- Ancient Fabricator: Whatever you put into the drop spindle, you'll get out of it. Anger, fear, joy, sadness, or more complex traits such as patience, pity, or love will each produce thread of different thickness, strength, color, and quality.

- Merely Cloth: The drop spindle is used to weave thread for various fabrics. It is unsuitable for creating armor, as these fabrics are typically no more resilient than civilian clothing and can be easily damaged.
Minacara Linalis was a Je'daii Knight who lived on Tython in ancient times. During a period of flux, the planet was thrown into disarray, suffering numerous natural disasters. While others fled, Minacara stayed in order to rescue people who were trapped due to typhoon flooding. In the process, she lost her life.
For her heroism, she was given a hero's burial. A fine stone tomb was made for her eternal rest, filled with many treasures. Some of the items she was buried with seem to be more practical, such as this wooden drop spindle. But this is no ordinary spindle. No cotton or wool can be spun into thread by this device. The only raw material it will accept come from the heart. By focusing on it with the Force, the user can create thread that reflects their mental or emotional state.
