Aedric didn't move, so he was doomed to confront the beast.

A loud roar announced the presence of the Terentatek, as it literally broke its way through the doorway into the larger chamber. Its claws were sharp, its hide near impenetrable, and the hatred and hunger in its eyes would resonate with any Force sensitive. It was a beast created to kill Force-sensitive, and it was widely known as a Jedi killer as well. Now the young Padawan stood face-to-face with the monster, and it had only thing in mind.

To kill.

With another deafening roar, the Terentatek began to charge right for Aedric, its claws already coming up before it lashed out with enough power to destroy the ground he stood on. He wasn't there to play with its prey — he wanted to destroy and devour the young Jedi.

"Idiot." He muttered to himself as the creature burst through the doorway. Why had he let himself get so caught up in that moment that he hadn't taken his escape oppurtunity? Was this even winnable for him? Would the Jedi master be able to find her way back down here to help, if need be? All questions that rushed through the Jedi's mind in an instance, not moving from his spot as the Terentatek charged forth towards him.

He took in a deep breath of air, glancing around the room as he dashed backwards off the mark, ensuring that he remained comfortably clear of it's claws as they smashed through the floor. As he glanced around the room, his eyes eventually settled on the debris scatted around the floor from the burst open door, and the now cracked floor. He reached his hand out, reaching out with the force to begin to lift as much as he possibly could from the floor, before closing his hand. All of the debris flying towards a single location, the Terentateks head, hoping to at least daze him from the continous onslaught of stones, and debris of varying sizes.

After the beast had slammed its huge claws into the ground, it spent little time waiting and immediately moved after Aedric again. It had been created with the sole purpose of killing those of his kind, and it was fierce in its approach to make it happen. Its hide could heavily resist the Force, its claws and body were weapons that could tear any person apart, and its sheer size made it extremely hard to get close enough for lethal blows in return.

But Aedric had found one way to target it.

With a telekinetic assault, a lot of debris was flung toward the beast, forcing it to stop its assault and raise its massive claws to shield itself. It roared once more, causing the ground to tremble, but it wasn't quite hurt yet.

<Aedric, I'm on my way,> Valery's voice called out telepathically. He'd hopefully be able to sense her presence already, but it would take some time for her to reach him. Time he'd have to spend keeping himself alive, as the beast suddenly jumped towards him in an attempt to crush the Padawan.

He couldn't run for ever, the creature would eventually either catch him or shepered him into a dead end. One of these two things seemed like an inevertiblity from where Aedric stood, and so he once again cast his gaze around the room. The debris hadn't hurt him, but it had caused a reaction, and a moment to breathe whilst it deflected the debris.

He wasn't sure how many of those attacks he could pull off, both due to exhaustion on his part and how much the debris would break down in it's connection. However, a voice calling out telepathically bought about a sense of relief, and calmed any building nerves for the Padawan. It wasn't a fight he had to win, he just had to not lose until Valery arrived.

As it once again leapt towards him, he hopped back once more, raising his hand once again to lift the debris around the room. His attack was seemingly the same as before, as he closed his hand into a fist, pulling all the debris towards the beast. However, he dashed forward towards the beast at the same time, assuming both claws would be raised to deal with the debris. Using this, hopefully, moment of vulnerability, he slashed his blade to the side as he passed the creature, aiming to slash the saber across the backside of it's knees.

Once more, the beast charged and once more, Aedric responded. The rocks and debris he sent towards the creature forced it to raise its arms defensively, which shielded it against the attack. But in keeping itself protected against the rocks, it failed to track the Padawan, who managed to get behind the Terentatek and lash out with a strike at the backside of its knees. It roared in pain, as the plasma left a fairly shallow cut behind, but it was enough to hurt and anger it.

More strikes would be needed to penetrate its resistant hide, but it was by no means immune to the Jedi's weapon.

In its rage, the beast began to stomp its feet on the ground, causing it to shake violently while more debris fell down from the ceiling. The ancient structure wasn't built to handle a beast of its size, and it showed as the doorway into the room finally collapsed, seemingly trapping them both inside.

"You should have listened."

The voice of the spirit from before called out to Aedric, as the beast closed the distance and attempted to corner him, before lashing out with its venomous claws. If it couldn't tear the Jedi apart, brute force would have to do it.

Figuring out the intelligence of this creature felt as if it should be a priority, as if he could draw out a reaction without any attack, then it would afford him many more oppurtunities during this fight. However, any degree of it being too smart, or too dumb to react to a feign would likely spell his own defeat.

However, the collapse of the door effectively killed any hopes of him experimenting, as now the retreat options were seemingly very limited. As the voice boomed out around him, Aedric let out a small laugh. Mystery temple man certaintly had a point, he should of listened, but what's done is done. No time to dwell in a fight.

As the beast rushed him, Aedric dashed towards the center of the room, ducking as low as he could as the claws slashed out at him, avoiding them by seemingly a hairswidth. The middle of the room offered some more security, as he was surronded by space to escape into, which afforded the experimentation chance that he had hoped for. He slowly backpedaled further, in hopes that the beast would begin to approach him, and close the distance. If it were to do so, Aedric rose his hand, exactly in the way he previously had done, as if he was about to raise the debris once more, before closing his fist, the usual tell of him bombarding the beast. However, nothing would follow, except from Aedric once more dashing forwards, and past the beast, taking a slash at the same leg as earlier, in hopes that it's guard had raised to the feign.

While Aedric moved around, the beast followed with just one thing on its mind: killing and devouring the Jedi Padawan with mindless aggression and rage. It didn't matter where he'd go or what he'd try — the Terentatek followed, driven by its most primal instincts to feast on Force-sensitive blood. It allowed Aedric to lure him into the center of the chamber, where he once more seemed to prepare an attack.

An attack the beast had encountered before, and was preparing to shield itself against.

But when it expected debris to lash out, there was nothing, and by the time it looked down at the Padawan, Aedric was already on the move. With how big it was, the Terentatek couldn't react fast enough and screamed in pain as his blade struck the same limb again. It wildly swung its arms around it in response, not even to hit Aedric, but just to keep it away while it tried to recover. But if things weren't already bad enough for it, another presence appeared.

Through the door that had been obstructed by debris, Valery phased her way into the chamber like a ghost before drawing both of her lightsabers. Their violet blades ignited, and her eyes turned to Aedrid, "You okay?" she called out before moving closer to team up with him.

"You found yourself quite some trouble here."

The feign suceeding was huge for Aedric, as now it possibly could doubt it's own instincts regarding that motion. Perhaps he could actually land that barrage of rocks, as it could expect another feign. However, that was hardly the concern at this moment, as the beast was swinging its arms wildly, and Aedric wasn't comfortably out of it's range yet. He once again dashed into the center of the room, glancing around to review any more possible options. Either another feign and attack on the left leg, or attempt to barage it once more. Both held risks, and he'd have to wait for the right moment for either.

The familiar sound of light saber ignition caused the Padawans head to snap around, almost letting out a sigh of relief when he saw it was Valery. "I'm fine." He confirmed, his breaths slightly laboured as he spoke.

"You wouldn't even believe what happened... Some force ghost holocron thingy from the Artifact, and then this.. Thing attacking me." He explained, turning back to face the beast.

"If you want to attack it, it's left leg is quite damaged, I think it'll fall after one or two more hits, unless it's much tougher than I think it is."

Well, it certainly sounded like he had been keeping himself busy. A sith spirit, holocron and now a Terentatek? She was honestly just glad that he was still alive at this point, and she knew a lot of that could be contributed to him staying calm. Perhaps a little too calm, but she wasn't going to complain right now, and rushed over to his side to stand with him.

They had a Sithspawn to deal with.

"Let's take it down together. I'll draw its attention and open it up to an attack for you." As much as she could take it down on its own, working together was the better option, and should it go wrong, she'd be there to help the Padawan.

So with that said, Valery blasted forward and straight for the beast, who watched her approach and readied itself to attack. Its huge arm went up and slammed down towards the woman, but Valery didn't move to evade. Instead, she raised her own arm and telekinetically froze the beast mid-attack.

"Now!"
