OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Ols (Orcs)
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Noxis
  • Average Lifespan: 60 Standard Years
  • Estimated Population: Planetary
  • Description: The Ols, at a glance, appear to be stout, stocky humanoids with exaggerated and demonic features, most certainly a result of their homeworld of Noxis and their supposed genetic relation to the Dark Side of the Heart of Noxis.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type-1
  • Average Height of Adults: 121cm/1.2m (4 Feet)
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Coal-Black
  • Hair color: Red/Black/White
  • Distinctions:
    • Height and Proportions: The first noticeable feature of the Ols is their height, with most standing at approximately four feet. As such, their proportions match their stature, with their legs and being incredibly short compared to other races, although their heads and chests are noticeably quite large.
    • Eyes: The species possesses eyes that have been described as molten jewels staring across the vastness of reality. From a distance, they appear to be simple orange dots, but up-close, they have been observed as twinkling and gleaming like stars in the night sky.
    • Hair Color: The Ols hair color is strangely vibrant against their skin, being either bright red or white. However, there have been a few seen with pitch-black hair, a sign of luck in their society.
    • Speech Patterns: The Ols speak in iambic pentameter, a trait they adopted from the Ancient Koignalteth.
    • Power Growth: It has been observed by their creators that the Ols possess an ability to grow in size with the more power they obtain from battles, with the Warlord of Rampage being the largest of their species, with some standing well over six feet, a giant by their standards.
  • Races:
    • Wulralks ad Runkuko: The Warlords of Rampage stand as the most muscular and most powerful of the Ols, operating out of the dreaded Iron Keep far in the South Pole of Noxis. There, they control the Ols and constantly plot to defeat their natural enemies of the Mehv Esiils and take their place as the Koignalteth's favored creations. They are distinguished by their large, protruding horns, various piercings, and religious scarification.
    • Wulkakks ad Chuak: The Warbosses of Chaos are the berserkers of the Ols, wielding flaming vibroaxes and glorious swords of Heavensteel, charging into fray without concern for their own health and well-being. They are distinguished by their sharp teeth, pointed noses and ears, and blood-red tattoos.
    • Wulklaokds: The Warpriests serve as the religious leaders of the Ols and offer sacrifices and prayers to their creators for aid in warfare. They are distinguishable by their surprisingly lanky bodies and various religious attire and accouterments.
    • Ol Wullaals: The Orc Warriors who serve as the main fighting force of the species, taking on the hated Meh Esiils almost every day, as well as the several dozen rebel factions that have splintered from the main force. These are the standard Ols who bear stylized haircuts and beards, flaming eyes, ashen skin, and stocky bodies.
    • Ol Evkavools: The Orc Engineers are the ones who fashion the weaponry, vehicles, and armor. They are constantly inventing new gear and are attempting to invent the species' first starships so as to grow closer to their creators and prove their worth.
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Sensitive
STRENGTHS
  • Physical Prowess: The Ols possess vast physical strength due to their compact body structure and constant warfare. With the ability to swing weapons of greater size than their own bodies, the Ols are capable of high levels of destruction, sometimes comparable to their creators.
  • Sprint Speed: Where they lack in standard running, the Ols make up for in incredible sprinting bursts, able to charge in units across short distances with dangerous potential. It has been said by more than one Noxian that the Ols greatest strength is their impact during a sprint charge, which they claim often leads to a kill all on its own with the sheer brunt. If it does not, the victim is almost always knocked onto the ground where the Ols will quickly take advantage with quick kills.
  • Power from Battles: It has been proven that the Ols increase in power and size with every consecutive battle. This is how the Warlords and Warbosses come about into existence as elderly Ols who have seen numerous battles across their lifetime. How the species obtained this ability, or whether it was one the Koignalteth gave them ages before, is unknown, although its usefulness and dangerous potential have been noted several times.
WEAKNESSES
  • Overconfidence: The Ols fighting prowess has led a seemingly genetic disposition towards overconfidence which has lead to many of their defeats and tragic losses of leaders. It is also the driving force for the infighting as many of the species see themselves as the greatest of their people and recruit hundreds of others under their cause.
  • Infighting: The Ols greatest weakness is their constant infighting, even when the Warlords of Rampage are at the helm, as they often vie against each other for lands, weaponry, vehicles, and deposits of Heavensteel. This prevents them from completely dominating the world under the rule of the Koignalteth, which thus prevents them from achieving their full potential.
  • Over-Aggression: The Ols are prone to frequent bouts of aggression that breaks formation and plans, resulting in great to total losses of forces and lands to either themselves or the Mehv Esiils.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Carnivore (Themselves and/or Mehv Esiils)
  • Communication: Spoken Language - Uhvilsphisi (Under Speech)
  • Technology level: Industrial
  • Religion/Beliefs: Similar to the Mehv Esiils, although the Ols will never admit this fact, they worship the Koignalteth as Gods of the Galaxy and would do anything they ask of them.
  • General behavior:
    • Forging: The Ols pride themselves on their skills as craftsmen and inventors and hold each creation closely to their heart. Every piece of technology they craft and every weapon they forge is considered an extension of themselves, a piece of the prowess of the Ols. To lose one such item is considered tantamount to heresy and sin and most who do so are usually put to death.
    • Warfare: The Ols are masters of warfare upon Noxis and have been blessed thrice by the Atheeds of the Koignalteth for prowess in combat, just as the Mehv Esiils were blessed for hunting.
    • Mates: The Ols normally avoid romance and familial ties, instead choosing to focus on invention and the slaying of their foes for land and power. However, there have been times where an Ol or two will find love in another, no matter the gender, and forge an eternal bond. However, it has been noted by their creators that the Ols are incapable of producing their own children, likely a side-effect of being born through manipulation of the Force.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Ols stands as the oldest and first successful creation of the Koignalteth, spanning farther back than any other creation in the history of the species. When they first came into existence, they were mindless savages incapable of thought beyond wanton violence and cannibalism.
They would retain this savagery and low intellect for a very long time until the Heart of Noxis bestowed upon its children the powers to help quicken the evolution of the species. After countless tests and forced adaptation, the Ols had achieved a state of mind that gave them purpose and creativity, enough so that the Koignalteth would take them on their quest to colonize the entirety of the Noxis. Despite this evolution, however, the Ols retained a few of their savage traits, most notably their quick aggression and cannibalism.
However, during this time, the Ols still lived in perfect harmony with the Koignalteth and managed to help them take over the entirety of Noxis and even aided in the building of their city, Tmi Ceith. All was well for the Ols until, of course, the Mehv Esiils came and proved to be their equal in importance in half the time it took them to reach such a status.
Thus began the feud between the Ols and Mehv Esiils which has lasted from the days of the Empire and beyond the Cataclysm to this day, wherein both species have regressed into states between what they began as and what they had reached during the golden age. Today, the Ols vie for land and power, actively seeking to return to where they once were under the rule of the Koignalteth, waiting for their Gods to return to form and take back what is rightfully theirs.

A very articulate submission that continues developing the lore behind your Koignalteth. I have only one request:

Do you have a link for Heavensteel, so that it is clear to the reader just what this is referring to? Is it the same or similar to another substance in the Star Wars universe? If you could elaborate on this detail, I would appreciate it.

Please tag me once you have had an opportunity to complete your edits.

[member="Zardu Hasselfrau"] Heavensteel is a WIP metal that I will be creating for the planet of Noxis. I am aiming to finish it when the holiday is over or when the Codex is reopened. If this is too long of a wait, I will make the sub when I have time this coming week and post it for the links.
