- Description: The Murakami are a splinter sect of Nightsisters who severed ties with their kin after uncovering a faith older than the stars. Devoted to a malevolent god, they are known for their Magick-imbued swords and for dark rituals performed in its name.
The coven's founders made a pilgrimage to Neko Ilnayia Kanyon, seeking power far from the weakness and failures of the Nightsisters. There they meditated among the Murakami orchids that grew in the canyon, convinced the flowers were a living conduit to their dark god. In reverence, they took the flower's name as their own: the Murakami.
In self-imposed exile, the founders began to forge new ways of channeling Magick, methods they believed honored their god more truly. In time, they abandoned the Nightsister traditions entirely.
- Membership: There was once a long-winded initiation ritual for new witches who claim to hear the call of Erebos. Their mental would be tested against the raw force of the dark side in the deepest crevices of Neko Ilnayia Kanyon. Now, as the Murakami have nested aboard the Malsheem, their initiation is much more relaxed. Their matron, Elani Zambrano, looks over potential new witches and decides whether they are worthy to serve their god.
- Motives: As the black sheep beneath the Great Devourer, the Murakami seek out great disasters and calamaties. In these moments, the witches grow closer to their divine enlightenment and call out to Erebos in gratitude for his judgement. They will put themselves at the epicenter of mass casualty events and epic tragedies.

- Notable Force Skills: [ Does this tradition focus on, or have special expertise with, trademark Force abilities? Does it involve rituals? Does it require songs, incantations, gestures, or objects of focus? ]
- Notable Force Limitations: [Does this tradition neglect, ignore, forbid, or poorly understand some kinds of Force abilities? For example, the Jedi tradition has typically excluded alchemy and lethal Force abilities, the Sith tradition has typically excluded healing, and don't ask an Ewok shaman to cast Force Lightning. ]
