"Mako, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo", Kixi cried out as she was roughly pulled away from her and gutted like she was nothing more than an animal. She wasn't expecting the Trandoshan to do that, but then again he was here to execute them so how he carried out the act was really irrelevant. How cruel the world was, she momentarily thought to herself. Mako was nothing more than an innocent victim, and twice for that matter. Soon she would be a victim no more, Kixi thought to herself. However the act of the Trandoshan in the end was a bonus for Kixi, it added the extra fuel to her anger and hate, hate towards the Trandoshan and all those around her watching anonymously and most importantly of all, Terron Hesh. And it began. The ripples, the temporal anomaly, the shift in time was beginning. It could be felt by the Sith above her watching. One of the Lords watching was certain of this. "Stop her, I know what she is trying to do", he yelled out, but it was too late. The hatred that fueled in her mind would temporarily blanket the minds of the Trandoshan and all in the vicinity around her watching. They would witness through her own mind, what she was about to see and do. Kixi began speaking to the Trandoshan in the third person as he lifted his sword.
"He shall never harm me, nor shall he ever get that chance, for he cannot harm one that has never crossed his path." She paused and hissed as the Trandoshan readied his blow to rip Kixi apart. She continued to speak as she could now feel the ripples as the timeline continuum began to distort. "Good bye Vinskk, time is not linear, we may well cross paths again under different circumstances, although one thing is for certain, I doubt neither of us will remember one another.
And as the Trandoshan striked the killer blow, the flash of light, the distortion, it lasted longer than usual for what seemed an eternity. Kixi felt like she was riding a storm, and one that was about to seal her fate once and for all regardless weather she succeeded or failed.
And then silence............................
Kustietera System outer fringes. Milky Way Galaxy. Terran Sol year 2098 CE.
On the bridge of her Daedalus class battleship, Kixi starred out at the viewpoint in space from the ship's bridge. The World Ships of an advanced lizard like alien species were surrounded by the swarm of the Confederate and Atlantean combined forces from the respective Andromeda and Pegasus Galaxies. Terron Hesh, the leading military leader of Kustietera, a planet which had just been freed at the hands of the forces commanded by the young Kixi Rajki, First Prime of the House of Sunrider, one of several noble house comprising of the Sajnen Confederate, stood metres away from her. He held Kixi's first officer Mako Zaneca at knife point to her throat.
Kixi,"The war is over, we....you have won. There is no need for more unnecessary violence".
Terron,"It's not over as far as I'm concerned, not until every last soul of theirs is eradicated from existence".
Kixi, "They are innocent victims of war. Children, families, all they wanted was to live their lives. They blindly followed their military leaders in the false lies and hope they were given. It's not their fault, they don't deserve die!" Kixi pleaded with Terron. She felt weird. It had felt like she had been here before.
Terron, "Innocent victims you speak of? You're a stupid naive fool Captain Rajki. The only innocent victims are the ones who were tortured and killed during the occupation. You seen to have quickly forgotten, the death toll to my people is catastrophic, and at their hands ", he pointed his head angryly to the viewpoint where the alien world ships were clearly visable and trapped.
Kixi,"The war is over, your world is free thanks to our voluntary assistance and this is how you repay thanks to us, by threatening to kill my first officer if I don't bow to your unreasonable wishes". Kixi protested with both her hands out, clearly pleading her case with Terron.
Terron, "Its not unreasonable, you don't understand, you can never understand as it wasn't your world, your people that have suffered" He pulled the knife closer to Mako's throat. Mako fearing for her life tried to speak. "Quiet you!" He pushed the knife onto her throat ever closer and spoke to Kixi once again. "Enough of this! Release the remaining Genghis Virus on the enemy world ships now or she dies!"
Kixi, "This is genocide Terron", Kixi yelled at him. "You want me to commit genocide. I want no part in this. Please Terron, let's be reasonable", Kixi pleaded.
Terron, "Fire the virus now or I'll slash her throat as if she is nothing more than a wild animal", He held Mako close to his body, knife trained on her throat. "Now!"
Kixi felt a strange sensation. It was like she had seen some alien like creature just gut Mako in half with a sword. She shock her head. "What was that", she wondered. The sensation felt strange.
Kixi, "Okay Terron, you win. You win, I'll unleash the virus on the world ships but first let her go"
Terron. "What do you take me for an idiot!" He snapped. "Release the virus first and then I'll release your precious worthless piece of kark here that you call your girlfriend".
All was feeling bizarre. She starred at him and somehow she knew. He wasn't going to slash her throat. No, the moment Kixi would unleash the virus, he would shove that hidden mini bomb down her back, push her away from him, the bomb would explode not killing her, but destroy half of Mako's body who would survive as a cyborg and never be the same again. But how could she know this. She couldn't explain it but it felt she had been here before.
Terron, "Well what are you waiting for, I don't intend to stand here and look at your pretty face all day you stupid little brat. The Genghis Virus, deploy it on thise ships now!"
And this was it, that pivotal point in time, that pivotal point where her fate would be decided. She somehow remembered, a future that had happened but had not happened yet. She had unleashed the virus and Terron had seriously maimed Mako. This was it, she knew it somehow. Altering this one event, will give her back the life she was meant to have.
Kixi, "You intend to kill her anyway".
Terron, "What are you talking about".
Kixi, "I said you were planning to kill Mako the whole time weather I carry out your request or not".
Terron, "That is absurd! Why would I want to do that once the virus is unleashed?"
Kixi, "I don't know, you tell me?"
This interruption gave Kixi the window of opportunity she needed. Terron had slightly loosened his grip on Mako's throat. Assisted with the Force she pulled the knife out of his hand. Quickly she then Force pushed him back. Terron fell backwards and immediately the security team on her bridge had him cornered.
Kixi, "Careful, he has a bomb".
.......... And that was that. The Genghis virus was never fired, genocide never committed at Rajki's hand and Mako never harmed.
Time is not like a river that flows sure in one direction.
As Vinskk striked his blow of death at the young helpless human female Jedi prey, suddenly a white bright light flashed before him, he like everyone else in the vicinity had just witnessed everything, and then, one moment he was in a Sith holding cell, and the next onboard his ship, the Broken Talon, the memory of the hated Kixi Rajki, nothing more than a faded distant memory, if it had ever even existed.
Time is like an ocean in a storm.
At the edge of the Galaxy, the one where the Grand Republic presided in, a Daedalus class starship originating from a galaxy known as Andromeda exited hyperspace. On the Bridge stood its captain Kixi Rajki and First Officer Mako Zaneca. "We have arrived, finally", Mako announced. Kixi nodded in acknowledgment. "Good. Set course for Coruscant. We must warn our Jedi allies of the impending Sith invasion".
