Mara.
I like Kyle and Dash and Corran. Their stories could still “sort of” exist. But Mara doesn’t seem like she’s got a place in the NuCanon.

I like her
Haha Naga Sadow and Exar Kun debuted in the Old EU. The Tales of the Jedi Comics (Dark Horse) tell their stories in detail, Sadow is in Golden Age of the Sith and as Sith Spirit who with Marka Ragnos and Freedon Nadd guides Exar Kun and Ulic Qel Droma. The Old Republic speaks of them a lot, in Kotor you can ask one of masters at the Dantooine Enclave about Kun and Droma, but it is the Old EU Comics that created them and tells their story in detail.

Anybody who has played through all of KOTOR will understand why I pick Revan. He looks cool, he acts cool, and his entire story was awesome. Don't get me wrong, I like Mara Jade, but... you can't argue with the best Star Wars video game of all time's main character.

How dare ye! Mara is a saint!

Revan is a very cool, although they did him wrong in Shadows of Revan and the Novel. He is like Shadow the Hedgehog, less is more.

I just love Revan's whole vibe. His outfits and Lightsabers are undeniably cool, and the KOTOR 1 story (if you do all of the side quests, save Bastila, and get the Light side ending) may be the best in Star Wars, up there with the OT, 2003 Clone Wars + ROTS and Force Unleashed 1. I will admit, however, that I have not read any comics with Mara in it, only watched summaries (her death is the best in Star Wars by far, followed by Vader and Starkiller) so I may not be educated enough. I just saw nobody was talking about Revan and I HAD to say something.

Oh you have to read Mara's comics. You can access all of them on Kindle now. I got my physical copies recently.
There are books too: Heir to the Empire, Choices of the One, The Last Command, and Survivor.
She also has Video Games, most notably Stars Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith.

Revan is very iconic, I love his design too and his story in Kotor, and like first few chapters of the Novel when he is married to Bastila Shan.

As a kid reading Young Jedi Knights, my favorite of the cast was Tenel Ka Djo. This is a fact. She never really got the development she deserved even after becoming Queen Mother.

I also liked Jacen, and really enjoyed his development in the NJO series. Legacy of the Force turns him into a villain, an idea which I don’t hate on principle but was not a fan of the execution.

Uncle Hoole from the Galaxy of Fear series had my favorite superpower, shapeshifting, and the reveal of his dark past made him a lot more interesting to a kid who was also reading Animorphs at the time.

I think KOTOR 2 has been recanonized, but Kreia and Atton are some of my favorite SW characters full stop. The Exile is also hella interesting, which is hard to pull off for a player character.

honorable mention to West End Games' D6 Star Wars Roleplaying Game
this was my Star Wars universe before I found Chaos online here
WEG did a good job keeping up with some of the post ROTJ EU stuff
they did sourcebooks for the Zahn Trilogy, the Dark Empire Saga and a couple other books (like the old Han Solo and the Corporate Sector trilogy by Del Rey books, 1979-1980)
You can find PDF's and more here: https://www.starwarstimeline.net/Westendgames.htm

Jaina, Sword of the Jedi. Probably enough said. Twin Suns Commander, techie, pilot, you name it.

Anakin. What a waste--you're missed, we can tell the difference between a grandpa and a grandson with the same name! (The reason why they nixed Anakin Solo.)

Jacen, a cool story--I would lie if I didn't say I missed the dynamics of the Solo twins. One being a techie, the other being very involved with nature and animal kinship.

The Hapan story, Courtship of Princess Leia was a very good book.

Han Solo Trilogy! Bria Tharen was my favorite. I loved the back workings of Outer Rim Imperial outposts or stations. How they conveyed a krayt dragon pearl--had me thinking of how illustrious and grand it was. And how even an Imperial, nevermind they were high-ranking, can be bribed.

I think the EU New Jedi Order was good, how it was rebuilt from scratch over years--the whole purge had taken a toll on the Galaxy in that manner. There was the struggle to get it going--then Kyp and the Dark Jedi.

Dark Empire was awesome, the comics done by Dark Horse.

I could go on and on.

Poor Luke was like an incel in that book - dude you blew up a Death Star, find a real woman.

Crystal Star.

Callista Ming. Jedi Spirit who sacrificed herself in the Eye of Palpatine--I'm still confused how that ship looks. When I recall the words, I was very confused on the actual design and portrayal.

And turns out, it's just a giant rock. Crazy.

If the direction ever happens--they could do a series about him. I'd watch it. Imagine some, iteration of Dark Forces in a live action sense.

That'd be cool. Andor-esque in the EU NR era.

The Horror in the Darkness
I've always been fascinated with Kriea a.k.a. Darth Traya. I love how deceptive and deceitful she was, and though weaker in terms of physical prowess than her other two Triumvirate cohorts, Darth Scion and Nihilus, she was far more dangerous because how she manipulated them and others. I wish there would be more on her outside of the KOTOR 2, considering her death in the game was soooooooooooooo uneventful.
