PRODUCTION INFORMATION

Manufacturer: Cult of Saud
Affiliation: Da'Razel (Saint Peterius)
Market Status: Closed-Market
Model: Power Hammer
Modularity: Low — replaceable stabilizer cell only
Production: Unique
Materials: Quadanium steel (Head, blades, haft) | Barab ingot (Crucible core) | Power cell (Concealed in hilt)

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Classification: Heavy two-handed warhammer
Size: Very large
Weight: Very heavy

Special Features:
Barab Crucible Core: At the hammer's heart burns a core of Barab. Its lit by a power cell in the hilt, it stokes a perpetual unstable flare, bleeding radioactive heat and fire through the Quadanium seams.
Radial Blades: Massive Quadanium ridges encircling the hammer's head. On impact, they tear through armor seams like shearing cleavers, while also serving as vents for the Barab core's discharges. When the weapon flares, these blades glow red-hot.
Flame-Trail Swing: When swung, the power cell amplifies the Barabs flare, channeling the discharge through vents and radial blades. The result is a violent, burst of flame that trails the hammer's arc, scorching, warping, and igniting whatever it touches.
Damage Types: Its strikes combine blunt kinetic impact, sharp cutting from the radial blades, searing thermal burns through the flames, and a lingering radiological effect released by the Barab.

STRENGTHS

Insane Weight & Power: Quadanium's density makes each strike siege-class, absolutely devastating to fortifications, armor, and structures.
Damage Profile: Crushing blunt force combined with cutting radial blades, searing thermal burns and radioactive flares

WEAKNESSES

Extremely Heavy: Two-handed only; slow recovery, poor for agile combat.
Power Dependency: Flame functions require the power cell to stoke the Barab core
Heat Stress: Overuse at full flare overheats the chamber; requires cooldown and maintenance.
Environmental Limits: Flame-trail, and flares are diminished in vacuum

DESCRIPTION

The Kotjontû, dubbed by its cultist creators as "The Instrument That Breaks," is, as its name suggests, a tool devoted to utter destruction. Forged over Hab Abbadon, in the skeletal frame of the third Death Star in 902 ABY, it was wrought from Quadanium diverted from Project Stardust.

The prototype caught the attention of the Cult of Saud, and as their entombed Saint recovered within his prison of iron, they labored tirelessly to shape the Kotjontû into an icon of war and fire.

Just as Da'Razel flares within his life-sustaining armor, at the hammer's heart beats a radioactive Barab core, held in eternal suspension by a stabilizer cell. Even at rest, the weapon bleeds fire through its seams, its head glowing like a forge left untended.

In battle, it roars with pyre. Each swing amplifies the Barab's fury, every devastating blow accompanied by the tearing shear of its radial blades and a stoked outburst of the radioactive inferno that thrashes within.

It is a weapon without subtlety: a relic dedicated to a deity, as thoroughly devoted to destruction as its wielder is to his God-Emperor.
