GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: None
  • Domain: None
  • Notable Assets: None
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: Generally by oldest member, currently Jegy Sesara Jegy Sesara . Throughout history, it is generally been given to the oldest member by merit of survival alone as being a Lorekeeper was a very short profession. Death was very well known throughout the Founders line and starting with Liatik, it was established for the Founders Line to be kept quiet over their life style, following a patriarch kind of lifestyle. If there is dispute over who would be in charge, generally the most powerful will take charge which is generally, the oldest.
  • Membership: Estimated at around Twenty to Thirty. Becoming a Lorekeeper is either by being a product of one of two hierarchy lines, being cursed from a deceased member of a Lorekeeper, or ingesting high amounts of a Lorekeepers blood. The most common bloodline would be the Soul Bloodline as it had been more propagated throughout the years from Mithak, a well known Rodian Warlord who had many wives. The Founders Line also had a unique person that did the same which was Ferris but was known to kill his children off. It is unknown how many survived from the Founders Line fully but is expected to be much smaller. Most do not know their abilities as a Lorekeeper until discovered either by pure accident or by being told of their true nature. Being cursed requires angering an old Force Ghost from one of the tomb/grave which is currently of the following: Ryahtik, Ferris, Varis Minks, and Mithak Kiah. Ingesting requires capturing a LoreKeeper and ingesting much of their blood to inherit their abilities and has not been documented other than the attempts. None so far have succeeded.
  • Climate: Most Lorekeepers throughout history have been considered serious in their regards with a few exceptions. The climate however when a few get together is always of great secrecy and of serious nature, no one visits unless they are of direct family linage. There are exceptions to this for training and those wishing to band together for a singular cause but most of the time, conversations are kept short and erase most traces of them ever being at that location. Some that had created organizations past theirs are generally short lived as their dangerous nature deems them of a high risk and as such, generally eliminated in quick fashion. Current Hierarchy Leader, Jegy Sesara, is training those he finds out and tries to instill a path of light, instead of one in darkness that many have fallen to over several millennia.
  • Reputation:
The Lorekeepers are generally a forgotten figment of the past, requiring a good amount of research to find out about. The official records of Founders and Soul Lines can be found in some old texts but the most information is on the Founders line, detailing the tragic events that followed from father to son till Liatiks time ended in the Sith Empire. The Soul Line is rarely if ever documented, most of it detailing the history between genetic history between Darth Renatus to Jegy Sesara with the most prolific aiming at Mithak Kiah, the Rodian Warlord who boasted his claims till it got him mortally injured which cost him his life decades later.

For the viewpoints of the Light Side of the Force, they are considered a bane and a curse on the Force, considering most to be of Dark Side in nature as their line is notorious for creating some very powerful individuals that have slain numerous Jedi, notably Ryahtik, Ferris, Darth Renatus, and Jegy Sesara. Of the four named, only two were redeemed through the Light Side of the Force with the former having been assisting the entire time with no choice given due to his state. A Light Sided Lorekeeper is incredibly rare and those discovered untrained are considered to be temperamental, having considerable care required to train them towards the Light Side of the Force. The only notable member still remembered is Kronos, whom is memorialized with his bust on Tython with following inscription: "It is never to late to walk along the water of Light.", a small tribute to when Kronos decided to become a Jedi, decided to walk on the lake with other Jedi to hear the sermon of a Jedi Master.

For the viewpoints of the Dark Side of the Force, they are considered one of the most powerful bloodlines ever created, considered to be the Forces answer to Kronos for attempting to disrupt nature, by destroying him with his own heir. The history of Lorekeepers are generally celebrated for their acts against the Jedi though most notably the tragic tales, cautious tales of how power can overwhelm even the most powerful. Those of the Sith generally when found regard them in either high fashion or consider them a large threat to their own rule, given their reputation for disposing those in power at the time. When found, they are generally trained quickly to harness their aggressive nature early on but to also temper their rage properly as they are most notably dangerous when angered. They are generally used in large scale battles, putting them generally in the second line to allow their aggressive nature in the Force to take out large sections of enemies at a time, all the while keeping them well guarded those most of the time, they do not even require protection.
  • Curios:
A small diary that is kept with the logo of a small book wrapped with arcs of lightning. No Founder Line ever had a unique thing to distinguish one another though those that rumored to have survived have adopted this Curios rather quickly to ensure they were of that blood line. The diary is generally for the Soul Line, having to keep one on them as it is unique to each owner though the arcs of lightning are in reality, from a popular image from Darth Renatus, demonstrating his power to Sith Acolytes at the time by arcing it all across the sky. This image can be found in old historical texts and media as it was a popular image for its time in the Sith Empire. The reasoning behind it was how difficult it was to trace such lightning arcs across the book and those who question it, would merely ask "The Father of All?" to which those that know reply "Of which Two Fathers?", symbolizing either Kronos or Darth Renatus in their respective lines as the first. The book and passphrase was created by Mithak Kiah to identify those of his heritage along with his children. This was later adopted by Jegy Sesara after meeting his great grandfather and taught to others when discovered.

A small interesting fact that seems to resonate as a more definitive way of identifying a Lorekeeper is known as "smoking". A Lorekeeper pulling on tremendous amounts of power in the Force would have their bodies start smoking physically, their own bodies partially burning on the outside as it would actually give the odor of smoke. While more widely known for those pooling their powers into the Force in others to achieve this, a single Lorekeeper can do this on his own without burning their own body out or killing themselves. They also appeared to be mainly unharmed after such an event though those who do it for a long periods at a time record being exhausted or simply in great internal pain, requiring hours to several days of rest.
  • Rules:
There are no true religious beliefs in their members aside from the truth that the Force exists in all people. Most that are religious stem from either own personal family or ancestors beliefs. Most notably is the Big Green Fish, a deity among the Chadra-Fan and is believed to actually exist after a possible chance encounter from Jegy Sesara, passed onto his son Crane Baxa whom his mother also believed in. Another interesting rule seems to mainly stem from the belief shared between Mithak Kiah and Jegy Sesara upon meeting each other and that family was considered sacred above all others. Due to this, it is commonly taught to be faithful to those they have partnered with and to raise their children right as history shown time and time again, fights between their spouses or children can turn incredibly violent.

Fights among one another is considered extremely dangerous and as such, are generally not permitted if not on the basis of training. The reasoning why is due to how the Founders Line has no known surviving members, how they actively killed each other on the basis of preserving power and who was right over the other persons wrong along with their history of sons and fathers killing one another. It was decided with Mithak Kiah that all arguments between members are to be talked through before resorting to violence as violence even on a small scale can be devastating to those around them. Those that must fight to resolve their differences are to go to an unpopulated area, specifically on a barren planet to reduce the amount of damage. If anyone dies, it is expected as such given the nature of their disagreement.

Notable fights include Kronos and Ryahtik on Hoth, who melted the snow around them on Hoth during an encounter and caused a base nearby to collapse into a ravine. Ferris and Liatik whom the later produced over a thousand mynocks to distract Ferris, destroying many notable power relays and with Ferris botching the ritual, created an inferno that engulfed half the town block in Force Fire which was not extinguished until four days after his death, effectively burning down a quarter of the city along with an infestation of mynocks that could not be eradicated for over a decade. The most recent ever recorded was between Mithak Kiah and Goutewea whom miraculously settled their dispute without death from either side, though caused a Star Destroyer being built at the time to being reduced to sheer scrap metal from both users attempts at the Force, one freezing the structures while the other exerting/creating pressure on key stress points throughout the whole structure, effectively destroying the whole thing beyond repair but also thankfully, without lose of life.
  • Goals:
Survival is considered the most basic of all their goals as their numbers are quite small and how prized they are to certain groups in the galaxy, great care is taken for their secrecy and very few know of the entire organizations existence unless they have gained their trust. Having been threatened from Ferris on purging his own family line, from efforts of rebellion groups such as Echo on harnessing all of the Lorekeepers power from Jegy Sesara, it is imperative to keep their families safe without fear of abuse or use from others.

Preserving the Knowledge of the Force is another common goal found among most of the Lorekeepers as most find out rather quickly that aging can be a difficult process at times, generally in times of grief or in their ability to stop aging itself. Due to this, most are considered scholars and as such, can have a lot of documented history from their time periods and some are known tomb dwellers. Most notable of this are Liatik, Varis Minks, Jegy Sesara, Crane Baxa and currently, Mithara Colen. Liatik is the most well known as he delved into numerous tombs to tame various Sith Spawn creatures to his will in his efforts of enacting revenge against his father, Ferris.

Finding a Cure for this Force Curse has always been a dream for most of them, allowing their children to decide their own destiny instead of living a life of constant vigilance. By most accounts, they have all ended in failure with those notably attempting being of Liatik and Goutewea with the later only realizing after passing on his genes what horrible curse he may have passed on. Only one currently known to have merely reduced their own Force Curse is Jegy Sesara, whom went through the Lands of the Netherworld and achieved even greater power, only to give it up to revive his former bride Sun. It is unknown whether the Netherworld finally was the reason why his powers in the Force were diminished or if simply giving up so much power at once to bring someone back to life was the reason. Regardless, he is currently the only one recorded to have gotten any progress so far, while still having a good deal of power from his bloodline.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Lorekeeper bloodline was started by the then Sith Lord, Kronos. Kronos was at the time, with his wife which only by records was known as a Rattataki. Devastated to learn that he himself cannot bear a child with her, he conducted a ritual with all his knowledge in the Force to help create a child through genetics. What resulted was the creation of the Lorekeeper line which every member of the line can have child with any other species, except with unexpected consequences, with their own species. By most accounts, the mother is what is taken as most of the DNA, producing a pure blood of their species though in rare cases, it can be done from the father though the ratio chance is one in a hundred and can be considered sometimes fatal given the species. After her unexpected death and eventual rampage, learning to keep his newborn son safe, Kronos defected to the Jedi and rose to the rank of a Jedi Master, overseeing the Council of Knowledge.

Ryahtik was to all intents, a pureblood Rattataki. After being seduced by the Dark Side of the Force and by a seductress, he betrayed the Jedi and murdered the Council of Knowledge and later, his own father Kronos. Once welcomed back into the embrace of the Sith, experiments were conducted on his own blood and DNA to discover what had occurred. The results were a bit astonishing. First it revealed the horrible truth of being able to have child with anyone except your own species, it also discovered that no matter what, at least eight percent of your DNA was pure Sith. This eight percent of DNA generally increases the temper of the Lorekeeper, something each one attempts to keep calm along with blood lust from the Founder Line, not so much the Soul Line. Another interesting discovery is their expanded use in the Force, seemingly able to do feats unnatural to others which the massive downside was that if anything drained them of the Force, they could become very weakened and unable to move though it can be overcome with training. After several years, including siring a child known as Ferris, he passed away by an unknown disease, some rumored to have been poisoned.

Ferris is known for being an Alchemist, creating things that were considered, unnatural. During this time, he was also known to be quite a womanizer, siring multiple children which included a Twi'Lek child by the name of Liatik. Fearing after a few years how much offspring he had created, he sent out assassins to kill off his offsprings and those he sired them with, eventually killing Laitiks mother. Liatik would survive and become a renowned Beast Master, rising through the ranks of the Sith Empire after several years. As Legend goes, Ferris was off to seduce a local member of the city council when in turn, he ran straight into Liatik whom could feel their unique connection in the Force. At that point, the two engaged in a duel where Liatik would emerge the victor, slaying his father in a fountain of victory, named after the Sith Empires conquest over the planet. Afterwards, Liatik vanished from the public eye and their families afterwards would not discuss the nature of their existence.

Nervik was the first human born in the entire line, becoming a special forces operative in the Republic to try and bring down what was left of the Sith Empire. During this time, he learned of a new project known as the Lorebook, conducted by Darth Kai. After realizing his special connection to the Force and escaping the Sith Empires grasp after a botched undercover operation, he trained in the efforts to overthrow Darth Kai. After two years of training, he created his own Lorebook and battled Darth Kai along with his minions to which, he suffered mortal wounds with Darth Kai proclaimed victorious, but not without having the soul transferred into the body of Darth Kai, overtaking him and forcing him into Nerviks body. Quickly, Nerviks old body was decapitated and Nervik assumed control of Darth Kais body, calling himself Darth Nervik Kai or by another name, Darth Renatus.

Darth Renatus would keep going day to day operations of his previous occupants body, attempting to disrupt whatever he could against the Sith at the time. Slaying when necessary, he kept the balance in his region and gained a reputation for being a rather cruel Force User. On examination on his own blood type, it had morphed drastically from before. The Lorebook, known as a Force Artifact, had permamently infused some of its ritualistic energy after having the soul transference. Given the nature of the blood type, it was kept and retained with the now named Soul Line being cursed to keep some form of diary mention after so many years to keep track of all Force Techniques until their eventual passing. It was an impulsive desire and if destroyed, they are forced to create another one soon as they could, sometimes using their own blood as ink. Moreover, it became rather well known through some operations that his Force Signature had increased, making him much more obvious to be found. Darth Renatus would soon fade from public life in the very later stages of his life, siring one child to where he kept secret of his previous occupation, keen on letting the old line die out naturally.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. Little is known past Darth Renatus in the soul line but the following was uncovered. Varis Minks was a Bothan that was a known smuggler, having unique foresight abilities on flight plans and later, onto his own foes. Gravesite was discovered on a barely habitable moon, on a crash landed site where datapad enteries showed he went mad, apparently not knowing how to handle his own abilities and at the time, was a known serial killer. Mithak Kiah would be the next true Lorekeeper, a warlord on the planet of Rodia. He was an accomplished Mercenary, helping hold down his clans section over the course of many years. Using the Force, he kept himself young and ageless for over six hundred years but sadly, a grievous injury would cease it around 400 ABY and allow himself to pass thirty years later of natural causes.

Goutewea is a recorded Jedi Knight around Nabooian Crisis, having very little information found on him. Rumor was that he was barely around and frequented tombs more than he did the Temple. Figuring out his secret, he believed it was needed to pass down his genetics and as such, found a couple that was infertile and donated a sample to allow them to sire a child which would become Jegy Sesara. Jegy Sesara would be active during the Dark Times, becoming a special forces agent and later as an Inquisitor and Enforcer for the Galactic Empire and would be the last prolific Lorekeeper as of this time, being well known for his manipulation of weather patterns. Having several bounties on his head and with the closure of the Galactic Civil War, he went into hiding and with his grief, became ageless till 858 ABY, finally having closure and resumed aging. He had sired two children of that time from two different women, one of which was Crane Baxa.

Crane Baxa is a Chadra-Fan and technically a Prince as his mother was a Princess to their clan in royalty. Raised with Jegy, he was quickly sent away due to the dangers posed by his profession. He would then run away from home around the age of fourteen and turn to a life of crime, becoming a well known figure in a resurgence known as the Exchange. After being captured by his partner turning him over, he would be frozen in carbonite and is still in a vault room to this day, displayed for his incredible abilities in stealth and speed. He sired one bastard child, whom no records exist of.

Renair Naki is known as the latest Lorekeeper, keeping the royalty title from the Baxa family. His role in this is currently unknown, currently being trained.

Mithara Colen is the first known cursed Lorekeeper individual, having disturbed Ryahtiks tomb. His role is currently unknown, currently still figuring himself out.

Current structure existence is more on the hush side, most do not know of its existence and is kept that way. Jegy Sesara is the known clan leader of the Lorekeeper bloodline. It is currently unknown of any surviving members of the Founders line. The Fourth Line, known as the Injested Line has not had anyone discovered as of this point, this is from an act of drinking large amounts, generally enough blood to kill the Lorekeeper in question, and from it, have their body go through the rather painful exertion of becoming a Lorekeeper and has no offical records though several have attempted over the centuries from Echo to others. There is no known cure for this curse/blessing though Jegy Sesara has weakened it through an unknown encounter.

Below is the Abilities of Founders and Soul Lines along with their weaknesses.

  • Goals: Survival, Preserving the Knowledge of the Force, and Finding the Cure to their Curse.

Everything looks pretty solid, but with a group like this I feel its necessary to expand a little more on these qualities so that anyone who wished to create a character following this lore would be able to. Also provides proper information for anyone reading this. Adding a few more sentences to each part would be wonderful answer the "Why" Like Why are there no religious beliefs, why is death the usual go to for settling a dispute of argument. For example, if I'm misinterpreting it, might be a good route to clarify and such.

This is a super interesting group, I look forward to your elaboration on them in the submission.
