SETTING INFORMATION
  • Space Station Name: UTS-2657 (The Mysterious Bazaar)
  • Station Model: UTS-2657
  • Classification: Merchant Station
  • Location: High Orbit above Anthemoessa, Unknown Region
  • Affiliation: United Trade Conglomerate
  • Population: Moderate
  • Demographics: Galactic Mix as is a Trade Station
  • Accessibility: Known to many Criminals, local merchants, and explorers of the Unknown Region
  • Traffic:High, Located at the intersection of the Blood Trail and the Jaster Trade Spine so ships always moving through.
  • Description: UTS-2657 was created as a transit station for some of the many traveled ships throughout the Unknown Region. However, as the Company became under the control of the First Order they lost contact with the station authorities. Once the First Order collapsed it was not the end of the companies troubles and they again had to focus their attentions to the home front. With limited attention from the company and other authorities, the station became a cesspool of criminal activity and corruption on the highest account.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Ringed Bazaar - Along all the docking ports and shuttle bays, the inner ring of the station is made up of stands and shackled places of trade. The station was meant as a transfer platform of goods between already set deals, but due to corruption many traders set up shop in the halls of the large cargo transfer modules. Most of the goods are on illegal markets, and in doing so, the station manager gets his kickback for allowing it to happen on his station.
  • Gladiator Pit - One of the bigger attractions of the spacers who are in between transit contracts is the Slave Fighting Pits. No one knows where the beings who fight come from, and as they are not near home many do not care. Good food, entertainment, and gambling is available to all at the station.

SECURITY
- The Security at UTS-2657 is on par with many other station under the employ of the UTC. As such the protection of said property is always on the highest concern. Security is tight and everything is monitors with state of the art systems. Thought the UTC is unable to continue to oversee the station, its blind trust in its management allows for continued upgrades to the station due to its high profile profits in the Unknown Region. The Station also receives state of the art Weaponry, Battle Droids, and Station Defense Fleet as per regulations of the Company. Its strong Economic Location outweighs its limited oversight in the eyes of the Board.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
- The planet of Anthemoessa was first flagged by the United Trade Conglomerate as a planet of importance of the great East-West Hyperlane creation. It was flagged as an important planet because of its location along the Blood Trail, a Hyperspace Lane created by the Legendary [member="Mara Merrill-Valkner"]. Once the strategic completion of the Jaster Trade Spine, it was decided that the planet was in need of a transit and fuel station for the many ships that would transit the area. One of these locations would become UTS-2657, a station of great importance that it was boosted in security clearance and top level resupply.

- Station UTS-2657 continued to be the leading figures of income for the company. Bringing in some of the Unknown Regions most interesting goods, the company was able to export those to industries as competitive prices thanks to the stations low docking fees and fuel prices for ships under UTC Contracts.

-- This could not last however, as once the Company Headquarters were conquered by the First Order in the early years of their campaigning. The Station continued to have support from the home office, but it soon became a smuggling hub for the company out of First Order Space. As such it was given a level of autonomy and freedom to get their mission completed and continue to bring in profits for the Conglomerate. This level of freedom allowed for the seeds of corruption of the stations representatives to be sown. Dealing with Smugglers, criminals and syndicates
