Location: The Jedi Temple

The room was silent and dark, the only sound would be the rooms central air system, the silent humming giving a soft white noise within the background. Laying in her bed, Anneliese's form lay sprawled out within the sheets, but her resting demeanor was not that of one with peaceful dreams... no, her dreams were dark as of late, and a weight lie upon her very soul.

The sounds of screams of the many people falling in battle heard, and the sounds of sabers burning flesh overwhelmed her dreams -- she remembered the price she had to pay on her way to help Master Thio, death was on her hands... red was in her ledger, and no amount of "good" would ever take the overwhelming feeling that she felt away. Deep down, Anneliese knew had she not ended their lives, her own would have been forfeit, but -- what she had experienced was exactly what Jax had hoped to have avoided... but due to her sheer stubbornness, she choose to learn the hard way. Tossing and turning with soft moans, flashes of the Sith that had begun to fight filled her mind.... of the changing on the duel, of her Master shielding her with his body... of the blood that covered her.... and the anger she felt.

Jolting upwards, a silent scream trying to escape from her mouth, Anneliese sat upwards in bed breathing rather roughly as she began to cry silently, soft but uncontrolled sobs heard as her hands came to her chest, the young woman rolling over into a curled up fetal position. Rubbing her hands in the sheets she continued to sob. " Why can't I get rid of the blood?"Rubbing her hands harder and harder until she began to kick the sheets off, moving quickly over to the sink, a soft white light kicking on as she examined them -- there was no blood -- she had been dreaming once again. Bracing against the counter, Anneliese ran her hands through her hair, sighing softly as she tried her best to calm her breathing. " Its not real Anne, Its not real. You are safe, Master is safe, Master is alive -- you are alive... I am safe." The Jedi Consulars had debriefed her after the battle -- telling her several times over and over "she was safe', seems they wanted to ensure the Padawans specifically were monitored carefully -- this being the exact reason why, for many Jedi's came back from battle in tact, but scarred in ways no one could see, and those were men and women who had years upon years of training as opposed to Padawans... but, embarrassment filled her mind, she didn't like talking to them, she felt like they condescended her frequently, diminished what she felt... she didn't trust them like she trusted Jax, and today was the day she finally got to meet with him, for medical had finally released him back to a 'soft' active status.

Looking over at the clock, Anneliese groaning ever so slightly she decided now was probably the best time to go ahead and get ready and just get dressed. It was early... too early, but luckily the cafeteria would be open. Adorning her usual garb, Anneliese clipped her saber to her belt and exited the room. Walking silently down the hallway to the Cafeteria, and bowing to the Masters that crossed her path on the way, Anneliese entered the rather large and open hall and began to gather her food. Sitting at a table more off to the side and out of the way she began to nibble and pick at her plate, truth be told she wasn't hungry as of late either.... in fact, many of the Masters during some of her classes had noted that her mind kept wandering -- they were concerned and she knew this, but honestly, she couldn't help it. The threatening feeling of anxiety once again creeping up within her chest loomed once her mind began to wander again, she had to breath slowly, she needed to calm down, Master Thio would be meeting her here shortly, she didn't want to add to his already long list of his own problems... feth knew she had already done enough... man she was going to get an earful.

The battle of Tython was over, the Galactic Alliance won.

Better yet, the correct phrase was that the Galaxy won against the Brotherhood. It was long and bloody battle and many people lost their lives, but everyone maintained their resolve and pushed the Brotherhood back. As Jax looked on at the sunset, he could feel in his bones that the end of the war was coming near. It was all about who would make that final daring move. Yet Jax needed closure, he needed to take care of his own demons. Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex still loomed large in his mind, Jax could hear him speaking to him in an unknown tongue. Was it the language of the Sith? He wasn't entirely sure.

One thing for sure though, Jax didn't tell anyone about his heritage except for Jairdain Jairdain and Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor . But sooner or later, he'll have to tell the Jedi council that he might be for all intents and purposes an experiment of sorts. "I wonder how Valery Noble Valery Noble will react?" Jax mused. "Is she going summon her Lightsaber to try to execute me? It'll be pretty funny if it weren't for the fact that life would be endangered."

Just then, he sensed Anneliese's presence causing Jax to sigh heavily. He almost forgot why he was here, Anneliese in her eagerness to fight on Tython nearly got Jax killed trying to save her. The Jedi Master turned around frowning placing his hands on his hips. "Sit," Jax said shaking his head. "You know why you're here Anneliese."
