Sasha Santhe

Sasha couldn't help but admire the youth, saving the poor defenseless woman and rushing headlong into battle. Not that she needed saving of course, but he didn't know that. It was cute really, [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] acting exactly as you would suspect. A schoolboy trying to impress a crush. It was really all too adorable.

Watching his speed Sasha was impressed, and the way he moved about spinning at the target. It was wasted movements of youth, the type she did when she was his age. She had liked to dazzle and impress when she took out her saber. The boy went to decapitate the droids head but the minute the saber touched the body of the mechanical monstrosity it flickered out of existence. Pure Cortosis.

Jumping from under the table Sasha went to the wall and pressed a button. The droid turned its attention toward Sasha and fired multiple times at her before she jumped under a table once more. A few minutes later several droids showed up. Santhe security. The droids started to fight one another and one fell to the ground, an electrostaff sliding across the floor onto the ground. Sasha started toward it ready to pick it up in defense of her home.

The enemy was apparently a droid, something that surprised the boy. How had it managed to get this far, unnoticed? The crimson blade of Tugoro's long saber would impact with the robot's material, before shorting out. The metallic hilt would fall uselessly to the ground, spinning rapidly before hitting the nearby wall. Having previously built up momentum, Tugoro would aim to reverse it, slamming a single foot down on the ground as he watched [member="Sasha Santhe"] move from the table. Seeing as he was closer to the enemy, the blaster bolts would be easily intercepted, as the boy used his momentum dash back the way he had came. Lowering his arm quickly, the young Jedi would draw his second weapon, it being the training saber he had showed the female earlier.

The blue beam of plasma would ignite into life, casting a bright glow of light around the boy's immediate area. Touching down on the ground between the battle droid and Sasha, Tugoro would begin to move his arms at a fast past. Even though he moved quickly, the young Padawan worked to save stamina, utilizing the Soresu form as he employed tight bladework. He had done a lot of moving so far, now he needed to be a rock, one that was against a flowing river. With brief movements of his wrists and arms, Tugoro would alter his blade's angle, allowing him to swat away blaster bolts that came from many directions. Thanks to Sasha, a squad of Santhe Security droids would show up, beginning to open fire upon the armed battle droid, that was apparently made of cortosis. How rare. Fortunately, the droids had begun fighting, leaving the two organics to plan. Furrowing his brow in suspicion, the young boy could not help but wonder if the droid was a malfunctioning experiment that Santhe had created. "Got a plan?" Tugoro would question, while his thoughts moved rapidly to formulate one of his own.

Blaster bolts fired across the room breaking holes into walls. Plan? Yes Sasha had a plan. "We kill it," she said standing and darting across the room and tumbling behind the island festooned with fruits from across the galaxy. Sasha was no damsel in distress. She knew how to take care of herself, besides this wasn't the first time someone had tried to kill her. People have been after her since she was a little girl.

The droids Sasha sent out crumbled under the cortosis coated monstrocity. [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] was doing an admiral job blocking blaster bolts abay with his saber. Good form, Sasha said admiring the view and analyzing his fighting style. His footing was a bit off, at least to Sasha's taste, but otherwise he had the form down.

Snapping out of her evaluation she kicked at a panel on the side of the bar loosing, then pulled it aside. Inside was a number of weapons. Sasha picked up an ion blaster, shot up over the table, and fired into the droid several times. The droid shook under the force of the blast, the ionic energy disrupting its systems. The droid however was well protected and wasn't disabled. Its brain, despite limitations Sasha could sense it in it, knew it was in trouble and then started its retreat. Two grenades rolled out of a compartment and toward the pair...

Sasha stepped out and pulled Tugoro by the shirt behind the island with her and gripped him tightly protecting him from the blast....

Tugoro would begin to look around the room in disbelief, despite the current situation. Now only was she pretty, she was also a bad-ass. Having practiced form three for months now, Tugoro figured he was a skilled practitioner in it's maneuvers. The bolts of energy that came towards the duo would be swatted away with ease, as the young Padawan kept up with his quick and efficient movements. The boy would adjust his blade's trajectory at a rapid base, though he was avoid moving his arms in large sweeps and the like, in order to preserve his stamina. The guard droids that had attempted to destroy the robotic attacker had been dealt with easily, the droid's weaponry obviously a bit advanced. Craning his neck ever so slightly, Tugoro would glance towards [member="Sasha Santhe"], before assuming his look of disbelief as she withdrew a large ion rifle.

Looking towards the enemy, Tugoro would watch as the ionized blasts of energy collided with it's form, causing it to hesitate before retreating. The young Padawan's attention was locked onto the robotic figure, his eyes watching keenly as it moved away. A sense of danger would begin to shoot up the boy's spine, as the two grenades were released, tapping against the floor as they rolled towards the duo. Thanks to his knack for detail, the brown haired boy would have time to react, before the explosives...Exploded. Extending both of his arms, the Padawan would aim his palms towards the thermal detonators, as he expelled amounts of force energy towards their position. Applying his understanding and refinement of the telekinesis technique, Tugoro would telekineticly grip the spheres, before causing them to launch high into the air. The explosives would detonate, casting a blindingly bright light across the room, that would easily overwhelm Tugoro's vision. However, they had not gotten as high as he hoped, seeing as Sasha's hand gripped the back of his shirt, before pulling. Shrapnel would be sent flying as the fiery storm was unleashed, some metallic shards slicing across the boy's skin. This broke his concentration, causing him to fall down into the safety of the booth, and her embrace.

Sasha breathed heavily keeping the youth tight at her side. The explosion erupted and debris was scattered about before there was a strange silence. Guards started to pour in. Santhe Security uniforms. Sasha stood up and looked around at the destruction. And then she laughed. She laughed because she'd survived, and because everything was okay....

"Oh Tugoro," she said stepping forward. "You're injured," she said ripping off a piece of cloth and covering the wound. She pointed at a guard, "my guest is injured."

"We'll get a medic ma'am," the guard replied.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Tugoro did not consider his injuries to be very major, even though the sting was very unpleasant. Many metallic shards had sliced into his skin, some getting stuck, while others went along the surface. The boy would begin to struggle to his feet, watching [member="Sasha Santhe"] as she released him from her embrace. A sharp sensation of pain would run along his torso as he cringed briefly, noticing that a piece of shrapnel had lodged into his shoulder. A few streams of blood ran down his face as well, for his forehead had been cut, oddly enough. "Thanks," the boy would mutter in bewilderment to Sasha, watching as the guard rushed off to get the medic.

The whole incident had been rather sudden, and unexpected. To top it all off, the female laughed it all off, after her dining hall had undergone extreme...Renovations. The young Padawan would flinch slightly once more, as Sasha began to stop his loss of blood. The pressure that was applied irritated his wound, making the boy grit his teeth as he resisted the pain. Lifting his opposite arm, Tugoro would offer the female a smile, before taking a hold of the cloth she held. "Don't worry, I'm fine," He spoke, intent on doing it himself. "This happen everyday?" The youth would question, a large grin plastered across his visage.

"Good," Sasha said relieved. The guards were clearing debris and taking scans of the area. Investigations would have to be conducted, but Sasha knew the cause. "I suspect this was more to do with you than it has me," she said answering the youths question."Jedi aren't the most popular around here. I suspect a political opponent caught onto you being here and used it as an excuse to attack." She let out a sigh, "It makes sense. In a day or two if I'm correct information on the incident and the 'inept' Jedi who failed to take down an assassin and has been cavorting around with Sasha Santhe will hit headlines. A few well placed bribes should be enough to stall them." She bit her lower lip as often she did when in concentration. "But it will cost in money and favors," And blood. When Sasha got her hands on the deranged man who planned this attack....

"Until then," she walked over to a peice of debris. "Why didn't your lightsaber work?" she examined a sample of the droid fallen off from impact of the skirmish....

Tugoro definitely wasn't one for political games, for they eluded the boy completely. He did not understand many things, politics being one of them. A few medical personnel would arrive on the scene, quickly tending to the young Jedi. They would remove the pieces of shrapnel within him, sterilizing the wounds shortly after. The whole process was extremely unpleasant, however with his Jedi training Tugoro was able to endure it. The youth would listen to [member="Sasha Santhe"] as she spoke, answering his question quite swiftly.

The young boy would look rather confused, as he shook his head in slight denial. The attack had been because of him? Surely it was just a speculation, and nowt entirely true. Was the Jedi Order hated that much? Exhaling loudly, the brown haired lad would move from the quickly assembled medical site, following Sasha in her examination of the droid parts. Looking to some of the shiny metallic materials that were scattered around, Tugoro would recognize and compare them to a metal he had heard of an encountered before. "Cortosis."

"Cortosis," Sasha repeated. "Its rare no?" Of course it was rare, otherwise everything would have it in them. Although it wasn't as rare as it once was. The prevelence of force users and lightsabers had seen a recent upsurge in its use. "That means whoever did this had resources." A lot of resources as it was. "But don't worry, security is heightened. The threat has passed," she smiled and dragged the boy away from the scene. "My brave boy," she said in an exagerated manner, "Come with me now." A pleasant smile beckoned him forward and Sasha grabbed his hands and pulled him lightly across the room.

It took a minute before they reached the workshop. "Put your lightsaber on the workbench," Sasha said, "For every problem there is a solution. We're going to solve this one.... Now tell me everything you know about Cortosis." She went over to a databank and started her own search....

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Tugoro would nod at her first comment, figuring as much. He had only encountered cortosis on one other occasion, where it had been made into plating for someone's mechanical limb. Looking over to the debris, a slight grin would spread itself across the youth's face, as he agreed with the fact that the threat had passed. Parts of the droid lay scattered, most likely having been taken care of by the security force. The thing that amused him the most was how [member="Sasha Santhe"] had fought back like that, for he truly hadn't taken her for a woman of action. It was admirable. Suddenly, Tugoro would find himself being led, looking towards his hands that had been bound by the female's own. The youth's cheek would turn a slight red, as he wondered why she always touched him.

Even so, the Padawan would be led, offering no resistance to her instructions. After a few moments, the duo would arrive in a workshop, one that was probably lined with all sorts of interesting looking equipment. "Okay," Tugoro would reply, as he reached for one of his lightsabers. Which one would he pick? Taking a second to think about his decision, the youth would settle on his shoto hilt, placing it upon the workbench. Recalling his knowledge of cortosis, Tugoro would continue to speak, "It's lightsaber resistant, though not strong as a metal." He finished, not knowing if there was anything else to know. He craned his neck to look at the female, who was behind a computer panel of sorts.

Sasha looked over notes. It wasn't the first time she had encountered the material herself and she said it in such a manner that it was blatant the rumors about her force training was correct to some extent. She doubted the boy noticed though. "dimetris circuits," she said looking down at the display. It was such a common element that it had to be the cause. The University of Rudrig had it in its archives. It wasn't as complete an article as many others given the substances rarity and the relatively minor use against lightsabers. Although a potent weapon to be wielded there was little other practical application. "Thats the cause of the short outs," she declared. "Hard to replace, other materials are either not up for the job of holding a lightsabers power, are rare, expensive, or any combination thereof." Turning she smiled, "But this is Lianna, we are a factory world bristling with many types of components. I'm sure we'll find something suitable."

A catalog of parts and components of various types flashed on a holographic display in front of her. With her hand she selected a dozen or so new circuits and also ordered a number of raw materials. "And if we can't find something up to the task," she waved at the equipment, "we will manufacture it." This was her element, technology. She loved to tinker and design. "It will take a day or two for things to arrive, until then would you do me the honor of escorting me to dinner?"

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Standing still amidst the workshop, Tugoro would remain oblivious to any force training Sasha might've had, given his rather clueless and naïve attitude. The boy really was slow when it came to just about everything, except fighting. Wondering what would be done about these dimetris circuits, the young Padawan would nod slowly as he listened to [member="Sasha Santhe"], understanding most of what she had to say. The boy's attention would be directed back to his weapons as the young woman began to conclude her findings, his hand reaching down to grasp at his saber's metallic hilt. At first, Tugoro had been disappointed to hear that it'd be difficult to get a replacement for the circuits, but ultimately brightened up as she turned and smiled. Maybe he would actually get a weapon immune to that pesky cortosis! Craning his neck slowly, Tugoro would begin to examine the holographic display that was nearby, reading through the selected materials for no reason in particular, before once more looking to Sasha.

He still was unsure of what manufacturing was, but it sounded good, and would hopefully help in his quest to be immune to cortosis. One thing he would never be immune to, however, was hunger. Performing a brief victory arm pump, Tugoro would walk over to Sasha, nodding eagerly as he held out an arm for her to hold if she wished. He was all for escorting her to dinner, but was a bit embarrassed by the fact that he had no idea where he was going. "Alright, let's go!" The youth would exclaim, heading off in a completely random direction, a bit worried by two things. One, was where they would end up, and two was if they'd be attacked again! Tugoro was surprised to find himself so focused on food, despite the recent murder attempt.

"[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]," Sasha called as the boy started to walk in… well the wrong way. “We need to get properly dressed.” She took his arm and guided him down the hallway. It took a few minutes but they finally reached the residential area of the manor. Sasha showed him to a room where a suit lay for Tugoro. She had it tailored earlier from the measurements he’d taken.

An impeccable black suit sitting on the bed. The room itself was… well large with a huge bed and drawers and a closet that when opened would reveal a full wardrobe of clothing fit to Tugoro’d dimensions. They were of course all in Sasha Santhe’s tastes which means too tight for the youths tastes. “This is your room while you are my guest,” she pleasantly said. “You get changed and wait while I change…”

It took about twenty minutes before Sasha returned knocking on the youths door. “I’m back…” she wore an elegant dress with a long slit revealing the majority of her right led. “Like my little red dress?” she asked extending her hand for her escort to take.

Grinning sheepishly, Tugoro would allow [member="Sasha Santhe"] to take the lead, the duo now walking towards their destination's correct location. Stepping into the room, the boy would begin to look around, marveling at the luxurious living conditions, for he had never been in such a large bedroom before. It was pretty cool! Stepping slowly towards the big bed, the Jedi would gaze upon the suit, averting his attention to nod towards Sasha as she explained the situation. Wow, this was his permanent room?! He'd definitely have to be a guest here more often, then. After watching her leave, Tugoro would take hold of the suit, separating the separate pieces of attire and fitting them upon his body slowly.

Taking a step over to the drawer where a huge mirror was set upon it's surface, the boy would begin to examine himself, adjusting his clothing where he saw fit, before running his hands through his hair a few times. It was a decent outfit, even if Tugoro did not see the point in wearing it. He hadn't really thought there was anything improper about the way he had been dressed, but he simply figured it was just one of those things he did not understand. Moving towards the closet, Tugoro would swing open it's door, stepping into the massive area which had many types of clothing. They all seemed to be his size, too. If he wasn't so caught up in how lucky he was, the boy might have seen how it was a bit creepy, too.

As he heard the knocking, Tugoro would exit the closet, walking over to the door and pressing the console controls. As the door opened, Tugoro would look up, examining Sasha's attire from head to toe, before resting his gaze upon her eyes. She was very pretty, and he did his best to play it off casually. Taking her hand gently into his own, the boy would smile as he looked upon the young woman, his mouth opening as he spoke before exiting the room, "You look great." Eventually the two would step out into the corridors once more, walking the correct path to their destination once more. Tugoro wondered how long they were going to hang out for, and what they were having for dinner! There were so many things to do in this place, it was like an amusement park.

Sasha led [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] through the corridor and to the dining hall. A large table sat at the center of the ancestral dining hall. There was places set and many others around the table. “That is Phille Santhe,” she said indicating a portly man. “And Kanesh Sienar,” she nodded politely to the man, “One time he pulled a blaster on me when I was a little girl. Not very nice.” The pair continued around the table as Sasha nodded and waved at various people around the table. “That is little Raith Sienar the third,” Sasha said nodding at a lad about Tugoro’s age, perhaps a little older. “They actually suggested I marry him to help reunite the Santhe Sienar line once again. Can you believe that?” She leaned in to Tugoro and said, “But when you reduce a family tree to a family bush….” she laughed.

Finally she found her seat and indicated a chair next to Tugoro. “Tion ways and Tion laws,” Sasha said aloud. The rest of the table repeated the words before they sat. Droids brought food out in trays for each of the assembled. Delicacies from a dozen worlds were present. “This is my family Tugoro,” she said smiling and nodding to the assembled guests. “We are the lords and ladies of Lianna. The people and their prosperity, indeed the prosperity of all the planet is our responsibility. My responsibility.” She leaned over and put a hand on the lads hand combing a hand through his hair, “Do you understand?”

Tugoro could only sigh in relief as [member="Sasha Santhe"] took the lead. He truly had had no idea where he was going, the living force hadn't even come to his aid in this dire situation. After a few minutes of walking through the corridors together, the duo would come upon the dining hall, the young Padawan immediately noticing the large table that was decorated with all kinds of delicious looking foods. Pulling at the collar of his suit, Tugoro could not help but feel uncomfortable, still unused to wearing such attire. As Sasha began to introduce the members of her family, Tugoro would look to them with a smile, offering them a traditional Jedi boy one at a time. As he listened to the young woman's anecdotes, the boy would laugh at first, his face eventually turning red as she spoke of marriage.

Chuckling nervously, the Jedi would follow Sasha to their seats, his arm extending forward to have his hand pull it from beneath the table. Now sitting, the youth would remain silent as the group spoke of "Tion," something he was unfamiliar with. It was interesting however, and his curiosity could not help but be piqued. Was it their company's name, or something? Wait, wasn't it Santhe-something? Who knew, neither did he care, for suddenly he found Sasha's hand stroking through his hair as she spoke to him. "Uh," Tugoro began as he listened, not exactly sure as to what it was he was supposed to understand. Even so, he went along with it, his face still red as he nodded his head. "Yeah I guess." He spoke, in his quick, toneless fashion of basic.
