"You did well... stay here honey" Cal whispered in her ear, one of which replied with a sleepy groan. Giving her a parting kiss on the cheek, Cal left the Zeltron girl in the bed alone to throw on his robes. He had managed to pick her up at a party hosted by one of his clients, and for a man of his confidence, it didn't take long to win the beautiful woman over. Although, after some time of intimacy he needed some time to recharge. Being with someone of the opposite sex was exhausting one way or another. This, however, was for a good reason to say the least.
Walking into the living room of his highrise apartment he poured himself a cup of water and walked over to the open balcony that showed the disgrace of Denon as far as the eye could see. The man silently sipped on his drink in deep thought up until a ring came from one of his robe pockets, leaving him to sigh and answer "This is Cal..." he grumbled into the communicator "Have you seen what's going on?" a cold and authoritative voice replied straight to the point, making Cal raise a brow from what he was on about "No, make it fast" He asked back while leaning up against the balcony railing.
"You remember how the sword of the Jedi was traveling through right? well her train just got bombed. Right now, we've gathered enough evidence to pin it on the likely suspect Darkwire. As of late, they've increased their aggression towards our industries and seem to be growing restless. As soon as we received the order from the board our forces were given the green light to begin kicking down doors. Right now, we've managed to eliminate one wanted individual who was a known Darkwire player. More will soon follow..."
Cal grinned at the news and took another sip of his drink, intrigued by what he just heard "Lovely news... the sooner we get rid of those Darkwire brats the sooner Denon can finally become truly great. The same can be said for that Jedi, Valery is it? in my eyes she is better off dead than alive" he grunted with a shake of his head, staring off into the sea of bright lights "Although, it is now clear that Darkwire has made their move. It is about time I make mine."
"And what would that be, Cal?"
"Steps towards a new dawn for all of Denon..."
