    SETTING INFORMATION
    • Structure Name: The Mynock Cave
    • Classification: Sanctuary, Hideout.
    • Location: Coruscant
    • Affiliation:
    • Accessibility: The Mynock Cave is located underneath and within the ruins of the ancient Coruscant Jedi Temple. Sealed entrances whether by caved in tunnels by overt amounts of rubble, or hidden behind a trap door
    • Description: Rugged. Buried beneath tons of rubble and debris, it was only navigable through a handful of hidden and treacherous pathways that eventually lead into the lower levels of the Jedi Temple. More of a tunnel network than a singular room, the various paths lead off in countless directions that are impossible to be maintained by one person.
    POINTS OF INTEREST
    • Command Center: A room secured behind a manufactured blast door, it features an amalgamated supercomputer and additional consoles that display a plethora of information used in his operations. It also doubles as a primary security centre to see the goings on in the various tunnels that have been explored by the Mynock and planted with hidden cameras and sensor devices.
    • Armoury: Various Thyrsian weapons adorn the walls and racks, ranging from rifles and pistols, to spears and knives. Armour, both of thyrsian make and his own vigilante-styled suit are stored here.
    • Meditation Room: Closer to a training room, the room is designed to be as close to Thyrsus as possible. With mats and tapestries from Aelys' homeworld, there are PROXY droids, seemingly smuggled out from the Temple above, programmed to fight like past Jedi Masters and a few observed Sith Lords. The room neighbours the armoury.
    • The Fall: Or 'Vehicle Bay' features a perilous drop into a black pit that surely means death. A single platform stands above it, with a single walkway leading up to it, clearly damaged and likely beyond repair. Seemingly impossible to traverse naturally, occupants are required to be skilled users of the Force or with the capability of jumping exceedingly large distances to get to and from the platform.
    • The Tunnels: Varying in size from warehouse to crawl space, due to the sheer size of the ruins and the extent of the tunnels going on for miles, key junctions are home to hidden security devices meant to either surveil or deter foreign entities and creatures from progressing deeper inside the Caves.

    SECURITY
    Medium.

While the Mynock tunnel network is supported by holocameras, hidden traps, secret entrances, quiet alarms, and other sensor traps, the Jedi that calls this place home is not always around. Coupled with not always being around, technology also has its failings. And so the Mynock banks more on the hazardous state of the labyrinthine ruins and the lengthy duration it'd take for a person to traverse the tunnels for its protection.

    HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Dark, dank, and dangerous. The ruins, recently dubbed after Coruscant's Jedi Watchman, the Black Mynock, was an ample location to be used to train the skills of a Jedi. From the darkness teaching to turn inwards and hone a Jedi's Senses, to the dangers of a perilous fall, or the threat of being crushed beneath an ill-supported canopy. It was a place to train ones body and mind in the time of the Third Imperial Civil War.

Heavily trafficked by Ryv Ryv , his Padawan, Aelys (later known as the Black Mynock), and close friend Dagon Kaze Dagon Kaze . It was there that the duo of Kaze and Karis brought an out of place Aelys closer into the New Jedi fold, and honed their abilities as young Jedi.

Prior to the ending of the Imperial Civil War, Aelys abandoned the path of the Jedi after experiencing the fruitlessness of war. Refurbishing the tunnels that he had trained in years ago, Aelys disappeared from the Jedi, and adopted the mantle of a vigilante in the Coruscant Under Levels. A location that he felt he could better effect change, rather than doing battle with Sith who'd rather die than be redeemed.

Secret and forgotten, the Mynock Cave did not see a wide use until the final days of the Alliance Senate's investigation into the New Jedi Order, and the Brotherhood's Sacking of Coruscant. The source of Dagon Kaze's call for aid, during the battle the Mynock Tunnels were one of the routes that Jedi Younglings and those ill-suited for combat took to escape into the Under City.

Utilizing Alliance tapped comm frequencies as a source for his investigations and hunts, the Black Mynock uses his command centre as a staging point to safeguard nearby areas affected by the Brotherhood's attack. Typically venturing out to hunt leftover Sithspawn that got too deep into the underworld, being one person on a city-planet the size of Coruscant undoubtedly has made the task of safeguarding anything more than a few Levels impossible.
