SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Severing Ties: When the crystal is infused into the hilt of a lightsaber, and the lightsaber is powered up, it potentially disrupts or blocks out the connection of the Force of anyone other than the one the crystal is in tune with. If it's a Darksider caught in the web, they can experience high bouts of anxiety and nervousness throughout their mind and body.
  • Definable Blade: The blade, a by-product of the compressed synthetic crystal, is thinner than a traditional lightsaber blade, and hotter. The thinness of the blade has two positive attributes. The first, it allows for extremely fast attacks such as strikes and slashes through better control and precision. The second, it allows for better recovery time for mounting a defense against melee weapons and blaster fire.
  • It's Mine!: The crystal, like all tuned crystals, works directly for it's owner. When this crystal is inserted into a lightsaber hilt, the lightsaber is only operational for the user the crystal is tuned to.
WEAKNESSES
  • Synthetic Nightmare: Due to the crystal not being a natural geological creation, the crystal is unstable and highly vulnerable to cracking and splintering without outside input.
  • Fragility Nature: Again, the synthetic process in which the crystal was created caused it to be very fragile. To much pressure, like handling it, can literally break the crystal in half.

DESCRIPTION

Ro-Tahn sought to create a personal and unique crystal for his lightsaber. Traditionally, the Jedi sought to utilize the kyber crystal for their lightsabers, but Ro-Tahn was not the traditional Jedi. He scoured the Jedi archives on any information pertaining to synthetic kyber crystals. Finding loosely collected information on the creation of synthetic crystals, and a few locations in which he could find a geological compressor, a machine used to create synthetic crystals.

The machine location he had chosen was on the planet of Mustafar, a lava planet with historical connections to the Dark Side, the former Galactic Empire, and one Sith Lord known as Darth Vader. Secretly, he undertook a special mission to Mustafar in hopes of the machine being fully operational.

The planet, he noticed, when he arrived still bore the scars of the Empire; but it was the presence of the Dark Side that was his greatest concern. The Dark Side was famous for corrupting even the smallest of creatures, which was a concern if forced to confront these mutations. However, the far more greatest concern was not to allow the Dark Side to corrupt him. He was a stout believer in the Light Side, and from all the tomes and texts and materials he read back at the Jedi archives; the Dark Side preyed on such devoted individuals.

After two days, he finally located a lab deep inside some ancient structure that resembled a now ruined
castle. Even before he found the lab, he felt as though someone or something was watching him, though nothing eventful happened.

The machine, covered in lava dust and fallout, surprisingly still functioned. He let the machine run for a couple of hours before settling down to create the synthetic crystal. Luckily, the lab contained the necessary carbon minerals to fabricate the crystal; which he successfully loaded into the machine. Per the resources he read about the formation of the crystal, he sat in quiet meditation whilst forming the crystal and bonding it to himself.

However, something occurred during the process. As he sat there on the dirt covered floor, dark visions crept into his mind; haunting visions of death, pain, and suffering. He struggled to break himself from these disturbing sights, yet the more he struggled the more the invisible tendrils of the visions tightened. Finally, the visions vanished as he broke from the meditation trance screaming and sweating profusely.

And there, sitting on a blackened tray was a orange synthetic crystal. It wasn't until he infused it into his new lightsaber that he discovered the true effects of the crystal's ability.

Just one thing for you,

Severing Ties II: As mentioned in the strengths section, it can sever the Force of anyone within a two meter radius of the wielder's exact location. That means friend and foe alike will be affected.
This is by definition "calling hits" which means that it cannot be defended against, which is not allowed in the factory. If you could please, remove this feature, or add some function for the afflicted to fight past this effect. (i.e. force of will, etc.)
