The Odyssey of Rosa Mazhar

Running along the cargo of the Peregrine, Spencer continued to load different sorts of objects along with some newly downloaded data pads of information that she would need on this venture. Spencer wasn’t the type to linger about a space station for too long and this time she had finally decided on a destination. Shoving boxes into the hold she moved quickly while the door shut and locked. The slender girl ducked and weaved passed everything and soon stood on the small bridge of the two man ship. A large holomap unfolded as she made marks of several planets leading towards her ultimate goal.

Aing-Tii.

A small mouse droid buzzed into the bridge and held a few data pads for Spencer. Kneeling down she grasped them and used the force to surround her with them. Each bit of data showed large on the holoscreen as she glanced through the information regarding the race upon the planet. They were flow walkers, the originals. Only they would be able to help her hone the already viable skill she had and with her promise to another Empath, she decided to bring the woman with her. There were also several other sites they were going to visit, meditate and learn.

Spencer placed the datapads onto the command chair and the holo screen closed quickly, she sent a small and short message to the lost knight. Spencer had promised the woman that she would help her find her place, help her heal from the ordeal of Roche, and to guide her along the same path that she had founded. A bit of excitement sparked inside of her, she had shared her knowledge with Qae, but Rosa was someone like her. They both felt emotions through the force for some reason, this made them both good tools for diplomats along with fleets and battle meditation.

Besides all of the business that was going to be done, Spencer was excited to travel and with someone who could possible become a friend.

@Rosa Mazhar
I’m inviting you to join me on a bit of a road trip. Heading down to Aing-Tii to hone my flow walking. Wondering if you wanted to come as well. Other places are marked for stops as well, I hope you can come.
Spencer Jacobs

Rosa watched the engineer circle her ship, clicking his tongue and murmuring as he did, making notes on the data pad in his hand. "You've had this thing for what... a few months. The electrics are near enough fried on this old girl!" he chastised her, and it took all of Rosa's will power not to roll her eyes. She had bought the ship of months ago and it had been fine, that was until the storm on Spira. "What did you do to her?"

"Nothing!" replied Rosa defensively. He shook his head. "It'll take time and credits to fix. Credits which I know you ain't got. Looks like your grounded, Nemo. I'll fix her, but it'll be done when I feel like doing it. Lowest priority...you followin' me?" This time Rosa did not bother to stop herself as her eyes rolled.

"Alright fine. Let me get my stuff." It didn't take Rosa long to pack, while the ship had been her home, she had only ever had the bare essentials with her. To get anything more required her to go back to the Republic, to the Order and then to her family home on Kuat. All places she wasn't quite ready to face. Two bags packed she moved to the ships cockpit, checking her messages. A wide smile found its way to her lips as she read Spencer's message. Redirecting any other messages to her personal communicator, she left the ship, on bag slung over her shoulder, the other in her hand. "Hey!" she called to the engineer. "Is the Peregrine docked?"

"Bay eighteen!" he called back. Rosa waved her thanks and moved away with no love lost for the Golden Rose. It was a good ship, but the prospect of going to Aing-Tii was much more enticing. It took her little more than half hour to find the Peregrine and young Spencer at the foot of its boarding ramp.

"Room for one more?" she called to her as she approached the ship, a wide smile on her face.
Looking down at her booties, she wondered why they were a necessity. Ashin pushed for her to wear at least socks when they were docked and in Space…something along the lines of ‘you’ll get sick’. The Dathomirian child frowned and wiggled her feet back and forth trying to understand the usefulness of the booties. There was a compromise though; she was able to keep wearing the knee length loose Echani training pants leaving her slender calves exposed to the chill of space. You give a little you get a little.

A familiar presence was drawing near and Spencer tucked her feet under her bottom, slightly embarrassed of the booties. Hands resting in her lap she waited till Rosa’s face came into view. A smile spread and Spencer stood forgetting the booties and nodded quickly. This adventure just got a bit better, traveling with someone was always better. Placing her hands on her waist her head tilted slightly, straw colored hair cascaded down her shoulder.

“Of course! I always have room for you Ms. Mazhar. I see that you’ve gotten my message about Aing-Tii – of course it’s a bit of a trip we have a few stops planned along with anywhere you’d like to stop.”

Spencer hinted towards the last part of her words as she knew there was still a lot lingering on the other Empath’s mind. There were several reasons for this trip and for inviting Rosa along, she was sure she could have invited others and she Qae was always down for a trip. Something more needed to happen and Spencer was fulfilling her promise. Ushering Rosa up the ramp she walked around making sure everything was in place and nothing was going to come flying off the walls when they hit hyperspace. The booties were a bit slippery so from time to time Spencer pushed along the slippery floor as if she was gliding on Ice skating on Hoth. The thought entered her mind and she made a mental note to pass by there for some cold activities and to visit her ropo friends.

Giving a bit of a guided tour the two women entered the elaborate meditation and training room. The mats were soft so she slipped off the booties and waved her hand instructing Rosa to do the same.

“We’ll probably spend a lot of time in here; before we take off I want you to know why we’re doing this. Yes, Aing-Tii is the ultimate goal and I want you to learn to flow walk along with me. I promised you back at the bar that I’d help you heal and find a purpose. I keep my promises Rosa, but I want to know if you’re fully prepared for this?”

Spencer stood in the middle of the soft mat and closed her eyes.

Home was the first thing to come to mind when Spencer hinted at stops along the way. She had not been home to Kuat since she had left for the order in the first place. In truth, she'd been avoiding it. Afraid of what she might find lurking in the darkness that she couldn't have seen before. All fears had to be faced in the end though, whether through one's own choice or the firm boot of fate. She merely smiled in response, inclining her head to show that she understood what Spencer meant before following her up the boarding ramp. A quick tour gave her a chance to drop her bags in her quarters before heading to the meditation room.

She let out a soft sigh of pleasure as she entered. She had spent a small amount of time on the Peregrine before she had gotten her hands on the Golden Rose and she would forever remain envious of this room. Kicking off her shoes she joined Spencer on the mat and stood opposite the girl, closing her eyes and opening herself to Spencer. She'd come a long way from the drunken empath Spencer had seen in the bar. There was still a lingering pain there, but it eased with each passing day. Along with it was the fear that came with any new beginning, the uncertainty of what lay ahead.

Above it all though, was her calm determination to see it through, no matter what. "I'm as prepared as I will ever be, Spencer."

Spencer smiled and ran off the mat and headed towards the bridge of the ship. She swung her frame into the pilot’s chair and flipped a few switches and the Peregrine’s engines roared to life. Everything had been prepared; she just needed to make sure Rosa knew what she was getting into. There was no turning back now and Spencer pulled a few more switches and the ship pulled away from the space station. The ship floated and Spencer remained silent as she focused on her attempts at piloting, the Peregrine was the only ship she bothered learning to pilot.

Finally as the Peregrine hit open space, Spencer stood and grasped the large lever. She propped her foot up on the dash and pulled with every ounce of strength her frame could muster. The engines roared once more and the starts surrounding the Peregrine turned to bright lights then to bright lines as they scattered and the ship fired into hyper-drive.

Once everything was settled Spencer turned and faced her traveling companion. There was a smile spread from ear to ear on her face. This was going to be an experience like no other. Resting her hand under her chin, Spencer pondered her next move. There was a lot that Rosa needed to learn from her and Spencer knew if she had to pass everything down Rosa was the only person capable of handling it. It made her think and wonder if the feeling of her time being short was the Force foreshadowing her life. At times it worried her, but she knew if her time was nearly up – she needed to pass what she’s learned down. She had Qae and now she had Rosa, both were the only two at this time that Spencer considered her direct students.

Stepping off the bridge she pondered how she was going to word the start of the lesson. Rosa needed to understand where their experiences were rooted from, everyone in the galaxy: Sith, Jedi, Rogues…everyone in the Force had common forefathers.

“Rosa, how much do you know about the Ancient Je’daii?”

Rosa moved to the viewport in the meditation room as Spencer scampered away. She watched the space station drift out of site giving space the great black sky dotted with diamonds. Closing her eyes, in her small moment of solitude her mind turned to Seroth. "Be safe, my love." she breathed softly, opening her eyes in time to see the star stretch into lines as Spencer plunged them into hyperspace.

Drawing in a deep breath, she exhaled slowly, letting her worry leave her mind and body with it. She could not focus on her own journey if she spent its entirety worrying about him. They were not and never would be joined at the hip, she had to have faith in his abilities to survive whatever was thrown at him.

She turned a small frown on her face as she pondered Spencer's question as the Spencer reappeared. "Not a great deal." she replied honestly, the little time she had spent in the archives had been brushing up on her own skills rather than researching other force using groups "I know that they began on Tython and that they pursue a path of balance, but I never looked more into it than that I'm afraid." she studied the girl for a moment. "I'm assuming that is about to change though."

Spencer nodded as she had assumed Rosa knew less about the origins of both the Sith and the Jedi, this made her job a little bit easier. Climbing out of the pilot’s chair she made sure that the course was set towards Dantooine. The planet would be their first stop and her first time back into Sith space. Narrowing her eyes she activated the cloaking device and used the sith charmed necklace around her neck to scramble her force signature. Rosa on the other hand would prove to be difficult to hide, Spencer had to think on how to move the woman about the Empire.

Making her way towards Rosa, she led the woman back towards the meditation room. It would take some time for them to get to the planet which meant that one of the more lengthy training sessions would be able to go uninterrupted. As they entered a hand indicated that Rosa needed to once more slip off her shoes. It was slowly becoming evident for the reason Spencer remained barefoot, she didn’t have to worry about the taking on and off of her shoes when she entered her sanctuary. The door closed and locked behind Rosa and Spencer remained quiet as she moved towards the wall of the meditation room.

“The Je’daii in their own right is the origin of both the Sith and the Jedi. Their code ripped apart by both sides to fit their beliefs. You’re right they believed in balance, an understanding between the light and the dark. Without that knowledge and understanding of both sides, one couldn’t make an unbiased and understanding choice. Peace is that understanding Rosa. It’s an understanding that the Galaxy has forgotten.”

Spencer ran her hand along the wall and it suddenly lit up and slid away, inside several artifacts laid resting on the shelves. Each of them cleaned and preserved with the most delicate attention. Spencer reached in pulling a hilt of a blade and she twisted it in her hands. Bringing the blade to her nose she smelled the force lingering upon it. The girl had a knack of finding force heavy items and spaces with in the galaxy. The temperature controlled closet shut and Spencer made her way to Rosa. Twisting the blade once more in her hands she offered it to Rosa.

She had heard rumors of the woman being able to use psychometry, a form of flow walking. If this was possible, the flow walking would come only naturally for the woman. Spencer offered the heavy hilt towards the woman. The blade no longer worked, but Rosa would be able to see its story.

“Tell me everything you see Rosa.”

Visions of a lush planet surrounded by two moons, one shrouded in light and the other shrouded in darkness. Whispers of balance echoed in the Knight’s ears as those who now appeared in the center of a pyramid like temple. Suddenly a storm brewed above the planet and threatened to tear it apart, the members of the temple scrambled and did their best to find the source of the imbalance. The storm settled after some time and a quick trial of a ranger being sent to Bogan to study and find balance once more. The visions were quick and undetailed; the weapon obviously didn’t see much until…

War.

Two sides both following one of the moons of Tython, the dark moon Bogan and the light moon Ashla. The force saber warmed and created the blade that was known today as the lightsaber, both sides fought and the saber that Rosa was holding would cut down several members of the Bogan rebellion. The war continued and the planet showed signs of death, the side belonging to the force saber prevailed and in the last instant, the force saber resided on a table its owner in the corner writing something. Suddenly the saber moved by someone else and struck its owner down.

‘For Bogan!’

The saber with the assailant moved from the housing and continued to move down the wasteland that Tython had become. Constantly running, shouts and screams were heard behind…soon the saber fell to the ground and the face of a boy no older than 15 stared lifeless into the weapon. Dirt and the ever changing landscape of the planet covered the force saber until a young woman’s face appeared. A smile crossed her face as she looked at it, Spencer tucked the artifact into her bag and then the weapon found its home on the Peregrine.

Rosa's psychometric ability was not one she often delved into, simply because her first experience of its full extent had allowed her to see the entirety of Darron Wraith's life unexpectedly and in a matter of seconds. It was difficult to separate herself from the ghostly emotions that lingered around an objects memory for they were often so subtle that she believed them to be her own. She eyed the hilt warily before drawing in a deep breath and taking it, turning it slowly in her hands before her eyes fluttered closed and she opened her mind the the aura that surrounded it, pushing further through it to the memories beneath.

She saw Tython in all its natural grandeur and the beginning of a balanced civilisation. One neither giving to light nor dark until the storm rose from the planet itself, threatening to tear itself apart. A great rush to find the source of the storm before balanced was restored. The hilt passed many hands in this time, flickers of faces lost to time. Everything she saw she spoke of softly, words uttered without thought as each memory passed her.

"A War." the word reverberated with the tremors of emotion, powerful and unchecked. War was something they were all to familiar with, she watched as a once balanced society split and a rebellion rose, born from the darkness of Bogan. Each life taken did not need recounting, so she fell silent, tears seeping out from underneath her closed eyes to slide down her cheek leaving a glistening trail in there wake. This was the beginning of the sith and the jedi. This was how it had begun. With a war. A war that would continue for thousands of years to come as each stood for what they believed to be correct.

The face of the fifteen year old boy remained in her mind, and it would for the rest of her days. These were the victims of a war when society lost touch with their true inheritance. Children and innocents. They had all forgotten about balance. Tython had originally taught them to keep it, simply because the planet reacted to imbalance. What did they have now to keep their balance in check?

Eyes fluttered open and she handed Spencer back the hilt, realising for the first time that she was crying. She sucked in a deep breath and wiped her face exhaling slowly and releasing her hold on the emotions that had built in her chest, emotions that were not necessarily her own. For a moment she said nothing, her expression pensive. "Ashla and Bogan." she said finally, "The Light and the Dark. How do you find the balance?"

Spencer watched and she felt the changes in Rosa’s emotions, her decision was right to have the woman experience the life from a firsthand perspective. History lessons could only go so far, but to have a feeling to latch on to – made a world of difference. Spencer took back the hilt and held in her hand, it was warm and she wandered back to the cabinet to put it away. There were several other artifacts that the girl had dug up, but those were for another time and another place. Slowly closing the door she paused for a moment, giving Rosa a chance to regain her composure.

“Balance is something neither side believes in anymore. The Jedi pursue the eradication of the Darkside no matter if they claim a peaceful resolve. Turning someone from the darkside is like killing them because you’re drawing them from the darkness and turning them fully to light. Balance is remaining between them, understanding them and harnessing both its powers. That’s balance, none of those stories of Sith turning to Jedi – both are in the wrong and yet neither see it that way. It’s those that are like me who remain in the middle that are seen as heretics”

Finally moving back towards Rosa, Spencer sighed softly and nodded.

“Things aren’t going to be easy, but if you want to go down this path I’ll teach you everything I know. First to find balance you need to understand the world around you, feel both dark and light and meld them together and make them your own. The Force is a living entity that you partner with, you do not control the Force, nor do you manipulate it.”

Smiling softly, Spencer finished her speech and decided to move towards something more practical in their training. She took in a deep breath and knelt down and patted the mat next to her.

“First step is to remember the feelings you felt during your psychometry the hate from the boy, the belief that the light was the path, and the balance you felt when you first entered the vision. Each of those are what make up the force. Feel them understand them and then center yourself balancing both the dark temptation and the light’s warmth.”

"Nothing is ever easy." she replied softly as she knelt beside Spencer. The words were not spoken with bitterness, but as a matter of fact. Personnel experiences aside, observations of othe peoples lives were able to confirm that matter. One would have thought that a simple wedding between two people who loved each other would have been easy, but Hanna and Kamon's wedding had shown her that was certainly not the case. People liked to make things difficult. Internally, one tended to look for challenges in life, or forever live in simplicity and well...boredom.

As she closed her eyes, Rosa pushed aside her thoughts, letting them go and focusing on that images from the hilt. She started with the boy, feeling his fury as if it were her own. She had felt that before, it wasn't something she was unfamiliar too though she tended to steer from it. Opening herself to such emotion was, somewhat nerve racking. She had opted for peace to recover from Roche, now she was opening the gates for a whirlwind of possible revisits in her dreams. She pressed on, keeping the hate in mind while she drew on the belief of another weilder, a familiar purity that came with the Jedi.

She felt them both, and she understood them as separate entities, but as one they were difficult to meld. For so long she had always seen one or the other, trying to stay in the path of the light, but now...now she understood that the light was, ultimately, no better than the dark. Each side had such huge flaws it was impossible to call one greater than the other. As she meditated, she kept her mind open to the girl at her side, allowing her to nudge Rosa's mind in the right direction where necessary.

Slowly, but surely she began to piece the emotions together, slotting them against one another drawing on them both as she began to build the foundations for balance in her mind.

Spencer opened one of her eyes as she looked over at Rosa; she felt the shift in the emotions and figured the woman was doing as she was told. The younger girl stood up and walked behind Rosa; she placed her hands calmly on the woman’s shoulders and took in a deep breath. It was time to help the Jedi find balance. To do that she needed to face the parts of her life that caused chaos. Spencer closed her eyes and focused her mind on Rosa’s she dug deeper and on the surface the first hurdle would be the man that broke her.

Darron Wraith – lovely how you like to pop up in places…you’re a broken one as well.

She thought quietly to herself remember thing the Grand Master’s attempt at protecting her from Ashin. It was futile, but he was doing his best. Shaking her head, she decided to focus on that and brought the memories of Darron to the forefront of Rosa’s mind. Rosa would enter a dreamlike state seeing the memories played over and over again between her and Darron. Spencer stood in the middle of a room inside Rosa’s mind and waited for the woman to acknowledge her.

‘I chose to start here; your memories of Darron Wraith are the freshest beyond the other’s that I had stumbled across. He seems to plague your mind more than you like him too. So our first stop will be Dantooine, so before then let’s deal with your issues with him. I want you to feel every ounce of emotion you’ve buried about him.’

Images of Rosa and Darron together flashed as Spencer smiled.

‘The love you had for him…the hate…the frustrations, the care. Everything you’ve felt needs to be felt or you’ll never truly find the peace you’re seeking'

There was an sharp but inaudible intake of breath as Spencer began to draw her memories of Darron to the forefront of her mind. She remembered the day he had first kissed her. On a rooftop terrace in Coruscant, just after she had been knighted. the memory seemed like a lifetime ago, but the sensation that she was flying when he kissed her, that came to her as fresh as if it was yesterday. It was taboo, really, for a Master to fall for their padawan the way he had for her, but they both fell nonetheless, keeping it quiet until there was simply no need anymore.

Every memory she brought forward from that point brought a realisation to the forefront of her mind. At every turn, every point he had been there. She had rarely been without him, he was always within arms reach... right until she had truly needed him. When the four walls of life closed in on her, he wasn't there. Was it selfish of her to think that he should've been when he was suffering too? She had been there for him, the loss of the child should not have broken them as it had, they should have supported each other but he had vanished, leaving her with nothing.

Eyes snapped open as the pain she had boxed away came rushing forward, threatening to choke her. She tried to breathe but even that was painful, the desire to run overwhelmed her and scrambled to her feet only to realise she had no where to go. "I can't..." she choked out turning to face Spencer face wet with tears "I thought..." she thought what? That she had dealt with it? The memories were all there now, fresh in her mind bringing with them a torrent of emotion, the last the one that hurt the most was the hate that had come when he had blamed her. When he had returned from his dark hole and blamed her in an instant.

She could feel a scream building in her chest.

A part of Spencer regretted showing her these images. The memories jostled up feelings that were locked away in a dark chest which were placed in the darkest part of Rosa’s mind. Spencer hadn’t expected the woman to fall apart like she did so quickly – just proved Spencer’s assumption at how the woman liked to deal with things. Taking in a deep breath she cut her meditation and did her best to weaken the flood of emotions that were attacking her. Spencer closed her eyes as she took in the woman’s face; it was stained with tears and showed her demons rippling to the surface.

“Good, take all of that and focus it into a construct in your hand. Everything you feel – the hate, hurt, sadness all of it.”

Looking down at her palm she opened it and small black darts formed and then shimmered into nothing. With a flick of her wrist the dark invisible darts flew through the air and cut through a punching back that hung across from them in the training room. It fell with its insides spilling everywhere. Spencer remained calm, but she drew in her aura and masked her feelings with Rosa’s. The other Empath returning to a calm state would only ruin the lesson.

“The Spear of Midnight Black, harness the hate you feel and create the spear. Use your feelings and form the construct – it’s your first lesson”

Rosa closed her eyes, channelling her emotions as instructed. The hatred, the pain, the anger, not just at him, but at herself for believing that she had dealt with it. What would Seroth think if he knew that she still struggled with what had passed between her and Darron? She could feel something solid forming in her hand, its weight strangely comforting, despite her rage.

The slender spear grew in her hand and her eyes fluttered open, revealing something dark behind her soft brown eyes. There was only one time, she could recall using her emptions for an attack and it was an unintentional explosion of emotion when she had lost her child. That though brought more anger, solidifying the construct in her hand. Raising it the spear, Rosa threw it watching it embed in the far wall.

For a moment she merely stared unseeing at it, as her anger slowly ebbed away, and the darkness faded. "That was surprisingly gratifying." she said softly. Though she was no longer angry or struggling with the emotion in her chest it was still lingering.

Spencer watched as the construct hit its mark and she was able to channel the emotions into it. Taking in a deep breath she realized how close in that very instant Rosa had become to possibly falling. The young Master wondered if it was right to continue to teach Rosa the dark skill she knew; though if she didn’t how would the woman know how to recognize the feelings and return to balance. Looking at her data pad she made note that they would be landing on Dantooine soon. Hazel eyes moved from the data pad as it hovered towards a small desk.

“That was good, now that you know how to construct the attack let’s see how quickly you can do it”

As she spoke, Spencer using the emotions that lingered inside the woman she constructed the small spears once more. Three in her right hand flashed and then disappeared, once more a flick of the wrist caused for the spears to fly towards Rosa. Spencer was a healer and she had confidence in the woman before her.

“No use in knowing the skill if you cannot perform it in combat”

Her right hand formed three more spears and flung them towards the woman, 6 in total moved towards Rosa. Spencer moved forward as she attempted to close the small gap between them, if Rosa was going to learn everything Spencer knew, the woman would face the same trials the young Master did.

“Let’s see if you survive this to see Dantooine again Ms. Mazhar”

Rosa's eyes widened briefly, she had not expected such a rigorous first session, but she reacted quickly nonetheless. There was no time to be surprised in a real fight, you had to adapt quickly and respond to each situation as it was thrown at you...literally.

Drawing on her hate as before a spear formed in each hand, the first she threw at Spencer, the second she used to bat away two of the incoming six, creating enough of a gap for her to move into so the others grazed past her, opening small wound in her arms and legs.

She did not stop to think about the stinging wounds though. She retaliated, creating another three spears and throwing them at her tutor.

A barrier of the force expanded outwards protecting Spencer from the constructs. The Master formed more spears in between the gaps of her fingers, they were small and lethal. Memories of Velok bouncing from pillar to pillar entered her mind as he threw the spears at her urging her to dodge and to learn how the constructs were controlled. Rosa was a quick learner, which Spencer grew slightly fond of – they wouldn’t take much time with lessons and would be able to complete the missions at had quicker. Throwing the six small darts towards Rosa once more she aimed for the woman’s torso and the second three aimed towards her legs.

“You’re slow, move faster”

At the last moment as the darts moved across the small gap – Spencer pushed the force towards Rosa in an attempt to throw the woman off balance. There was no intent to kill, if Rosa got too banged up Spencer would heal her and they would continue on. The girl needed to push the woman to her limits – if she couldn’t then why were they here?

There were a great many things that Rosa was, slow was not one of them. She recalled a day in her training with Darron, the days when they pushed aside the truth for the sake of an Order. Things had been easier back then, more focused, she had had a purpose. Regret and anger rippled through her as she moved, calling on the force to increase her speed, she shot to her left, letting the darts pass by her. Spencer's force push made her stumble slightly, but she did not stop.

Face furrowed in concentration as memories flashed through her mind, hands moved to create three darts that mimicked those Spencer had sent at her, a casual flick of her wrist and she let them fly, aiming for her right side. Hands moved again, and she threw two short spears after them. "First time anyone has called me slow."

Finally, she was seeing what Darron had seen so long ago. Stepping back Spencer now was on the retreat as she called upon the force to protect herself from the first attack. Though the second came soon after and Spencer had already dropped her barrier to retaliate. A mistake she would greatly regret. It was quickly that she felt the last two darts and in defense her arm moved to protect her right side. The spears pierced her skin as she took a moment to use Tutaminis to absorb the energy. The dark energy Rosa used to create the spears flowed into her and Spencer had to take a moment to settle.

She didn’t attack anymore, the woman had showed her promise and that was enough for Spencer to continue with the lesson. Looking towards the screen on the wall behind Rosa she noticed their path from the autopilot.

A hand moved towards the wounds on her arm and she started to heal herself to the best of her abilities. It had been some time since she had learned the Jedi healing techniques, but it was enough to keep her together.

“That was good, I feel like you were holding back – please don’t. Ashin never held back when she was training me and I won’t do the same so you need to unleash everything you have to defend yourself against me.”

Spencer paused and patted Rosa’s shoulder.

“If you don’t train like your life is on the line, then how will you ever be able to fight like it. You’ve done good work, rest up we’ll be arriving on Dantooine soon.”

The girl reached for her data pad and opened a message. She quickly typed one handed to someone that Rosa probably didn’t want to see right now.

@[member="Darron Wraith"],

I’ll be arriving on Dantooine soon, I heard of an issue happening in one of the Enclaves that were shut down from the era of the Old Republic. Dark energies have been gathering there from my sources. I know this place is your home – I hope we can work together to stop whatever is festering in the ruins.

Spencer

Tucking the data pad away Spencer smiled.

“I’ve received reports of Dark energies gathering over the ruins of Dantooine. The place was known for several of its students falling to the dark side, so it makes sense that it would be a fruitful place for Dark energies to fester. We’ll be cleaning them out with a help of an old friend of mine if that’s fine with you. Sometimes it’s better to have some muscle to throw around. We’ll be arriving soon gather your things”

Had she been holding back? If Rosa had, it had been and unconscious gesture. Perhaps it because of how young Spencer was, though that in itself was a foolish notion. She had learnt in her time, that youth had nothing to do with anything where the force was concerned, and Spencer had taken it upon herself to travel the galaxy to learn all she could about the force. She was wise and skilled beyond her years, and it took a moment for Rosa to remember that.

She inclined her head to show that she would take the advice on board, holding her tongue about Dantooine. It didn't take much to put two and two together to realise who they were meeting. Deal with the biggest problem that Rosa had first, and then from there, things would be easier, and Rosa's biggest problem, the one that lurked in the back of her mind, that had played a huge part in her fall from the Order came in the form of a man.

Darron Wraith.

She had no words, for Spencer about how she felt. Sometimes words were used too much, but the look she gave was enough to let the girl know she knew full well who they were meeting. There was no anger in her, just understanding despite her apprehension. "Of course, I'm sure we'll need all the help we can get." She managed a smile and for a moment she considered asking the question at the forefront of her mind. Does he know what's coming his way? She decided that not knowing, was the better choice. With a nod, she retired to her quarters allowing herself to feel the exhaustion of the session once the door was shut. It wasn't so much the physical endurance that bothered her, but the emotional stress Spencer had put her through.

Settling on the bed for a moment she tucked her feet up underneath her and slipped into a meditative trance, drawing what energy she could from the force and allowing her emotions to slip away from her. One of the first things she had been taught by Darron, was to accept. The only problem was, that she was never any good at it. Dantooine promised to be an interesting trip.
