While their entrance into the Consortium has introduced the concepts of the Light and Dark Side of the Force, they have retained their cultural faith and instead now believe that they were birthed by their world to have an innate control over both.
    • Palidus Ranks: Unlike most organizations built around Force Users which have at most six ranks, the Palidus has seventeen which are granted by experience, power, faith in the Palidus Creed, and the number of kills they have amassed from battles.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Waterfall Sanctum, Embrace
    • The Palidus headquarters goes by a few names in accordance with the organization's mythos and records, the most common being Nirysthenes after the name of their founder some centuries ago. It is alternatively known as the Waterfall Sanctum by the wider Consortium forces due to its unique location. Additional details and facts for this most sanctified location include:
      • The primary entrance leading to the Palidus headquarters is little more than a consistently defended hole in the side of a mountain. The mountain itself is located at the end of a large coastal beach laden with mines, wire fences, auto-turrets, and a routinely shifted contingent of Palidus soldiers. While none have ever invaded the Sanctum during its existence, the beach near its borders is quite frequently. At least three times an Embracian year, the beach is invaded by warlords from Embrace's distant lands who have developed lasting, bloodied legacies over the centuries. The heated contests between the Palidus and these warlords have reached such a state of brutality that the beach has earned its own name: Potorus Cyrassus, the Bloodied Sands.
      • The North, East, and Western sides of the Sanctum's grounds is nothing more than a deep blue ocean outfitted with many underwater defensive vehicles similar to Crab Cannons.
      • The Palidus Forges are located near the peak of the Sanctum and are considered a holy place as it is the resting place of the current High Lord/Lady of Divine Fury. It is in these forges that the Palidus craft their impeccable, unique gear from the standard spears and swords, to the rare lightsaber, crafted from schematics gifted centuries ago by a traveling Jedi.
      • The gargantuan center rooms of the Sanctum is where the standard rank and file sleep, eat, study, and train. The entrance to the center rooms is a massive, stone staircase leading to an equally massive golden door.
      • The hangar bays are located directly under the center rooms. The ships and vehicles located in these hangar bays are not on Palidus design but are instead recent additions gifted by one Cryptarch Bullete who has a concerning trade deal with the Consortium.
      • The lowest parts of the Sanctum serves as the storage rooms for food, drink, and spare equipment.
      • The interior of the Sanctum is connected by a vast series of spiral staircases and climbable rock walls to ensure that no member of the Palidus can take an easier route to reach their destination.
  • Goals: [ What are the goals of this Army? If it has an official mission, what is it? ]
  • Reputation: [ Is this army known by people outside of itself and how do they view it? With pride? With concern? Wary or neutral? Describe your army’’s reputation here if it has one. This can include multiple views, from enemies and allies, depending on the type of army. ]

COMPOSITION INFORMATION

  • Army Size: Large - 20,000 Available Soldiers + Any Consortium Forces Assigned as Auxiliary
  • Composition:
    • Army Structure:
      • Infantry:
        • Section (8 Soldiers): A unit of four swordsmen and four spearmen, the Sections serve as the meat of the larger Palidus groups and perform every duty from the most basic battlefield assaults to HVT assassinations. The composition of the Sections varies due to the vast number of ranks available to a Palidus soldier, although the most common is five Faithfuls, two Conservators, and one Warder. The most elite Sections available for standard deployment involves a composition of four Justicars, two Paragons, one Archon, and one Seneschal.
        • Squadrons (144 Soldiers): Eighteen Sections in one, the Squadrons serve as the main fighting force of the Palidus and are still capable to operate under a multitude of objectives, similar to the Sections. However, due to their size, they are often left out of stealth operations, although occurrences of such events are not unheard of.
        • Cohort (288 - 720 Soldiers): One of the most variable of the Palidus military structure, the Cohorts can range anywhere from two Squadrons to five and are often only deployed in times of war, usually with star systems close to Baal. As such, the Cohorts never perform stealth operations in mass, although they can deploy their own numbers for such occasions if need be, although this is generally frowned upon as it weakens the available numbers.
        • Arm:
        • Corpus (All Soldiers): The entire Palidus in one, the Corpus is the fighting force that shakes stars and bleeds planets dry. Called into action only in the direst of circumstances on the orders of the High Lord/Lady of Divine Fury and Kascalion Giedfield, the Corpus is the vast collection of every Palidus soldier that knows only victory and death. No longer is one considered an individual when the Corpus is called. Rather, they are a sharp instrument intended to carve into the flesh of their foes and bring home glory for all of the Palidus.
      • Armored Lines:
        • Taureas Battery: The most basic line intended for standard enemy suppression and structural demolition. The most common vehicles seen in this line are tanks and mobile cannon emplacements.
        • Monoecus Wall:
        • Philostratus March:
      • Fleet: The Palidus forces have been assigned to 3rd Defense Navy "Spirt Bulwark" from the Consortium's 2nd Fleet. This fleet specializes in defending and supporting its sister navy, the 4th Assault Navy "Primal Exalted," acting as the Phalanx wall for the swords and hammers behind it.
