STRENGTHS
- The Force is With Me: The Lorekeepers Scepter gives greater power towards those who seek it. This can even show what the person is truly good at upon using it.
- Lightsaber Surprise: Each Lorekeeper Scepter has a hidden lightsaber at the top, which can be twisted and ignited at will.
- Beacon in the Force: Using the Lorekeeper Scepter in any capacity drastically improves their Force Signature, making it rather hard for them to hide it.
- Force Drain Really Hurts: Those who use Force Drain while wielding the Scepter would feel excruciating pain, forcing them to let go or possibly die from the pain.
- Cannot Stack Lorekeepers: Being a Lorekeeper does literally nothing to your power in the Force whatsoever. All it does instead is help manage the emotions and not accidently set off Force Powers due to emotions.
- Force Nullification: If it negates the Force, it negates this Scepter.
The four Scepters of the Lorekeepers came from Darth Nervik Kai, a powerful Sith who created the four Scepters to give order and create peace for his time. They were given to his four apprentices, Vodik, Cheia, Necrid, and Ulrik. The four would lead drastically different lines but was given the powers of that of a Lorekeeper, able to shift and turn the tides of battle...though infighting proved to be the most dangerous. Ulrik was the first to go, being struck down by the Jedi on a small moon to which the Scepter was recovered and placed in a Jedi Vault long forgotten. Cheia would go next as Necrid decided to take over parts of the Brotherhood of the Sith and struck him down to take his own power. After hearing of this treachery, Kai and Vodik cornered Necrid as the Battle of Hoth commenced and right at the end, had struck down his apprentice Necrid for good.
As the sounds of battle were over, Kai and Vodik agreed that the Scepters were never to been made in the first place and departed ways with Vodik keeping his Scepter to be buried somewhere that no person could find on the planet of Hoth. Kai would take Necrids Scepter and place it in a burial chamber on Korriban, deep in the underground caverns to be laid to rest with Kronos, the first Lorekeeper to keep it well guarded. Kai himself would pass away with the Scepter being buried with him on a quiet home near Ryloth. Many Millenia would pass as the Scepters would be found, to be used for good and evil. However where they all are now, is a true mystery.
The only one truly found by current records was by Jegy Sesara who had traveled to Dathomir, finding Vodiks own Scepter hidden among the Nightsisters. Exchanging in trade a holocron of great importance, he acquired it and took it back to his place on Dantooine and laid to rest in a vault for several centuries. Now that had all passed, it was decided to be passed down to someone else, Wilhelm, son of Cedric Grayson. Watching carefully, he wonders how the boy will progress...and where the other three are now.
