PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: (Orbital Defense Platform, Orbital Fighter Dock)
  • Length: (Via Metric System. Max: Differs based on manufacturer and affiliation. See Factory Rules)
  • Width: (Via Metric System. Max: Differs based on manufacturer and affiliation. See Factory Rules.)
  • Height: (Via Metric System. Max: Differs based on manufacturer and affiliation. See Factory Rules.)
  • Armament: (You may provide your armament in list format and must provide your station an Armament Rating. (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme. Armament Ratings are scaled in relation to the class of installation, meaning a satellite will not equate to a orbital platform. Armament Ratings provide only basic weaponry (ex. turbolasers, ion cannons, concussion missiles. laser cannons, etc) unless the ship also has a description of weapons. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Links: Starship Weapons, Approved Technology)
  • Defenses: Extreme
  • Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters/support craft this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. [For typical sizes see equivalent Size of Starship.])
  • Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity.[For typical sizes see equivalent Size of Starship.] )
    • Starfighters: x squadrons
    • Support Craft: x squadrons
  • Maneuverability Rating: Very Low
  • Speed Rating: Very Low
  • Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship's strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)
STANDARD FEATURES

  • (Provide all of your submission's standard features, including non-combat items, here in a list -or- alternatively simply state 'all standard features'. This includes all features that are common for vessels of this class. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Links: Starship Weapons, Approved Technology, Shields, Engines)
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • (Provide all of your submission's advanced systems, including non-combat items and special weapons, here in a list. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Stealth technology and other advanced systems may require other weaknesses or reduced ratings for balance. Ensure significant capabilities from systems are included in the Strengths and Weaknesses lists. Examples include: Stealth systems, Advanced ECM systems, Crystal gravfield traps, HIMS, Molecular shields. Links: Starship Weapons, Approved Technology, Shields, Engines)
  • Sith Meditation Chamber: At the heart of the Ziggurat lies a Sith Meditation Chamber, like those at the center of Meditation Spheres. While inside, Erebus is able to observe the temple-station's surroundings and make his will into reality, commanding his undead legions and raising new ones from the safety of his inner sanctum
  • Force Transmitters: Like those on Sith Meditation Spheres, Erebus can channel his power through transmitters made of sarrassian iron to deadly effect
STRENGTHS
  • Welcome to My Domain: The Midnight Ziggurat is the center of Magnus Ignosi's power, and as such is a strong nexus of dark side energy. The living feel a dread chill and devotees of the light feel their energy sapped, while practitioners of the dark arts find their fell magicks empowered, especially when using Sith Necromancy.
WEAKNESSES
  • She Turns Like a Boat: The Ziggurat, being a mobile temple, isn't exactly built for maneuverability, and more nimble ships are capable of outmaneuvering it incredibly easily.
  • Speed Is(n't) Key: The Ziggurat is intended to mainly serve as a temple, albeit one capable of movement if necessary.
DESCRIPTION
The Midnight Ziggurat is the mobile temple station of Magnus Erebus Ignosi of the Sith Thanatocracy, constructed in secret thousands of years ago beneath Exegol's surface by the Sith Lich's legions of worshippers, and serves as the seat of his power. At first glance, the Ziggurat appears to be an "average" Sith temple, but when the need arises the temple is capable of raising upwards and taking to space, which it was required to do when annihilation came to the Sith tomb world.

In essence the Ziggurat functions as an enormous temple-shaped Meditation Sphere, and from his sanctum atop its peak Erebus is capable of channeling the Force to great effect; able to see entire battlefields beyond its walls, project disastrous bursts of Force Lightning, or extending necromancy rituals to resurrect a legion at once. Of course this does not come without its cost, and such powerful exertions leave even the great Lich drained, forcing him to recuperate before they can be attempted again.

The sanctum atop the Ziggurat functions as a "bridge" of sorts, and within lies Ignosi's sarcophagus, where he can rest and regenerate after great expenditures of energy or being wounded. Veins of sarrassian iron resonating with the Dark Side snake throughout the structure, and while in tune with them Erebus can sense the presence of lifeforms and both channel and receive power. In the bowels of the Ziggurat is a large ritual chamber rich with the Dark-side-attuned iron, where necromantic experiments can be done, and an altar within allows for sacrifices to be performed and the life essence transferred through the veins to Erebus' sarcophagus. Assuming a steady supply of sacrifices can be maintained, this allows for the self-proclaimed Magnus to recuperate and regenerate faster than he would be able to do alone.

Of course, this mighty temple is not without its weaknesses. When it does fly, it is incredibly slow and incredibly unresponsive, like a boat turning in molasses.
