Lori just grinned as she was able to dock her little fighter into the HUGE Star Destroyer. The Valkirie looked like some metallic monster that could devour them whole and spit them twenty leagues away. It was kinda funny to think about.

~Roger that, Valkirie. We'll see you soon!~ She switched off her comms and was about to prepare to bring the Grey Sparrow in to dock when an Interceptor arrived. Lori squinted her eyes for a moment, not recognizing the vessel at all. And seeing how it wasn't opening fire, she hazarded a guess that it was a friend rather than a foe. Of course it would be kinda cool to watch the Valkirie blow someone out of the sky...

Lori turned her focus back to the task at hand and followed her brother's ship inside the landing bay. There were plenty of other ships in the area, but still it looked huge. One she landed her little bird gemtly, she powered it down and then unbuckled herself. Already she spotted [member="Caedyn Arenais"] before her canopy was open. And what was that with him? Some kind of little fluffball. A walking fluffball!! Awww! Lori quickly hopped out of her ship, landing on her booted feet with a heavy thud. "Hi Cae! What do you have there? It's so CUTE! Can I touch it? Does it have fleas? Where did you get it? Did Mom or Dad get it for you?" And the questions just rolled out of her like a neverending sentence.

She was about to run to the landing bay but she heard another voice speak over the comms. She glanced to Rex, who began to walk off speaking with someone she hadn't seen before. She heard something about Adara, the Mand'alors premature baby, but was unable to gather more information than that. The look she catched from [member="Rex Taff"] was of concern, worry. It made her ears slightly go down before she looked back to the microphone. "This is Beth Australis of Clan Australis of the Mandalorian Empire. Welcome [member="Jake Awaud"] of Clan Awaud. We are performing a piracy patrol as there has been several pirates spotted recently. There is a [member="Loreena Arenais"] docking now. I have given you security clearance to land as well."

If she was under his care, it was probably important that they met each other. In either case, she quickly ran towards the landing bay, arriving there after a few minutes. Most likely, both had landed and were already on the ship, chatting away.

Once she arrived, she realized she had no idea what the protocol was for greeting a Prince and Princess. A moment of panic before she simply gave a nod to the two siblings, her ears perked with excitement but with a slight twist of curiosity. The small animal that was with [member="caedyn arenais"] was adorable but she resisted the urge to begin cooing over it.

She reached her hand out to them, "Beth Australis of Clan Australis, but I guess we kinda already met over the comms. It's nice to meet you guys in person, officially." She gave a warm smile to the twins before finally breaking down, "And who is this cute little thing? Oh my goodness, you're so cute," she spoke to the dog for a moment before redirecting her attention to the two. She perked a brow to Caedyn, "Are you okay? It looked like it almost got really dicey for a minute... Lori, there is a guy named Jake that we authorized to land," she shrugged, "he said he was from Clan Awaud and was looking for you. I don't know if we need to hide you or not." She had a twinkle in her eye - she was partially joking but if the girl did need a hiding spot, Beth would be happy to assist.

 

[Caedyn Arenais]

Caedyn grinned as he first found his Sister standing before him having docked in alongside the Repertoire, the little bird of hers fitting much easier within the second half of the Hangar given it's size. Truthfully, it was easy to forget just how much they missed of each others lives given they used to always be together day in and day out yet now [member="Loreena Arenais"] was just laying eyes upon his little Yorshi, Ashla whom had been with him for a few months now.

"Her names Ashla, I got her from a place called Leritor" he began to explain rather than greet her first; no need for such formalities in the company of someone whom knows you best. "Master Hex said I could have a pet if I wanted one. We travel all over the Galaxy...-I found this little girl on her own out in the wilds and she was just a pup so...-I sorta rescued her" he smiled fondly down at the critter, truly his pride and joy if ever there was one.

It was only now however that he noticed the others approaching them and turned his gaze to find [member="Beth Australis"] being instantly familiar, "I knew I recognized that voice!" he exclaimed with a smirk, "You're the girl that tricked me into getting attacked by your wolf friend...-Thing, whatever it was!" his words would have seemed confusing to his sister yet the amusement and laughter behind them would hopefully indicate just how civil and non-threatening the two were with one another now. Beth had inquired as to how he was feeling after the run-in with the pirate vessel that had attacked him and this time he sort of just shrugged his shoulders a little indifferently, "He kinda had me outnumbered and out-gunned...-You see the size of his ship? The Repertoire's not built for fighting...".

Lori crouched down and stared at little Ashla. She never dreamed of owning a pet, especially one that was wild. She didn't reach out to pet it, instead giving it a little gentle boop on the nose. In truth she didn't think that she could have a pet. There was no time. Plus the areas that she tended to be were dangerous, or she was on Jaster's ship. Maybe when she was older she could have one.

She got to her feet as [member="Beth Australis"] came by, taking hold of her hand and giving it a firm shake. "I remember you from the wedding! That was so crazy, wasn't it? Are all Mando weddings like that?"

She stopped her questions the moment that [member="Caedyn Arenais"] seemed to recognize Beth. "Attacked by a wolf-thing? Cae you were tricked? Why am I not surprised?" Lori grinned as she teased her twin brother. Oh how she missed him! "Thanks for coming to his rescue, Beth. I could have handled it, because I'm awesome, but with the Valkirie, I'm sure that many turn tail and run! I hope to have that power sone day..."

One day she will. One day.

 

[Jake Awaud]

It would seem that the star destroyer had a slightly different captain then before. Unless [member="Rex Taff"] turned into a female since the last he saw him, it was possible the man was dealing with repairs after a confrontation with the pirates. Jake know though that the ships that fled were Sith, the transponder feed from the UTC Probes in the area confirmed it. However, it was not his place to make assumptions, Jaster was the politician, Jake was the fighter.

Once the security clearance was given, Jake pulled his starfighter into the docking bay and parked it in one of they bays next to the other. Opening the hatch and stepping out, he was in his full Mandalorian Pilot Gear and saw no reason to take the helmet off. When he noticed his droid was not leaving the Mech Hole build for an Astro-Mech he slambed on the side of his ship, "Come on Elma, dont be shy, they wont hurt you," He whispered to himself, "I hope."

A M-1 Astromech dropped from the pod where it was hiding, in a flurry of angry beeps and whisles it rolled up to Jake and knocked him in the knee with one of its extended arms. <Why do you call me Elma, its M1-E3, and thats a female name?>

"Really?" Jake just tapped it on the head like he was knocking on a door, "Come one, gotta make sure this Lore girl is okay, Jaster will scrap us both if shes got even a scratch." He stating this without realizing the three other children in the room and thinking he was alone. Taking off his helmet, and showing his face, the hiss of the pressure difference between the inside and out. Looking about the room he finally spotted [member="Beth Australis"] [member="Caedyn Arenais"] and [member="Loreena Arenais"] standing together. "Su'cuy, vode, I am looking for either captain Taff or a small Mandalorian Girl names...." He pulled out the post-it note one more time, "Loreena?"

The Droid beeped and whisled again and tapped on his leg again. <The one with the brown hair, she's Lori>

"Elma, you know I cant understand you, so why do you think I can?" Jake was confused as to why the droid keep attempting to communicate, he liked to droid, but speaking droid was difficult. It took some time to even get the basics of it all, his brother could hear it perfectly, Jake on the other hand skipped that class.

Beth beamed that both of the Arenais siblings actually remembered her. She was surprised she was that memorable. She immediately had a flashback to the wedding - that was... An interesting wedding. She giggled and shook her head, "I... Sweet Goddesses, I hope they are not." The giggle turned into a bit of a laugh, "It was really crazy. Cassi was so embarrassed. People on the HoloNet can be real creepers."

She gave [member="Caedyn Arenais"] a big grin, "Yep, that was me! Sorry about that, again." Her ears turned down a little. Beth still felt a bit guilty for tricking the boy. It was fair, considering the situation, but still. He had been extremely kind to her in her relatively lost situation. He didn't have to be as kind to her as hew as, and as such, she was grateful. "He is a Gurlanin." She gave a weak smile, her facial expression clearly hoping for a change in the conversation. Ambrose wife had been killed in an attack recently - pirates had kidnapped the Mand'alor, Cassiopeia, and Kaden hostage. Yasha, the Mand'alor, had her baby during that event. She hadn't seen him since it happened. That had been a terrible day, in truth.

She nodded towards [member="Loreena Arenais"] and to Caedyn, "I'm glad we showed up when we did. One of Rex's friends had been attacked recently along this way, so patrols have been stepped up. It seems to be getting kinda dangerous. We may need to give you an escort on your way back." She gave Loreena a wink, "You will!"

Her ears naturally became slightly curious as Jake approached, cautious. She wasn't sure how he was connected to Loreena although her eyes glanced towards her and back to [member="Jake Awaud"]. "Rex is..." She paused, thinking about how she heard the name Adara. "I think he's busy." She would allow Loreena to make herself known. She wasn't going to out her to someone if she didn't want to be.

 

[Caedyn Arenais]

Caedyn grinned back at [member="Beth Australis"] as she apologized once more for the sneak attack the day of the war-games, the boy soon turning to smirk back at his sister looking to explain a bit; "Some kind of war games Mom put on for the Commenori and the Mandalorian Empire, it was all play-fighting really". Caedyn soon glanced back to Beth and chuckled a little, "And you don't have to say sorry, it was all for fun and stuff!". It was curious to note the name of her friend though, the wolf-changing Gurlanin? Caedyn wasn't even going to try pronouncing that one.

"Lori and I were gonna meet on Korda Six before that ship turned up outta nowhere..." Caedyn replied in answer to Beth's comment about things seeming dangerous within the sector, [member="Loreena Arenais"] beside him having just missed all the action, though Caedyn a little thankful for that as he didn't want his Sister getting into any trouble because of him. "Are attacks like this normal in your guys territory? I don't really know a lot about Mandalorians but I've heard they're really good warriors" a fairly common assumption and myth around their kind of people, a lot in the galaxy mistook Mandalorian's for savages given their history of war and conflict both within and outside of their culture.

Caedyn's attention would soon be turned towards that of [member="Jake Awaud"] not knowing the man nor seeming familiar in the least bit, Cae more or less assumed he was a friend of the others, being the only real non-affiliate of the Mandalorion Empire amongst them all. Despite his primary focus in life, the strange newcomer wouldn't recognize Caedyn's like, being that he weren't dressed like a Je'daii and carried his CS.38 holstered against his hip. His Lightsaber however hung from the back of his belt just a little to the right for an easy draw, this weapon more of a giveaway and a concious one as Caedyn had also heard the Mandalorian's weren't too fond of Force Users. Come to think of it, he soon wondered if they knew Lori's force sensitivity.

Lori grinned as [member="Beth Australis"] agreed that she'd be able to cause people to turn tale and run. Wouldn't that be classic? Then she could chase them down while wearing her jet pack Ol'Sparky. Speaking of which, she just remembered that she had brought it with her. "Be right back!"

While Beth and [member="Caedyn Arenais"] praddled on about the war games, Lori was scampering to the Grey Sparrow and climbing into the cockpit head first. Her bottom half was hanging outside of it while she fidgeted and pulled on her jetpack to get it out from under her seat. "Oh come on!" Her muffled voice was heard elsewhere while her feet kicked in the air. "Aha! Got you!" With another kick Lori rebalanced herself and jumped down from the cockpit with a thud.

A split second lster, she was on her way back to the two, her hair a complete mess, just as she heard [member="Jake Awaud"] say her name. And that he was looking for her. Honestly! Was she really a small girl?

Lori shouldered her jetpack and sauntered over to the man, looking over him and his droid, with her free hand resting on her hip and confidence in her approach. "I'm Loreena. Who's asking?"

 

[Jake Awaud]

Jake was a little confused as to what took up Raff's time to leave control of his ship to a young warrior. However, if he did so, then she was worthy and a skilled commander. It was said that Raff loved this ship more then he loved serving Battlemaster Kaine. A joke mostly, but a fun little quote from some of the other pilots.

He nodded to Beth, "Well apologies for the late introduction," He stood at attention and looked to [member="Beth Australis"], "Clansman Jake Awaud, Warren Cheif Officer and Commander of Squadron One, Mandalorian Recon Wing 343, orders from Alor Jaster Awaud to protect Loreena Arenais in case she causes trouble or sustains injury, here are my orders and permission to stay aboard Acting Captain."

He handed Beth a Data-Pad that stated his orders from Alor Jaster Awaud, along with the seal of their clan and that of the Council of aids to the Mand'alor.

"My brother was very adamant about the security of you ma'am." He was now turned to answer [member="Loreena Arenais"] question, "So I'm here more as an escort should thing get out of hand, from what it sounded like, Jaster was really concerned about your safety this time around."

Rex was busy with information on the mand'alor's premature child. It wasn't going well. It sounded like she might die even. So Rex was neglectful of his charges and had sent [member="Beth Australis"] to go and meet them. He was looking through several old medical books for anything to help finding nothing. It enraged him slightly that he couldn't find anything. So he decided to go meet his guests. Making his way off the bridge leaving it to his XO.

He arrived and saw [member="Caedyn Arenais"] and [member="Loreena Arenais"] as well as [member="Jake Awaud"]. He heard the man have orders to be acting captain. "I am afraid captain of this ship is me ner vod and Mandalorians are always welcome. Sorry I have been such a poor host, there are things in motion that have required my attention. Anyways I am Rex Taff good to meet you all." He would smile He would wait to see what everyone was doing already seeing a connection between Beth and Caedyn.

"Caedyn it is good to see you again, say hello to your mother Lady Kay would you for me." He would turn to the last person in the room. "Since I have met or at least seen everyone else in this room before that makes you Loreena, a mando and ner vod. It is a pleasure to finally meet you. I have heard stories of your duel with my alor Kaine. I can't wait till the day I see you in action." He would then stop and ask "now would anyone like some refreshments or something to eat? we aren't a diplomatic ship but we have foodstuffs."

Beth watched as [member="Loreena Arenais"] ran off to her ship. Beth perked a brow, wondering what exactly she was grabbing with her long ear perked slightly too. She giggled as Lori was trying to get something out of the ship, half of her in the cockpit area and the other half out. Man, that wedding though... Everything that went wrong totally went wrong with it. She shook her head at the memory. The system ended up coming under Mandalorian Empire due to the actions by one of the government's officials during the wedding. What a crazy time to be alive. Ultimately, Cassi and Raiz were happily married and that was the most important thing.

In either case, she gave Caedyn a shy smile and nodded. The war games were for fun and stuff. She had fun, even if she was slightly terrified of getting hit by a stun gun again. She shivered slightly, remembering the electric pulses going through her body. That part was not fun. In either case, her attention was turned back to Caedyn as he explained his situation more. Lori and he were going to meet up on the planet but then a pirate showed up. She nodded, the wheels in her mind turning. It was surprising that a pirate ship would be so brave inside Mandalorian space.

She shook her head at [member="Caedyn Arenais"] question. "I don't think so. There is the usual, but it's not a common occurrence or anything. We are, but we are also good at a lot of other stuff! Like engineering, medical, education, and other stuff. We're not all just fighters."

In that moment, [member="Jake Awaud"] showed up. Her eyes widened as he explained who he was and called her... Acting Captain? She stared at him for a moment, not really believing that he really thought she was the acting captain. After her brief moment of shock, she was just about to grab the datapad and act like she was. But... [member="Rex Taff"] showed up right in time to stop her from pretending to be something she wasn't. Slightly disappointed, but resigned that it wasn't her place. She nodded, "Some of its really good," she could confirm with a grin.

She leaned over to Lori with a whisper, "I was kinda worried, some random dude trying to find you."

Now that [member="Jake Awaud"]'s intentions had been made clear, Caedyn turned his attention to the older Mandalorian and cocked his head back in some slight surprise. It was interesting that his Sisters Master in the Mandalorian Empire felt she needed a baby-sitter. Caedyn didn't know the cultural workings of the Mandalorian's like the rest of them did but he still doubted that [member="Loreena Arenais"] couldn't look after herself and even if that were true, her brother was there to have her back this time round.

"You don't have to worry about Lori, she's with me. No one's gonna hurt my Sister" he spoke up, confidence and a sense of pride coming through in his voice as his eyes darted back to his Lori in order for her to see that he meant it well and true. With all their jokes and playful banter, at the end of the day he would do anything to keep his Sister safe and hell hath no fury for those that try to harm her in front of his eyes.

[member="Beth Australis"] was still standing near to him when Caedyn turned to look back to her with an appreciative smile as she explained how she thought Mandalorian space usually was. "I guess the CSA has pirate problems now and then too, I'll just have to be more careful next time" He gave a half shrug and grinned, clearly feeling better about the situation now with friends within sight. [member="Rex Taff"] would soon join them and give Caedyn further cause to smile as the man remembered his face and mentioned his Mom. "I will ! It's nice to see you too Rex" he replied enthusiastically, "And thank you guys for your being there! It was really good timing, I didn't see the guy come up on my sensors until the last second" he admitted after showing his appreciation.

"Food sounds great !" he concluded with a grin as Rex had asked them all if they wished for something. Caedyn hadn't eaten in a little while now and had been intent on getting some lunch or something with his Sister, but now seeing as they were all onboard a really awesome ship, he decided it'd be cool to see what kind of food they have on it. He imagined people could live on the thing for quite a while before running out; the ship was massive after all !

Lori's confident smile slowly faded as [member="Jake Awaud"] explained who he was and why he was there. [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] sent him to find her in case she causes trouble or gets hurt??? He sent her a babysitter?? She didn't know whether she wanted to scream in frustration or remain silent out of spite. Of course it wasn't Jakes fault, so she couldn't be directly mad at him. Still, she was quite unhappy about it.

She looked to [member="Beth Australis"] for a moment as the girl whispered in her ear, almost wishing that Jake was some stranger trying to hunt her down for some nefarious reason. That'd be less embarrassing. And maybe more fun.

Lori nodded to her brother as he expressed his confidence in his ability to watch over her on his own. As always, she trusted in that, for there was no one closer to her than [member="Caedyn Arenais"] and she would protect him with just as much ferocity.

Her attention then turned to [member="Rex Taff"] as he arrived, her jaw dropping slightly as he mentioned her spar with [member="Kaine Australis"] . Was that being talked about? What about the tournament that she was in where she took on an armed veteran Mandalorian with just her fists and feet? Sure she sustained a lot of injuries during that fight. But.. at least she took the hits without complaint.

"Yeah, thanks for your help. And food sounds great." Her jetpack was momentarily forgotten as it hung on her shoulder. Right now she was trying to find her cheery self again. Yet it was difficult.

Jaster had sent her a babysitter.

Oh how EMBARRASSING!
