...I can't leave it...my spear please." the warrior, who was as tough as Bantha meat, was on the verge of the Geonosian equivalent of tears. He couldn't leave it there, it was his life, the only remembrance of a home unscaved by war...he promised them he would free them with that spear....please he thought I can't live without it...let me die here, let me bleed just don't let me leave without it.

Along with @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member="A'dele"], Elara made quick work of the turrets and artillery. Since most of the cultist forces were on the ground and focusing on Darron, Elara found the opposition on the rooftops to be light. A'dele managed to keep the Beast Riders from getting too close to Elara, which the Miralukan was thankful for. She managed to disable each turret she reached by cutting the power cord.

When the last of the turrets near Elara was disabled, she jumped down next to A'dele.

"Thank you," she said to the Zabrak, the red lightsaber she procured still in her hand.

With part of the artillery fire down, that would relieve some pressure off the rest of the Jedi. However, the situation still seemed to be hectic to the young Padawan. Elara noticed with her Force Vision that Darron dropped to his knees and that Rosa was carried into the sky by a Drexyl and dropped.

"I'll try to help Master Wraith," Elara said to inform A'dele, "You should tend to his Padawan."

After saying that, Elara rushed back toward the loosely spread out gathering of Jedi. She barely managed to dodge blaster fire from the cultists on all sides. As she neared Darron, a shot grazed her right should. There was a hiss of pain as Elara crossed an empty left hand across to grip her wound.

Just as she began get close enough to @[member="Darron Wraith"], Elara was targeted by another blaster rifle shot. She managed to swing the red lightsaber forward and deflect the blade just in time. Her lips grimaced due to the movement irritating the burn she received. She definitely could have reached the Jedi Master with time, yet the continuous attacks of the cultists severely slowed her - and it would be soon that Darron might react to the attack on Rosa.

Padak had fought his way back to the main group of Jedi, knocking out cultists and killing those he had to. He swung his Master's blade, deflecting a blaster bolt. The injury in his shoulder flared up again, but he quieted it with the Force.

When he got to the main group of Jedi, all of whom were still fighting, he spotted Elara Hulis, the Padawan who helped him get over his nausea. He Force jumped over the last 10 meters, landing on his feet with inactive saber in his hand. He ignited it in time to deflect another blaster bolt.

"I realized I never gave you my name Elara. I'm Padak Arciso. Pleased to meet you." He said as he blocked another bolt.

He then used the Force to lift another chunk of stone from the ruins, and flung it at another artillery piece.

Judah was busy handling ancient starfighters which in all reality he found was fairly easy unless one got on his tail. Due to the advancements in X-Wing technology he could easily outfire and out maneuver any ancient technology that came his way.Still, the enemy had sheer numbers on their side and a suicide-like mindset for winning at all costs.

So when the missiles let lose and started to fly everywhere, he had to abandon focusing on shooting down fighters and moving around missiles. Rolling, twisting and tumbling, watching the missiles as they struck the capital ships shields and the vessels themselves. None seemed to be crippled yet but he moved his fighter around to the ship with the worst damage. Fighters would be swarming soon enough on the crippled vessel and he would be there to pick them off.

Delila stopped moving the Geonosian right away once he started to speak.Spear? What spear? She set the being down gently and started to look around through all the debris. Nothing looked like a spear until she came upon the body of the Sith woman once again. The Captain took the spear and managed to attach it to the strap that was holding the A280 on her back. She needed her hands free in order to drag the Captain out.

"Don't worry Captain, I got your spear"

She once again picked up the Geonosian by under his arms and started to drag once again, moving at a much faster clip this time. They needed to get back to that LZ and Gezzo on the flight up to the medical ships in the atmosphere.

OOC:.. I lost this post twice before i went kjrflasjdflajsdf;lkj and decided to just make it short and sweet. Sorry for the shortness!

IC:

A'dele gave a short silent curt nod. As Elara darted over to help Darron, A'dele Force sped towards the area where she could feel Rosa's flutter of a life signature. However, the path was not the one of least resistance. Two more Drexyl's had flew over, attempting to regain that which was lost, their claws aiming for the small hideaway where Rosa had rolled under.

Determination set upon A'dele's features as she came to a halt behind the Drexyl's, then with a surge of energy, rounded up the various bits of rocks and debris from the very earth and flung them in a telekinetic throw to gain their attention, the sheer speed of the volley of debris making them caw and screech over at A'dele. The massive wings flapped as they left Rosa's hideaway, and instead focused on the Zabrak.

A narrowing of eyes and a strong sense of peace filled the Iridonian, as her right hand curled intangible threads of Force energy at a large boulder, flinging it upon the Drexyl to the right. For the left, she sent a blast of telekinetic energy, shoving it back as she took purposeful steps forward, her hand coming up towards her face in a vertical motion as she again, threw another volley of debris and tiny rocks at it.

Step by step, she closed the distance between her and Rosa, a final telekinetic blast sending the remaining Drexyl to the ground unconscious. "Padawan Mazhar!" she called out, rushing over towards her. She could feel the weakening of her life force; she'd been hurt, but not too bad. There was a small hiss as she deactivated her saber.

"Come," she urged, extending out her hand towards Rosa.

Everything around him was deathly quiet, all he could hear was an odd ringing noise in his ear. He didn't even feel attached to his body presently, everything seemed so much farther away at the moment. The explosions all around him seemed muted, their vibrations faint...distant. Rosa was in his face, screaming at him...or at least he thought. He couldn't tell presently as she her voice was inaudible. Judging from what he was seeing, she kept yelling his name, yet he didn't seem to care. He felt so disjointed at the moment, and the world all around him seemed so far away. In the edges of his peripherals he could see a Miralukan Jedi trying to get close to him, but she was shot. Over to his left he saw Padak closing in trying to help to the best of his abilities, yet the Jedi were being over run. All of the guns and transports had been taken care of, leaving only beasts and the remaining Sith.

Does it matter now that Teferi Efreet is dead though?

The question had barely formed in his mind as he felt a massive concussive Force strike him down flat on his back. The world went black again as his neck snapped back against the hard stone and a few bricks collapsed on him....

Eternity seemed to pass by, yet the noises and vibrations that had felt so far away earlier now seemed close: too close. His senses were returning to him gradually, and he was suddenly aware that he had a massive headache. Both his hands started moving rocks off of his prone form, and he couldn't help but notice his arms were covered in blood, his own. Slowly sitting up, he felt more of the hot liquid running down his face. His golden locks where stained with it, and he could see chips of rock sticking in his arms. Reality was setting in, and he looked down at the breastplate he wore and noticed a large dent from a sniper shell. Assessing that his legs still worked, Darron finally allowed himself back in the Force. The shock of what he had felt was real; Teferi Efreet was dead. "Darron does that affect the here or now thought? You have a duty to those under your command and to all life." The voice of his father rang in his head and one word among all others clung to him, and he repeated it over and over in his mind as he stood to his feet.

Duty.

Allowing the superconducting loop of Vaapad to reform itself, the Jedi Master fully immersed himself in the Force as he calmly strode towards Elara and pulled her behind some boulders for cover. "Stay here Padawan, provide long range support." Looking towards Padak he continued,"Padak, cover this one and hold your ground. Understand?" Seeing his own reflection in his student's eyes. Darron could see how badly injured he was, but he didn't care. There is work to be done, Teferi may be gone but the Order will not fall. The thought became a cadence in his head as he calmly made his way through the chaos towards the Sith that were running towards him. Their leader was among them, and they were counting on him being unarmed.

Cowards...

The first Sith came on him with blinding speed, and it was only a quick dodge that spared him meeting his maker. Another slash came from the left and Darron caught the man's wrist with his left hand as his right arm came underneath. With the Force enhancing the speed and strength of the blow, he shattered the man's arm causing the bone to come out of the skin. His grip released on his lightsaber hilt and the Jedi Master's hand was there to catch and reactivate the crimson blade. In one motion he brought the blade over and rid the man of his other arm, the Sith crumpled into a heap after that. As another approached, the darksider attempted a stab towards Darron's heart. But the Jedi Master had already stepped forward and to the right, bringing his saber high and over the man's guard. The aroma of burnt flesh filled his nose as the crimson blade bisected the other opponent. Seeing they where outmatched, the Sith started to form a circle around the Jedi Master, and their leader stepped forward.

Pointing his single blade at the leader, Darron spoke quietly yet the Force carried his words to every ear. "You and me, lets end this now. Should your men attack mine, you will lose as you are outmatched." A scream of fury from the Sith Lord echoed as all the other Sith ran towards the assembled Jedi behind Darron. The calm expression on the Jedi Master's face a stunning contrast to the inner storm that was his Force signature. "You should have taken my offer, your men will die now." Darron was a Jedi, he didn't now anger, or loss.

He did know duty though, and his duty would see this day won.

Rosa took a moment to gather herself. Inhaling the pain that racked at her sides as the drexl continued to scrabble at her hiding place. She called on the force for strength and for speed, the day was not done, she could not bow out of this not now. Not when Darron was overwhelmed and she was the only Knight on the ground with Karin up high dealing with turrets. The Padawans would not be able to cope alone.

The scrabbling and screeching stopped and she was surprised to see a zabrak hand reached down to her. Accepting she rose from her hiding place, igniting the blue saber in her hand as she did. "Knight," she said with a wince of pain "Knight Mazhar. I'm alright. Thank you A'dele" Using the cover they had for a chance to asses the situation, she watched as Elara was hit. But for a moment she couldn't see Darron, not until he rose, moving Elara to cover. Relief washed over her, but it was short lived as he moved unarmed to face the sith. "One of these days..." she muttered under her breath.

"Come one." She bolted form their hiding place, moving as fast as she could to Padak and Elara's position, her hand reaching towards She caught a wayward sniper shell, sending it screaming back to its owner. She had had enough, this simple diplomatic mission had become a disaster and that irked her. Stopping next to Padak she took several deep breaths and watched the scene with Darron unfold. As the sith rushed towards them she scowled. "Oh, these guys just don't know when to give up." she said her determination emanating from her.

Reaching behind her with her free hand she summoned Darron's fallen saber, igniting it with a snap hiss before taking two steps forward and then leaping in to the coming sith, her face set, her injuries forgotten. This ended here and it ended now, blue and green blades clashed against crimson as she leapt and danced with her opponents, slowly driving them back. her attacks became fiercer and faster. She leapt over one, her saber slicing him through the middle, but there was little time to grieve him before another took his place.

"Knight Mazhar," A'dele corrected herself, her tone apologetic. Yet there was no time to dawdle.
"Oh, these guys just don't know when to give up."
"No, no they don't." there was a faint shift in her voice, as if answering from memory. However, with the chaos around them, it was unlikely to have been heard. Rushing alongside Knight Mazhar, A'dele too ignited her saber, the white blade bursting to life with a snap-hiss.

While Rosa went on the offensive, A'dele protected her back. Mid swing towards one of the cultist, A'dele snapped her free hand up towards the direction of Knight Mazhar. A sudden glowing effect lit the palm of her hand and within seconds, a warming sensation would be felt over Rosa's form. There were few methods of healing she could do while in a fight, but A'dele at the very least could be able to revitalize the Jedi. Forgotten wounds or not, she could not have her fall due to her injuries, and as a healer, it was the least she could do.

The clouds swirled and the blue sky became a lightning storm of purple and gray. The Expeditionary Fleet came pouring through the atmosphere like slow ominous dreadnoughts of destruction. Admiral Samantha Daniels was leading them even as the enemy Starfighters became flaming comets on all sides,

"All guns! Pound those deflector shields! Boil the water if you have too. ...Evac Gunships to the Commander! All friendly Throne Stafighters keep those antiques off of us! We are going to make this fast!"

The sky began to melt as volleys of heavy turbolaser fire burst about the Ondi Navy. And lucky for all the Republic Ground Troops, the Ondi turned their big guns to fire back. It was now a slug fest between the boats in the sky and the boats in the water. The air crackled with deafening blows that moved the grass like wind about his Flint's feet,

"To the gunships people! We've got a Navy to invade!"

The Evac started for the wounded as Flint hobbled up the boarding ramp into the Freedom Class Gunship. It was time to finish this fight and bring the boom to the bad guys.

Wraith had challenged the Sith Alpha to a duel. The rest of the Cultists charged. Karen was busy up-top, finishing up with all the outside resistances. Apparently AA guns do great work against Drexl Riders.

"...Come on! I'm right here!"

She shouted as her Artillery chair rocked back and forth from the recoil. The massive gun beside her volleyed again and again. Flaking the sky with laser bursts, tearing against wings and sky.

*Frap, Frap, Frap*
*Boom, Boom, Boom*

You couldn't even hear the Drexl's cries against all the laser hail. But given the swirling mass of Darkside Emotions that flooded this place, it was no wonder the beasts in the sky began to retreat. Even if only for a rally and a counter-attack. Sadly, Karen could feel the battle below and had no time to muse any longer with her colossal turret.

"Oops. Got a bit carried away there. Hehe."

She pushed the slumping, smoking bodies aside as she dismounted. Resetting her faceplate's Waypoint and locking onto the friendly heat sigs down below. She did a excellent point-turn mid-air and leapt to the ground like an angel.

"Umph... Well now? Offense it is then! ...Here we go!"

With the Commander secure Davin rounded up his wounded and got them on med evacs out, he saw the Geonosian going Section 8 and let out a sigh. He rejoined the mop up and fired methodically.
