Dawn

Edison Bulkhead awoke slowly, blinking into the slowly fading darkness of the coming dawn. She was covered in a light but warm blanket, and beneath wore nothing at all. Her head ached, and her mouth tasted like seaweed and anger. Beneath the witch, her bed moved, rising slowly, then settling again. An earthquake? she wondered hazily.

No. She set her hand down. This isn't ground, she thought. It's too rough, too coarse, it's...

Flesh.

She scrambled to her feet, the blanket falling to the not-ground, leaving her naked in the approaching light of day. Looking to her left, she saw, beneath her, a torso.

A torso. I fell asleep on a torso.

She had been drinking. She'd met a giant. An actual giant. An actual, Force-using giant.

Edison turned her head slowly to the right, knowing what she'd see.

A giant head, nose pointed at the sky, still asleep.

"Amazing," she murmured aloud. "He doesn't snore." Why did I fall alseep on top of a giant? And where are my clothes?

Reaching down to pick up the blanket once more, she looked down at her left hand. There, on the third finger, was a beautifully carved wooden band.

"AND WHEN DID I GET MARRIED?" she yelled into the morning.

(Think I'll change the backstory on this post a bit... Thought of something funnier)

"Where... The hell am I?"

Josh let out a groan as he sat up. He remembered being at some sort of wedding...

Had he drank a bit too much Circe Green Ale while he was there?

He could hear voices around him.... Endor began to come into view as his blurred vision began to clear.

"Did I miss the reception... Or did the reception hit me a bit too hard?" he muttered.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
With a grumble, Circe waded through the brush, her Epi-appearing body none the worse for wear. "Ugh..."

Then she sensed someone familiar.

Then someone not so familiar.

She looked down at her hand and saw a ring.

But was it Ashe's ring?

Nope, just part of the illusion.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Bosch slurred. Never EVER try to have a drinking contest with a pretty lady. For the time being, he was here to sit back and relax.
But he couldn't remember what had happened last night.
He remembered a wedding somewhere.
"Ugh... So weird..."

(Changed my first post to fit better. And cuz it kept cutting through the background)

He cracked his neck as he looked around, sitting up straight.

Force sakes, what was with this pounding headache? How much had he drank, exactly?

This little vacation of his had gotten weird... FAST.

Quick OOC: I'm assuming none of you are anywhere near Edison and her new husband Urmax at the moment. If you are, I should point out to those of you who didn't read his bio that he's 20 meters, or 65.6 feet, tall. Just putting that out there. :)

The giant was laid out on his makeshift bed (between two massive Endor trees), and only dreams of some odd night entered his mind. A marriage celebration, a strangely wild night for a monk, and...

Urmax opened his eyes and looked around him, slowly, before settling his eyes on [member="Edison Bulkhead"]. In the buff. Covering his eyes with his massive hand, he chuckled in way that made his belly bounce as he did so, glad that he was used to sleeping with his monk robes on.

"Good morning, Miss Bulkh-" He paused, slowly moving his hand away from his face (but still blocking his vision of Edison) as his eyes drifted down to the large wooden ring on his finger. It wasn't a dream. He was married.

Large eyes blinked, then closed as he reached down past Edison to rip off a bit of his robes and hand it to her.

"I would prefer you to be clothed, lest any of my people show up," he said, a grimace on his face.

Edison's arms shot out as the giant laughed, barely keeping her balance as his body quivering with mirth.

"Th...thank you...Ur...max?" she guessed. Urmax. And he'd referred to her as "Miss Bulkhead" all night, except just before she'd fallen asleep naked on his mountainous chest, when he'd whispered in voice like distant thunder, "Good night, Edison." But it wasn't a guess. She held the length of cloth up to her chest, her eyes drawn to the massive wooden band on the giant's finger. Her own hand trembling, she held up her own hand and yes, the carvings matched precisely. The intricate detail on her own ring, so tiny in comparison to the giant's, was staggering. With only her front covered in stunned half-modesty, she moved farther up the giant's chest until she could look past the tremendous nose and focus on one of his enormous eyes. "We...hunh. We...did we...M-word? Because..." she held up her left hand and pointed to her ring finger. "Do you? Um..remember...anything? There was laughing and dancing and drinking. A lot of drinking. And you and I found a quiet spot away from the others and started talking about nature and animals and there was so much drinking, and I dared you to do...something. I can't remember. And you dared me. And we...because there was an officiant. And there was...'Are you sure?' and we said 'Yes!" and he said, 'Wait, really?' and then I told him to shut up, and you...did you threaten to beat him, or eat him?" Edison sat down on Urmax's chest near his shoulder, pulling the giant's robe-end around her shoulders. "He didn't really perform the ceremony, did he? I mean, that'd be..." The witch couldn't remember leaving that many sentences unfinished before in her life, but honestly could not focus her mind enough to finish any of them. Fear and Excitement chased each other around her head, with Reality closing fast and whispering: You know you did. You know it's true. And you know how much fun it was, you bad, bad girl.

No, Edison yelled at herself. There's no way we did that.

Don't be stupid, she told herself. Of course not that. It's not physically possible to do that with a giant and you know it. I'm talking about the deed itself.

Oh. Well that's different. And shut up.
